Home plate saw a lot of action on Wednesday afternoon at the with 29 total runs getting registered, as the Marymount remained perfect in CAC play with a 16-13 victory over Penn State-Harrisburg. The Saints recorded a blistering 19 hits including three home runs to hold off the Lions for their fifth-consecutive win, setting a new mark in program history with the streak. 

K.C. Abel  belted a grand slam and William Paterson defeated Springfield, 10-6, at the Central Florida Invitational. Abel finished 2-for-4 with a grand slam, five RBI and two runs scored. Mike Abate went 2-for-6 while adding a triple, two RBI and a pair of runs scored.

Minnesota Morris exploded for 12 runs and 22 hits in a 14-2 victory over Utica. Chandler Erickson, Willie Fust, Matt Flock, and Trent Johnson all had three hits on the afternoon. Sam Melchior went seven innings without allowing a run, he struck out five and scattered seven hits.

Keystone opened their annual spring break trip to Florida with a pair of victories to improve to 5-1 on the season.The Giants jumped out to a big lead early to defeat Heidelberg 7-5 in the opening game before edging out Salem State in a slugfest in game two, 14-13.

Benjamon Legath went 4-for-6 with seven RBI's and a grand slam home run to lead the Mount Aloysius baseball team past St. Vincent by a final score of 13-5 in non-conference action. The Mounties recorded 19 hits as six players registered multi-hit performances on the day. 

McDaniel scored eight runs in the seventh and eighth innings to rally for a 12-6 win over Fitchburg State at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational. Antonio Rosanova led the Green Terror (10-1) with a 4-for-5 day at the plate, adding four RBIs and a pair of runs scored.

Christian Bourgea was 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBI as the Keene State picked up its second straight win with a 12-2 victory over Vassar at Chain O' Lakes Stadium.

A single run in four consecutive innings was enough for Earlham to defeat Albright 6-3 in game two of its spring trip. The Quakers added two runs in their final at-bat with one was manufactured. Drew Dietz walked, took second on a failed pick-off, and a pass ball brought him to third. Dietz then stole home for the unearned run.

Blake Ream pitched six innings for the win as the Captains defeated a ranked team for the first time this season.

The 15th-ranked Christopher Newport Captains hung a crooked number on the scoreboard in the first inning, leading to a big win on the road in CAC action. The Captains took down 17th-ranked Mary Washington by a final score of 10-5 after racing out to a 7-0 lead after the first three outs.

The Virginia Wesleyan pitching staff struck out 10 batters while not issuing a walk in route to a 9-2 victory over Hampden-Sydney in ODAC action. Sean Grieser, having not pitched since February 27, took the bump for the Marlins and threw 65 pitches over five innings. He allowed just two unearned runs on six hits while striking out four.

The No. 10 Salisbury broke out on offense for 17 runs through the first three innings, on the way to a 22-13 CAC victory over Wesley College at the SU Baseball Field. Salisbury stays atop the CAC standings with a perfect 4-0 mark.

Jeffrey Butler went 3-for-4 with two RBI as sixth-ranked Randolph-Macon defeated Catholic 9-2 on Hugh Stephens Field at Estes Park. Michael Trentham also drove in two, while Nick Maiolo and Rick Spiers both had two hits and two runs for the Yellow Jackets.

The #12 Ramapo Roadrunners remained undefeated at 10-0 with a doubleheader sweep over #22 Washington (MO). The Roadrunners pounded out double digit hits in each game as they won 8-5, 9-4.

Freshman Daniel Kurtzer pitched 6.1 innings to earn his first career win while Jack Mercer and Daniel Morris closed the door in relief as Rhodes defeated Illinois Wesleyan, 4-3. Kurtzer allowed three runs on three hits and struck out three in the outing while Mercer pitched 0.2 innings to get out of the jam. Morris earned his first save of the season, going two total innings and allowing only one hit.

Hendrix defeated the University of the Ozarks 11-3 at Warrior Field. The Warriors outhit the Eagles 14-8 in the game. The Warriors have won six of their last seven games.

John Mulready’s two-run single in the bottom of the seventh snapped a 2-2 tie and lifted WPI to a 4-2 non-league victory over Mass-Maritime at the New England Baseball Complex. Mulready, Steven Gallagher and DJ Ouellette each had two hits as part of an eight-hit attack in the triumph for WPI, as Mike Vaitkunas earned his second victory in three decisions on the spring with four innings of one-hit relief of CJ Doskocil.

Puget Sound scored seven runs in the fourth inning as the Loggers topped Pacific Lutheran, 12-1, during a non-conference matinee on Logger Baseball Field. Nick Funyak, who has been an RBI machine all season, capped off the big inning with a two-run single to left field. The senior catcher finished with three RBI on the afternoon, adding to his team-high total of 21.

Spalding shut down Schreiner, winning 6-0. The win brings the Golden Eagles overall record to 8-4, while the loss drops the Mountaineers to 5-15 on the season. Javier Guerra earned the victory, while Caleb Allen was credited with the loss. Korie Vire led the offense, going 2-for-4 with three RBI's and a run. Nic Chafin had solid performance, going 3-for-5 with a RBI, two runs, and a stolen base. Kam Bruner stayed hot, going 3-for-4 with a RBI and a run.

Ithaca took down Whittier, 13-1, in game one at Memorial Field in Whittier. Ithaca erupted for 13 runs on 17 hits, including three home runs in the opener. Ten different players recorded at least one hit and eight drove one run or more. The Bombers also drew nine walks for the third time this season.
