Needing two victories to win the title, top-seeded Staten Island rallied in the waning moments of both games to stun No. 2 seed John Jay, 5-4 and 8-6, in the 2018 CUNYAC/MCU Baseball Championship Saturday at the CSI Baseball Complex.
Staten Island made their redemption song complete, after dropping the opening game of the 2017 CUNYAC tournament, they completed the comeback with 6-3, and 5-0 wins over Baruch to secure the title for the third straight year and 19th time overall.

The College of Staten Island kept on rolling this afternoon with a 4-3 win over St. Joseph's College – Brooklyn at the CSI Baseball Complex. This afternoon's win marks the third straight home victory for the Dolphins while also bolstering their win streak to 10 in a row. The win improves the Dolphins mark to 20-7-1 while knocking the Bears down to 12-14 on the year.
Staten Island opened up a sizable lead early, then scored another seven runs in their final three turns at the plate to score a 13-5, win over the Bearcats in the CUNYAC Tournament Championship Final.
The College of Staten Island baseball team eagerly awaited for 4:00 pm to take on their CUNYAC rivals Baruch College in game two of today's CUNYAC Championship Tournament. The Dolphins watched the Bloodhounds get eliminated in game one of the day after Lehman defeated them 3-1. The cardiac kids also known as the CSI baseball team would once again not make it easy on themselves. The Dolphins trailed the entire game before making yet another improbable comeback, much like the one in last year's final. The Dolphins faced a five run deficit in the bottom of the ninth but were able to overcome the odds and tie the game up and force extra innings. CSI didn't come this far to lose the game and would go on to win 10-9 in dramatic fashion. CSI moves to 25-13 overall and will now play in the finals tomorrow afternoon at the CSI Baseball Complex.
The College of Staten Island men's baseball squad used a 20-hit performance to advance their win streak up to a season-high eight games, skating past Drew University by a 13-4 count at the CSI Baseball COmplex. More important than the game, however, was the tally in the donation category, as the Dolphins raised a total of over $5,100 in funds to support breast cancer research as part of the 13th Annual Grace Hillery Breast Cancer Awareness Night.
The College of Staten Island engaged in a pitcher's duel with Montclair State University today in a doubleheader that took place at the CSI Baseball Complex in Staten Island, NY. Game one of the doubleheader ended 2-0 in the Dolphins' favor while game two took an extra inning before the Dolphins emerged victorious with a 4-3 win in eight innings of play. The pair of wins lifted the Dolphins to 10-6 overall while the Red Hawks dipped to 8-8 with the pair of losses.

The Bears, who came into today's doubleheader 0-5, swept the Dolphins 11-5 and 6-1 to improve to 2-5 overall while knocking the Dolphins down to 5-3.
After a doubleheader split yesterday, the College of Staten Island baseball squad got a pair of big wins this afternoon against previously undefeated Muhlenberg College, scoring 4-0 and 6-4 wins as part of the Cal Ripken Division III Experience in Myrtle Beach, SC. CSI lifted to 3-1 overall with the wins, while Muhlenberg moved to 5-2.
The College of Staten Island men's baseball squad had its first full day of outdoor baseball today, and they got their first win of the 2016 season as well, earning a doubleheader split against SUNY - Fredonia as part of the Cal Ripken DIII Experience in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. CSI won the opening game of the two-game set, 5-3, falling in game two by a 7-3 count. CSI is now 1-1 on the season, while Fredonia is 2-1.
Staten Island is back atop the CUNYAC, and the Dolphins did it the hard way. CSI was tripped up by Baruch in 11 innings, 6-5, before taking a 1-0 win in a winner-take-all game for the title.
Top seeded Staten Island opened the CUNYAC tournament with a win over John Jay. In a full MIAC schedule, St. Thomas clinched the regular season title with a sweep of second place Gustavus.
