JACKSON, MS- The Millsaps Majors Nathan Harrell and James Perkins combined for a no-hitter on Wednesday night in a 3-1 Majors win.

Seven Titans reached base on Wednesday but none got on via a base knock, four errors, two walks and two hit batters to reach base and score a lone tally in the fourth. Harrell and Perkins were rolling on Tuesday with few hard hit balls from the Titans. William Chenoweth sprawled out for a line drive to lead off the eighth to rob the Titans' Tim Coonan of a single. Perkins got a trio of routine fly out to end the game and preserve the no-no.

The Majors scored first on Wednesday, scoring a single tally in the second. Isaac Glenn had his first of three hits on the day, a double down the right field line, went to third on a wild pitch and scored on a Samuel Doucet sac fly.

The Majors made it 2-0 in the third, after Logan Patterson and Stephen Gates walked, each advanced to second and third after a wild pitch. After two outs, Patterson scored on another wild pitch to push across the second run.

The Titans scored an inning later using an error, hit batter, sacrifice and a second error to score and make it 2-1. The Majors would threaten but not score in the bottom of the fourth after Glenn doubled again he made third with one out but was stranded there.

Neither team would do anything in the fifth and Millsaps scratched across some insurance in the sixth. Blake Littlejohn walked and stole second, reached third on a groundout and came in to score off a Samuel Doucet single.

The teams went quietly in the seventh and the eighth, with Chenoweth's diving catch on of the highlights of the evening in the eighth. In the ninth, the Titans got on with the fourth Majors' error of the game but the three routine fly outs followed.

The Majors move to 10-7 with the win and the Titans drop to 2-2. Millsaps will be back in action on Saturday with a doubleheader against the Centre Colonels in Danville.
