Centenary (La.) picked up its 20th win of the season with a 3-1 victory at No. 3 Trinity (Texas). Centenary received a solid, complete-game performance from Layton Tromba on the mound. Tromba fanned four batters while allowing seven hits and a pair of walks in the contest. The Bossier City, La., sophomore forced 15 fly ball outs and garnered eight ground outs while leaving eight Tigers stranded on the bases.

Rhodes took both games of this afternoon's conference doubleheader against Berry. Rhodes won the first game 4-0 and the second game 15-5. Senior starter Jackson Baker threw a complete game nine inning shutout in the first game and sophomore infielder Josh Keen led the way for the Lynx offense in the second game going 3-3 with two walks, six RBIs, and two runs scored.
No. 20 Western New England used strong starting pitching to sweep a CCC doubleheader from visiting Salve Regina, 1-0 and 3-1, at Pat Ricci Field at Trelease Park. On the strength of two flawless pitching performances by seniors Mike Lospinuso (7 IP, 3 hits, 5 K, 0 ER) and Jeff Richardson (6 IP, 7 hits, 3 K, 0 ER), the Golden Bears lowered their team earned-run average from 3.05 to 2.80. Vincent Roth, the Seahawks' starter in the opener, pitched impressively as well, going six innings and allowing only one earned run.
Chris Bzozowski hit a solo home run in the second inning and
Gabriel Molina connected for a go-ahead two run shot in the seventh
inning to lead Keystone to a 4-2 victory over Rutgers-Newark in
non-conference action at Christy Mathewson Field. The Giants,
currently ranked 13th in the nation, improve to 15-5 on the season
with their fourth straight win.
Powered by six shutout innings by senior Paul Piccirillo, St. Joseph's (Brooklyn)
defeated Drew, 12-1 at Doc Young Field. The Bears assemble
another streak after their come-from-behind win over Cairn
yesterday while the Rangers have now lost six games in a row.
Senior Nick Ramagli scored three Cougar runs in addition to
launching his first home run of the season as No. 6 Kean
sailed past St. Joseph's (L.I.), 10-1. In their first east
coast road game of the season, Kean used back-to-back multi run
innings to take an early 8-1 lead on their way to improving to 15-4
this season. Ramagli finished with a 3-for-4 day with two RBI
and three runs scored.
Brigewater (Va.) rallied for a win over

For the second time in eight days, Bridgewater (Va.) put
together a late inning rally to defeat Washington and Lee in ODAC
action. On a cold, blustery afternoon, the Eagles scored two in the
seventh to tie the score and then added four runs in the eighth to come
away with an 11-7 victory over the Generals. A week ago in
Lexington, the Eagles erased a 4-2 deficit with a five-run eighth
inning and went on to take a 9-4 win over W&L.

10 Wheaton (Mass.) notched a 6-5 victory over Salem State.
Freshman right-hander Jared Clement earned his second win of the
season in relief pitching two clean innings while yielding two hits
and striking out one batter. Junior closer Ryan Grant tallied his
fourth save in six appearances allowing one hit in the ninth
inning.
Sophomore Adam Emerson picked up his second win in relief in as
many games, and senior Ryan Fleischmann broke his own single season
record for saves as eighth-ranked Christopher Newport defeated Virginia
Wesleyan, 6-3. The Captains picked up their third straight win,
while the Marlins slip to 6-17 overall this year.
Senior Pete Rosa rapped out four hits and drove in four runs as Johnson
& Wales rallied from a two-run seventh inning deficit to post a
10-2 non-league college victory over Mass-Maritime at Commodore
Hendy Field. After being held to just one hit over the first six
frames, the visiting Wildcats erupted for 14 hits as part of their
late innings rally and sandwiched a two-run eighth inning between a
pair of four run outbursts in the seventh and ninth.
Seth Webster threw his sixth consecutive complete game and his
third shutout of the season in a 2-0 win
in game one of Louisiana College's doubleheader with
Texas-Dallas in Richardson, TX. The Deville, LA native
dominated yet another opponent as he worked all seven innings
against the Comets, giving up five hits, striking out five, walking
none while not allowing a run. Texas-Dallas came back in the
nightcap to blank Louisiana College 4-0.
In his first career start, sophomore righty Brent Pelella shut out
Roger Williams on three hits through seven innings to propel
Eastern Connecticut State to a 2-0 non-conference victory at
the Eastern Baseball Stadium. In his tenth career appearance,
Pelella, Tyler Cyr, and Matt Purnell combined on the team's first
shutout since April 18 of last year.
Scranton continued its strong play, particularly on the pitching
mound, while sweeping a doubleheader against Houghton, 3-2 in 12 innings
and 12-2, at Lake Myrtle Park. Scranton won the opener thanks
to six strong innings of relief from junior Chris Rom and sophomore
Josh Bayzick. Rom tossed four innings, allowing one run on four
hits. Bayzick earned the win by holding Houghton in check for the
final two innings, allowing two hits and striking out one.
