Dave Hanley will be stepping down as the part time Head Coach for the Emerson baseball program.
Additional responsibilities in his full time career will conflict with his ability to devote the time necessary to his student-athletes and the baseball program.
Coach Hanley experienced several successful seasons in his 11 years with the Lions. Coach Hanley was instrumental in elevating the baseball program from club to varsity status in 2007, as well as transitioning from the GNAC to NEWMAC conference.
Director of Athletics, Patricia Nicol, said "On behalf of Emerson Athletics and the entire college, I would like to express my gratitude to Coach Hanley for his dedicated service to the baseball program. He will be missed, but will always remain part of the Emerson Athletic's family."
