CHAMPS! Ithaca Walks-Off Again to Top Rochester, 7-6, in Liberty League Title Game
TROY, N.Y. – For the third straight game in the Liberty League Tournament, the Ithaca College baseball team won on a walk-off and for the third consecutive season, the Bombers are Liberty League champions as IC defeated Rochester, 7-6, at RPI on Saturday. Ithaca is now 31-9 on the season and will take a 12-game winning streak into the NCAA Division III Championship.

No. 22 Eastern Connecticut Eliminated in Little East
BOSTON – On Friday,a six-run outburst in the third inning kept the Eastern Connecticut State University baseball team afloat in an 8-2 elimination game win over Keene State College in the 2024 Little East Conference baseball tournament. On Saturday, its opponent’s five-run explosion – also in the third inning -- sunk the Warriors’ hopes and ushered them out of the double-elimination tournament.

C2C CHAMPS! No. 10 Christopher Newport Baseball Shuts Out Mary Washington, 16-0, for Conference Title
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- The nationally-ranked Christopher Newport baseball team left no doubt in the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference Championship Game, capturing the 2024 title behind another darling start by Dylan Weber while the offense put up 16 runs on 21 hits at Captains Park. Playing in front of a season-high crowd, the Captains hoisted the C2C Championship Trophy with a shutout victory, 16-0, and improved to 26-9 this season.

A .611 week with 14 runs scored and 14 RBI, a four-hit complete game against a top-five team, and two dominant relief appearances captured the final National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Div. III honors for 2024. This week’s selections were based on games played April 29 through May 5.

Concordia (Wisc.) comeback send them to tourney opening win
In the opening round of the NACC Tournament, Concordia (Wisc.) completed an epic comeback over the Eagles of Edgewood in 10 innings, scoring eight of their nine runs in the final three innings to secure the 9-6 victory. Rockford was also an opening day winner.
