Capital played two solid games against Alma, propelled by stout pitching and 16 runs across the two seven inning contests to remain unbeaten at 4-0. The starters for both contests picked up the wins and only allowed three runs across 13 innings of work. Beau Otto collected three more hits across the two games, bringing his season tally to 11 through just four games. Connor Richardson batted cleanup and drove in three runs on the day to lead his team with seven runs batted in. The last time the Crusaders strung together four or more wins in a row was in 2017 when the team won five in a row while on their spring break trip.

Franklin continued their four-game Florida trip on Monday morning, taking on Cabrini in a doubleheader featuring two teams that recorded 31 wins a year ago. The opening contest saw the Grizzlies (2-1) hold off the Cavaliers' (3-2) ninth-inning rally for a 10-9 victory. Cabrini salvaged a split on the day, taking the second contest 12-6. Both games were seven-inning affairs. Gavin White (1-0) earned the win in his first career start, scattering eight hits and striking out three over four innings. Tyler Wick and Alex Reinoehl combined to throw the final three innings. The Cavs would get their revenge in the back end of the doubleheader thanks to a 12-6 final featuring plenty of early action. Garrett Laraia led the offense in game two after finishing 1-3 with three RBI's, two runs and two walks.

Hanover trailed 8-2 lead through four innings of the second game of Monday's doubleheader against NVU-Lyndon at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational.  Hanover rallied to tie the game in the home half of the seventh inning, then scored the winning run in the bottom of the ninth to come away with a 9-8 victory.  The Panthers had earlier defeated the Hornets, 10-2, in game one.  With the sweep, Hanover improves to 3-2 on the season, while the Hornets fall to 0-3. Hanover jumped on the Hornets for four runs in the top of the first inning and never looked back.  Braden Imel and Charlie Burton each homered for Hanover and Jake Schaefer had a pair of hits. Hanover starter Justin Pope went the distance to earn the win, striking out 11 Hornets in the process.  TJ Santaw started for the Hornets and took the loss. Mark Walkenhorst's one out base hit drove in Jacob Dupps with the winning run in the nightcap.  Walkenhorst drove in three runs to pace the Panthers.  Andrew Littlefield homered for Hanover.
