McDaniel was clicking on all phases of the game, 22 hits, 5 hits allowed, no errors, in a 22-1 win over Penn State-York on Monday. Nick Valori and Kasey Nelson led all hitters with three hits eacy. Robbie Mays earned the win with six innings of two hit ball. Mays walked one and struck out seven.

Keuka earned their first wins of the season, sweeping Crown 16-7 and 4-1 on their annual spring trip to Florida. Dakota Skinner, Tyler Krowiak, Jake Redding, and John Rizzo each had three hits on the day for the Wolves. Skinner and Krowiak each scored two runs and drove in two runs in the wins. On the mound, Bryan Johnsen and Ryan Lawrence each earned the wins for Keuka. Junior Kevin Franz picked up the save in game one.
No. 18 Pacific Lutheran captured its third series sweep of the season against Northwest Conference rival Whitman, cruising to the 10-3 victory. The Lutes cranked out 20 hits and turned three double plays in the series finale to maintain a commanding lead atop the NWC standings. The Lutes never trailed in the game, scoring three runs early in the first inning and didn't stop there. Starting pitcher Cole Johnson threw a strong seven innings allowing only two earned runs and had seven strikeouts. Lee Larson closed the last two innings, allowing only one earned run on just two hits.
A nine-run fifth inning put MIT in front for good on as the Engineers came away with a 15-3 win over No. 22 ranked Western New England. The win is the third straight for the Engineers, with the game being played at Trinity College in Hartford. Garrett Greenwood was 3-for-5 with five runs batted in, while Max Lancaster was 2-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBI.
Lebanon Valley took the regular season series from Arcadia thanks to Chase Weik's two-out RBI-single in the bottom of the ninth that gave the Dutchmen a thrilling 7-6 victory at McGill Field. In the bottom of the ninth with the score tied at 6-6, Chris DeClerico began the inning by smashing a double to left center that hit of the glove of the left field Shawn Carew. Marshall Kiessling then sacrificed DeClerico over to third with a bunt, putting the game-winning run just 90 feet from home plate. Later in the inning, Weik hit the first pitch he saw down the right field line, plating DeClerico easily and giving LVC the thrilling, narrow win.
Mount Union scored a 10-2 win over Ohio Wesleyan in a non-conference game at 23rd Street Field in Alliance. The Purple Raiders got another strong starting pitching performance as sophomore left hander Nick Satovich went seven innings and did not allow an earned run on seven hits to pick up his first collegiate win. At the plate, Mount Union had 14 hits as Joey Keleman drove in three runs on three hits, Jimmy Scott had three hits while Angelo Cruz and Colin Scott (Richmond/Edison) each had two RBI.

The MIAA finished their opening weekend on Monday and Olivet did something that have not done in over a decade. Olivet snapped a 46-game losing streak to Adrian with a 4-2 win in today’s second game of a doubleheader. Olivet last beat Adrian on April 5, 2006. Only Kalamazoo escaped the weekend without a loss, defeating Albion 5-3, 15-4 with the final two games to be played on Tuesday.
La Roche won their seventh straight after earning a 7-4, 11-3 sweep at Marietta College. David Lemley was 7-for-9 with 8 RBI, a grand slam and two doubles. Eric white led the Pioneers with five hits on the day.
Senior Paul McDonough went 4-for-4, including two doubles and a home run, with five RBI to lead the Southern Maine Huskies to a 17-3 victory over the DePauw Tigers in non-conference action at Chain O Lakes Stadium. With the win, the Huskies finished their 11-game Florida trip with a 7-4 mark. The Tigers slipped to 12-4 on the season.
For the second straight game, Gustavus erased a late-inning deficit for a come-from-behind victory over Middlebury. The Gusties won 13-12 after trailing 10-6 to start the sixth inning, but a six-run frame gave the Black and Gold a lead it would not relinquish for their seventh straight victory. The Gusties are now 8-3, which marks the best start to a season since 2006 (8-3), along with the longest winning streak since 2008.
Jordan Kaplan's first career home run was a memorable one, as his walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the eighth inning gave Coe a 6-2 win over Nebraska Wesleyan in a game held over from Sunday. The finale of the series went to the Prarie Wolves as Nebraska Wesleyan plated two runs in the ninth to leave with a 7-6 win.
