April 2, 2023Voss Ties All-Time Home Run Mark as NJCU Earns Home Win Versus TCNJ for First Time Since 1989JERSEY CITY, N.J. — For the first time since since April 23, 1989, when Jersey City State College swept Trenton State College in a doubleheader, the New Jersey City University baseball team split a home twin bill with The College of New Jersey on Sunday, April 2, to start New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) play with a victory — it is NJCU's first win in its NJAC opener since 2018. Additionally, graduate student first baseman Ricky Voss (Eatontown, N.J./Monmouth Regional) blasted his first home run of the season in game one, giving him 18 for his career, which ties the all-time mark, set back in 1988 by Hall of Famer Rich Levens.

April 30, 2022NJCU Earns First Victory over William Paterson Since 2015, Splits Season-FinaleWAYNE, N.J. — The New Jersey City University baseball team wrapped up its 2022 season with a doubleheader against New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) rival William Paterson University today, Saturday, April 30. In game one, the squad defeated the Pioneers for the first time since 2015 by a final score of 10-8. Similar to game two, NJCU got on the board first in the high-scoring affair but it was not enough as WPU held on for the 15-10 win.
