Iowa Wesleyan, one of the smallest schools in NCAA Division III, has announced its intent to return to the NAIA. The school left the NAIA for Division III in 2013 and was only eligible for the D-III NCAA Tournament for a short time.
Westminster (Pa.) has hired Patrick Riley as its head baseball coach for the 2020 season. Riley was the assistant coach for the Titans the past two seasons and replaces Kelly Swiney, who stepped down after two seasons to pursue another head coaching position.

Methodist pitcher Tristen Luck was the first rookie award winner and joins Iowa Wesleyan outfielder Joseph Belarde and Spalding starting pitcher, Jimi Keating, both from the SLIAC, on the first National Players of the Week award.
