Tyler Phillips and Jack Massa each homered and finished with three hits and Patrick Schetter went 4-for-5 as Cortland defeated visiting Oneonta, 8-3, in the opening game of a three-game weekend series. Cortland reached the 20-win plateau for the 28th consecutive season. Alex Weingarten improved to 5-1 with six innings of four-hit ball. He allowed two runs, struck out seven, and walked none. He retired the first nine batters he faced, extending his streak of consecutive outs recorded to 23 dating back to his last start versus Brockport, before allowing a Brandon Torres leadoff double in the fourth.

Maryville handed the No. 2-ranked LaGrange Panthers only their fourth loss of the season, 4-3, on MC's historic Scotland Yard. The Scots celebrated senior day on Saturday in a big way, as they relied on junior Johnny Carpenter and a strong pitching effort in defeating the nationally ranked squad. Maryville saw Carpenter go 2-for-3 with a run and four RBI, as the right fielder accounted for each of the Scots' four runs. The Orange and Garnet's pitching efforts shined as well, with Jeremy Haggerty moving to 2-0. He pitched 6.0 innings, allowing just two runs on five hits. He struck out four. Senior Joe Jones earned his sixth save of the year, going 3.0 innings. The standout gave up a trio of hits and only a single run, while striking out four, as well.

A day after dropping the first game of an ASC series for the first time this season, Texas-Dallas rebounded with a doubleheader sweep of the Belhaven Blazers to claim the series. UTD held off the Blazers, 3-1, in the Saturday opener, then powered their way to an 14-4 win in the second game, ending the game by the "getaway game run rule" in eight innings. With the sweep, the Comets stayed within reach of one of the ASC's top two seeds in the standings with an ASC home series against Louisiana College scheduled next weekend.

Back-to-back home runs in the bottom of the seventh inning lifted Muhlenberg to a 6-4 victory over nationally ranked Johns Hopkins. The teams ended up splitting the doubleheader, with Johns Hopkins taking game two, 14-6. The Mules smacked 12 hits in the first game, none bigger than the solo home runs hit by senior John Icaza and sophomore Chris Grillo in the bottom of the seventh when the game was previously tied at 4-4. In game two Johns Hopkins exploded for eight runs in the eight inning to put the game away.

No. 3 Birmingham-Southern swept SAA rival Berry in a conference doubleheader that moved the Panthers one step closer to clinching the regular season title. Birmingham Southern is currently in first place in the league with seven games left. The wins today secured the Panthers at least a No. 2 seed in the tournament they will host. Birmingham Southern won 8-3, 7-3.

St. Olaf swept 25th-ranked Bethel 6-2 and 10-7 at Mark Almli Field. The Oles scored six times with two outs in the fifth inning to rally for the game one win. Jake Mathison threw his fourth complete game, allowing two earned on five hits and a walk while striking out eight. Luke Dahl, Dylan Blake, and Jake Ossell each went 3-for-5 as the Oles pounded a season-high 18 hits in the 10-7 win. Mathison went 2-for-4 as he and Ossell homered

Host Grove City Wolverines made nine errors over two games as the No. 21-ranked Presidents took full advantage in sweeping a league doubleheader at Grove City, 14-2 and 15-1. With the victories, Washington & Jefferson begins Presidents' Athletic Conference play 10-0 for the first time in program history. Riley Groves earned career victory number 21 in the opener, pushing him into a tie for fourth place with Mike Trumpower on the W&J career wins list. The senior righty scattered five hits and gave up just one earned run over 6.0 innings. He fanned seven batters on the day, pushing him over 100 strike outs in his career. Trevor Kerr followed Groves' lead in the night cap. Kerr improved to 3-1 after working the first 5.0 innings and giving up three hits and an unearned run while striking out four and walking two.

Dillon Dunne threw a complete game shutout in game two and senior Cameron Coons drove in three runs on the day as #11 Alvernia split a doubleheader to win a 3-game series over Widener in MAC Commonwealth action at Widener. The Crusaders took Friday's opener 6-3 in Reading to start the series. Widener scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth in the first game n Saturday for a 5-2 come-from-behind win, then Dunne went the distance allowing just two hits with six strikeouts in the rubber game.

Cody Brown struck out six and threw a complete game to lead Texas-Tyler to a 5-1 win in the first game of its doubleheader against Louisiana College and Brady McCoy had six RBI in the second for the Patriots who earned a 13-6 series finale victory at Billy Allgood Field. The Patriots won the series 2-1 after dropping the opener on Friday and have now won all six of their ASC series this season. Texas-Tyler finished series hitting .312 as a team and with a 21-11 scoring advantage over the Wildcats who are now 9-8 in conference play. The Patriots were led by their catchers during the series with McCoy going 3-for-4 with six RBI in the finale after Kyle Broussard had three RBI on Friday and then had two RBI in Saturday’s first game.

The No. 4 UW-Whitewater Warhawks posted two complete performances in two wins over UW-La Crosse in a WIAC doubleheader at Prucha Field at James B. Miller Stadium.The Warhawks claimed the opener by a 4-1 score before downing the Eagles 9-4 in the second game. In game one, junior right-hander Austin Jones moved to 5-0 on the season, allowing only one unearned run on five hits while striking out seven in seven innings of work. In the nightcap, junior pitcher Heath Renz shut down the Eagles, allowing only two hits and two walks while striking out five in seven innings to improve to 3-0 on the year.

The No. 20-ranked Otterbein Cardinals unfortunately settled for a doubleheader split against Capital, winning 10-7 before a disappointing 5-4 loss at Fishbaugh Field. The Cardinals, moving to 18-6 overall and 4-2 within OAC play as a result, will have a critical week ahead with league doubleheaders at Marietta on Tuesday and then at John Carroll next weekend. Both teams made the OAC Tournament last spring.

After several scheduling changes and a shift to a neutral site at UMass-Boston, Emory and Brandeis finally got together on the diamond with the Eagles winning both games on the night, 6-0 and 3-0. Both games were seven inning contests. The change of venue was after the playing field on Brandeis' campus was deemed unplayable following a heavy rainstorm Thursday night. Senior Jackson Weeg and sophomore Billy Dimlow each recorded complete game shutouts, combining for 21 strikeouts, no walks and only six hits allowed as the Eagles took the first two games of the series from the Judges.

Four Tufts pitchers allowed just one run in 14 innings as the Jumbos swept a non-league doubleheader from Lesley 9-0 and 4-1 at Huskins Field. Senior tri-captain Speros Varinos allowed five hits and no runs in six innings while improving to 5-0 this season with the game-one win. Sophomore R.J. Hall pitched six innings allowing seven hits and one run for the decision in the second game. Freshman Brent Greeley and senior Rory Ziomek both pitched perfect innings in relief, with Ziomek recording three strikeouts in the seventh to earn the save in game two. Junior 3B Tommy O'Hara was 2 for 5 with a double, a home run, five rbis and two runs scored in the twinbill for Tufts. His three-run home run in the bottom of the third of game two made the difference. Senior 2B Tom Petry scored three times and drove home two runs in the pair of games.

Centenary (La.) swept a doubleheader from Texas Lutheran, 4-2 and 7-4. With his longest outing of his collegiate career in game one – and his first nine-inning complete game – sophomore Matthew Devillier (9-0) tied the school record for single-season wins. Deviller only threw 87 pitches in the game (59 for strikes) and retired the final 14 batters after allowing two runs in the fifth. Devillier allowed seven hits and two runs while striking out three, including a pair in the ninth inning. In his first start of the season, junior Cole Lavergne (3-0) went the distance in game two. He allowed 12 hits and four runs with four strikeouts in nine innings.

The No. 13 Cal Lutheran baseball team stretched its streak to 14 in a row with a pair of wins over Whittier on Saturday afternoon at Ullman Stadium. In game one, the Kingsmen cruised to a 5-1 victory before a come-from-behind 7-4 victory in game two.

Augustana and Elmhurst combined for 53 runs on 59 hits and didn't even play the full 18 innings in a doubleheader slugfest at Swanson Stadium Brunner Field. The Bluejays held off a Viking rally to win the opener 16-13 and Augustana head coach Greg Wallace's 14th-ranked club bounced back to win 18-6 in six and a half innings in the nightcap. Ben Havel was the winner on the mound and went 5-for-6 at the plate with three scored and five driven in.  The runs kept coming in game two but after the first inning it was all Augstana.

TCNJ split its road doubleheader at Ramapo as the #17 Lions road the arm of junior Joe Cirillo in the opener to claim a 4-0 win. In the nightcap, TCNJ was held to four hits as the Roadrunners rebounded with a 6-3 triumph to salvage a split. Cirillo was brilliant in the opener, throwing a complete-game shutout. He matched the career-high he set just a week ago with 10 strikeouts. The composed right-hander retired the side in order on five occasions, scattering four hits and walking none. He is now 2-0 this season with a 1.66 earned run average in 43.1 innings pitched. The opening game victory also marked the first TCNJ win over Ramapo for every player on the Lions' roster. The Roadrunners have had the upper hand over the past several seasons with the last TCNJ victory coming on April 14, 2013.

No. 1 Shenandoah earned its third straight ODAC weekend sweep with 9-4 and 10-2 victories at Emory and Henry. Shenandoah banged out a combined 30 hits in the sweep over the Wasps. In game one, Gerard DePhillips scattered five hits and two unearned runs over 8.0 innings with the offense getting the initial 13 of those 30 hits. DePhillips struck out four and walked one before turning it over to Tyler Hott for the ninth. In the nightcap, Colin Morse matched DePhillips, pitching 8.0 innings and allowing two runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out six.

Allegheny earned a convincing 8-3 victory over #7 Wooster in the opener of a pivotal NCAC doubleheader, before the nightcap was suspended due to darkness in the ninth inning. A pair of seniors led the way in the opener, as Jacob Shick had two home runs, a double, and five RBIs in support of classmate Corey Keenan, who started on the mound and threw a stellar 7.1 innings, allowing just three hits with seven strikeouts.  In the nightcap, Wooster's offense came to life, as the Fighting Scots tallied 17 hits, including nine for extra-bases.  With Wooster ahead 16-5 in the ninth inning, the game was halted with the Gators rallying, as the bases were loaded with nobody out.

Wesley honored their eight seniors in a big way by sweeping the No. 23 Christopher Newport Captains in a CAC doubleheader at Bob Reed Field. Powered by a seven-run seventh inning and a quality start from Sam Meck, the Wolverines took down the Captains 8-3 in the opener of the doubleheader. Chris Seibert crushed two home runs to propel Wesley over Christopher Newport, 8-5, in the finale of the doubleheader.
