April 26, 2023 Bates ends 31 game drought with Wednesday win over Huskies Bates earned their first win against the Southern Maine Huskies since 1988 as Henry Jamieson set a new record for stolen bases. Wittenberg moved their win string to 15 games with a 7-4 win over Baldwin Wallace. The Tigers are 2-0 over Top 5 teams this year.
March 6, 2023 Wittenberg surprises LaGrange Witternberg defeated No 4. LaGrange in a Top 5 upset on Monday. UW-Oshkosh continued their hot start to the season with their second win over No. 17 Webster.
February 24, 2023 JHU, ECSU opens with sweep Friday ECSU started their title defense with two wins. JHU opened their season with a shutout win over Cortland and a win over Wittenberg in their own invitational. In the D3 Showcase, CNU stayed unbeaten and Rochester bounced back from a loss to drop Marietta.
March 31, 2021 Hollinshead, Westermeyer, and Seymour earn NCBWA honors A four-home run week, a no-hitter, and an 11-RBI week took home the week five NCAA Div. III National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association honors. This week’s honorees were recognized for performances spanning March 22-28.
August 1, 2016 McGee take reins of Tigers program Wittenberg has announced the hiring of Brian McGee as the head coach of the Tigers baseball program. McGee arrives in Springfield after spending the past nine seasons at Lake Erie, where he served as head coach.
June 7, 2016 Lewis steps down for AD job After 20 seasons at the helm of the baseball program at Wittenberg, Jay Lewis has stepped away from his duties as head coach, following his decision to accept the position of athletics director at Graham High School in St. Paris, Ohio.
