The team's last win by run rule came in a 12-2 triumph at Blackburn last season on May 5, 2021. Eureka scored 11 runs on 10 hits, with four players contributing a pair.

The Lions (7-9) won game one 9-8 on a walkoff in the bottom of the seventh, then picked up a lopsided 26-4 victory in game two over Chatham (6-3). Penn State Altoona led 8-5 going into the seventh, but Chatham rallied for three runs in the top of the final frame to tie the score. However, the Lions bounced back to score in the bottom of the seventh to record the walkoff win. In game two, 15 different Lions finished with at least one hit, as Penn State Altoona scored 26 runs on 26 hits for a big win in game two. The team's total of 26 runs is tied for the fourth-most runs in a single game in program history, and the Lions also finished the game with the second-most total bases (41) and the fourth-most hits (26) and RBI (25) in a single game in team history.

The USMMA Mariners put together a complete effort in their 10-3 win over arch-rival Coast Guard. Merchant Marine snapped its four-game losing streak and improved to 4-9 with the win. Coast Guard, in defeat, fell to 5-6. It turned out to be the Mariners who came out roaring rather than the Bears. Merchant Marine attacked early and often against Coast Guard starter Charles Red, who suffered his second loss of the season. The Mariners plated three runs in the opening inning thanks to RBI singles from senior Noah Herdman, and freshmen Derek Vanasse and Garrett Clapsaddle. On the mound, freshman Jacob Syversen was poised and proficient from the opening pitch. The winning pitcher tossed five solid innings allowing three runs on four hits and struck out four.

Saint John's (Minn.) settled for a non-conference split with Northwestern (Minn.) on Monday at Haugen Field at Becker Park. Northwestern (5-4 overall) batted only .143 (8-for-56) on the day but received 11 free passes (10 walks and one hit batsmen). SJU, meanwhile, batted 1-for-13 (.077) with runners in scoring position. Keuka College junior Spencer Brown struck out a school-record 14 batters as the Wolves defeated Knox College 9-2 on Monday on their spring trip in Florida. Brown went the distance on the mound for Keuka College (2-3), throwing a nine-inning complete game. At the plate, Nick Brown led the way with three hits, two of which were doubles. Knox College struck first as they loaded the bases with no outs in the second. Brown got a strikeout, but a single plated two runs for the Prairie Fire. The Wolves quickly responded and took control of the game in the third for a commanding 8-2 lead over Knox. The rest was in the hands of Brown. He struck out eight over the final six innings while allowing just three hits. Keuka added a run in fifth on a Matt Vacarro. Spencer Brown closed out the game in style. He recorded all three outs in the ninth with the strikeout as the Wolves defeated the Prairie Fire 9-2. Monday was the first-ever meeting between Keuka College and Knox College.

Purchase College secured its fifth-straight win Monday afternoon, outlasting the Eagles of Saint Elizabeth University, 10-6. With the non-conference win, the Panthers are now 5-7 overall. St. Elizabeth dropped to 3-9 with the loss. It was the bottom of the second that produced the biggest fireworks display of the day, as the Panthers dropped six runs in the frame. In top of the ninth, St. Elizabeth managed four runs, including a two-run homer, to make it a contest but ultimately, the Panthers had more than enough juice to hold out for the 10-6 victory.

Rose-Hulman scored three in the first and two in the second, but DePauw rallied with three in the third, four in the fourth and three more in the eighth for a 10-5 win over the Fightin' Engineers. The Tigers moved to 6-5, while Rose-Hulman dropped to 5-4. Kyle Callahan had three of DePauw's 10 hits, while Evan Barnes and Paul Jennewein each had two. Callahan finished with six RBI. Josh Mesenbrink had two of the Engineers' seven hits. Will Lucas improved to 2-0 after retiring the final 10 hitters he faced. Griffin Albright picked up his first save with four innings of one-hit, scoreless relief that included seven strikeouts. Josh Erpenbeck dropped to 0-1 with the loss.

No. 14 ranked UW-Whitewater was held scoreless for the first four innings before coming alive in the middle innings Monday for an 8-4 victory against Centre at Blue Wahoos Stadium in Pensacola, Fla. The Warhawks (6-2), who have now won five consecutive games, tallied three in the fifth inning and four more in the sixth to back a strong pitching performance from Westin Muir, who scattered six hits and struck out seven over seven-plus innings for his second win of the year. Saint Mary's (Minn.) took two different paths to the same end result — a victory. The Cardinals scored two runs in their final at-bat to rally for a 3-2, come-from-behind victory over Wheaton in the first game of the team's nonconference doubleheader Monday, before scoring two runs in their first plate appearance — and never relinquishing the lead — en route to a sweep-clinching, 8-2 victory at Lee Pfund Stadium. Wheaton held the lead twice in Game 1 — and both times, the Cardinals had an immediate answer.  The Cardinals flipped the tables on the Thunder in the nightcap, taking the early lead with a pair of runs in the top of the first inning, marking just the second time this season — and the first since its season-opening win over Concordia on Feb.17 — that Saint Mary's had scored in its first at-bat.

Huntingdon swept the series with Covenant, taking both games of the doubleheader, 10-6 and 11-4. Both games were 7 inning games. Covenant took a 2-1 lead in the third inning but the Hawks offense came to life in the third inning, adding 7 runs. Eddie Patterson earned his 5th win of the season, pitching 6.1 innings and allowing 6 runs on 10 hits with 4 strikeouts. In game two, Covenant another lead but Huntingdon took control of the game with another big inning. The Hawks scored eight in the sixth inning. Colton Clark earned the win, pitching 5.1 innings and allowing 3 runs on 6 hits with 3 strikeouts.

A pair of big innings allowed St. John Fisher to overpower Rochester, 8-4, Monday evening on Towers Field. With the win, Fisher improves to 6-6 on the season, while Rochester, which is receiving votes in the latest D3baseball.com national poll, falls to 10-3 overall. Leading 7-1, Fisher would put another run on the board in the top of the 9th following a Campanelli triple and wild pitch to bring the second baseman home. Logan Persse came in to close the bottom of the 9th for the Cardinals, but the right-hander found himself in trouble following three-straight hits from Rochester, including a solo shot to center to cut the lead down to 8-2. A couple more singles and a wild pitch would give the Yellowjackets two more before Persse would get himself out of the inning and the game, giving the Cardinals an 8-4 win.

UW-Stevens Point (6-1) won in dramatic comeback fashion on Monday taking down Wooster (6-3) for just the second time in program history with an 11-10 win in 10 innings. Connor Flanagan walked to begin the 10th. He stole second and Jake Tapia followed with a base on balls. With two down, Matt Baumann torched a single to right-center as UWSP walked off with the win. Baumann collected three hits on the day, including the walk-off single. It was his only RBI of the day and he scored twice. Lucas Luedtke also had a three-hit day. He drove in two.

Ohio Northern split a doubleheader against Albion on Monday, winning the first game 4-3 in seven innings before falling 7-5 in Game 2 at Wander Field. The Polar Bears (4-8 overall) and Britons (5-8 overall) were playing a doubleheader for the second straight day Monday after splitting a pair of games on Sunday in Albion. Senior Chayten Overholt and junior Jacob Wenning paced ONU offensively in the Game 1 win. The Britons out-hit the Polar Bears 11-10 in what was another tight battle in Game 2.
