After falling behind 9-0 after four innings, Delaware Valley stormed back with eight total runs over the fifth and sixth innings before tying the game in the eighth and winning 11-10 in ten innings at York College in a Middle Atlantic Conference crossover contest.

USMMA got a stellar performance from its pitching staff in the Mariners' 7-0 home win over John Jay College on Wednesday. Speaking of seven, it was seven different pitchers who tossed the combined shutout against the Bloodhounds. Merchant Marine with the win improved to 15-13 overall, while John Jay dropped to 4-22 in defeat. Pitching coach Lou Bernardi's staff tossed its third shutout of the season in dominant fashion to move the Mariners to a season-high two games over .500. Senior Grant Corb, classmate Billy Todd, freshman Michael Monkevich, classmate Jacob Syversen, junior Chris Klayer, senior Jared Johnson and sophomore Tommy Payton combined to hang nine zeros on the scoreboard, while striking out 12 John Jay batters.

Bethany Lutheran (9-10 overall, 5-3 UMAC) shut out Martin Luther (2-15, 2-5) by a score of 7-0 Friday afternoon at ISG Field. A leadoff triple from freshman Malachi Santiago and a single from classmate Aidan Russell gave the Vikings a 4-0 lead heading into the seventh, when junior RJ Brothen came on in relief of starting pitcher, senior Nick Shubert, who tossed a career-high six scoreless innings while allowing only one hit and striking out a career-best six en route to earning his first victory of the season. Brothen and freshman Carter Benz each threw a perfect frame with two strikeouts. Senior Alex Kreiling (Sartell, Minn.) threw a perfect ninth inning to close out the game.

A seven-run third inning allowed Washington & Jefferson to gain an early lead and complete the Presidents' Athletic Conference series sweep of Waynesburg University. The 10-1 win over Waynesburg University on Wednesday followed Sunday's 15-1 and 11-1 victories as W&J completed the three-game season sweep of the Yellow Jackets. The Presidents have won 15 straight games over the Yellow Jackets dating back to the start of the 2017 season. That is the longest active winning streak for W&J over any PAC opponent. W&J has completed three-game series sweeps of Waynesburg, Bethany and Chatham this season.The Presidents 12th straight win improves the Red and Black to 18-6 overall and 11-0 in the PAC while Waynesburg falls to 7-16 overall and 3-8 in the league. The Presidents were aided throughout the series by Waynesburg's ineffectiveness on the mound. The Yellow Jackets issued 15 walks in the series, which included eight free passes Wednesday.

On Wednesday afternoon, Vassar rolled to a 22-3 win over CCNY in non-conference play. The Brewers used four innings with five runs to secure the win and move to 10-13 overall, while the Beavers slipped to 3-15. 12 Vassar betters recorded hits as the Brewers set a team-high with 19. Pat Kerrigan (3-1) pitched 5.0 innings with seven hits, one run, one walk, and six strikeouts. Milano went 3-of-4 with two runs and four RBI, while Warren scored five runs.

Zach Morales and Chase Swain each drove in six runs as Penn State Abington defeated Muhlenberg College by the score of 24-9 in a non-conference contest on Tuesday afternoon at Alverthorpe Park. A 10 run fourth inning for Abington turned out to be the difference in the game. Leading 7-6 after Muhlenberg scored four runs in the top of the inning, the Nittany Lions extended their lead to 17-6 by innings end. Ryan McCarty set the tone for the inning as he led off with a solo home run; his second of the game. McCarty previously homered in the first inning. Today marked the fifth meeting between Abington and Muhlenberg since the start of the 2017 season. The Nittany Lions are now 4-1 versus the Mules in the all-time series.

Senior Isaac Blanford drove in the go-ahead runs in the top of the 10th inning to propel Nichols College team to a 13-11 win at Trinity (Conn.) College Wednesday afternoon. Senior DJ Caron picked up four hits – including a two-run single in the fourth – and scored three runs while sophomore Johnny Knox smacked a two-run home run and finished the day with three RBI as the Bison won their fifth in a row to even their mark at 11-11-1. Junior Will Kleinhenz notched three hits and drew a bases-loaded walk for Nichols, which pounded out 20 hits. Senior Victor Valentin ripped an RBI triple, and junior Brad Ellis and sophomore Brennan Hyde each collected an RBI single. Senior Brendan Duffy got the win in relief to move to 2-3 on the season. Freshman Sean Ryan worked the final two innings to earn his first collegiate save, allowing one run while striking out three.

Senior catcher Michael Thomas hammered a go-ahead three-run home run down the left field line in the bottom of the seventh inning, and that lifted The College of Wooster to a thrilling 8-6 win over Case Western Reserve University on Wednesday afternoon at Art Murray Field. Wooster senior Dylan Carr evened his record out at 2-2. The right-hander allowed one run on five hits in his three innings of work. Junior Christian Johnston (save 2) worked two scoreless innings, during which he struck out two. Dean Brown and Eli Westrick had two hits each for Wooster, which also saw Hines and senior Ben Gbur up their stolen bases totals to 17 and 16, respectively. Flynn Lenahan was the standout in CWRU's lineup, finishing 2-for-4 with two RBI.

No. 25 Shenandoah University ran its winning streak to four games Wednesday afternoon with an 8-4 non-league victory over Mary Washington. After Mary Washington (15-16) scored one run in the top of the first, Shenandoah (21-8-1) answered with a pair in the bottom of the frame and never trailed again. Henry Delavergne gave the Hornets that lead for good with his sixth home run of the season, a two-run shot to right center, to put SU up 2-1. Senior Calvin Pastel (5-0) took that lead and ran with it, tossing the first 8.0 innings and allowing one run on eight hits while striking out six. Sitting at 104 pitches following the eighth, Pastel turned it over to relievers Cade Templeton and Matt Barnes to finish it up. Barnes got the final three outs and struck out two.

Ferrum College posted a non-conference win this afternoon at home, beating North Carolina Wesleyan College 13-12 on a hit batsman with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th inning. Ferrum trailed 12-5 midway through the fourth inning before mounting a comeback. The Panthers scored three in the bottom of the fourth, two on Grayson Chitwood's RBI single and the other on Bryce Thacker's RBI single, to trim the lead to 12-8. Following three scoreless innings in the fifth, sixth and seventh frames, Ferrum scored four runs in the bottom of the eighth, including two on Nick Funk's RBI single up the middle and the game was tied at 12-12. Neither team could score a run in the ninth and the game went into extra innings. In the bottom of the 10th, Benjamin Thomas walked to load the bases, then pinch hitter Justin Brady was plunked by a pitch to force the game-winning run across the plate.

University of Scranton (19-5-1) scored 17 runs between the third and sixth innings and rolled to a 22-4 win over the Wilkes University Colonels (15-13) in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon at Bruggeworth Field in Wilkes-Barre. The 22 runs are a season-high and the most that the Royals have scored since a 29-11 victory over Marywood on March 26, 2019. The Royals broke the game open with the seven-run fifth as graduate student Connor Harding drove home a pair with a two-run single and Kirsten came through with an RBI double to go along with RBI singles from sophomore Jack Heineman and junior Justin Pinckert.

For the second time in eight days, the University of Rochester took down a nationally ranked Oswego State squad, defeating the Lakers 4-3 in eight innings on Wednesday at Oswego's Laker Baseball Field. The game was called after eight innings due to thunderstorms in the area. Rochester's win pushes the Yellowjackets win streak to 11 games and moves UR to 21-4 on the season. Oswego falls to 16-6 on the year. For the second night in a row, the Yellowjackets used a bullpen game, with seven pitchers being used in the victory. Only first-year Mark Aaronson tossed more than one inning, ending with three strikeouts over two innings of work. Starter Trevor Van Allen ended up being credited with the win, his fifth of the season.

A handful or crooked numbers paced Bethel University to a 6-2 series opening victory over Saint Mary's Wednesday afternoon. The visiting Cardinals forced a split taking game two 8-6 despite a ninth-inning rally from the Royals that came up just short. BU's top of the order accounted for most of the offensive production accounting for a combined four RBIs in game one. A ninth inning rally came up just short for the Royals as they stranded them loaded in the bottom of the ninth. That came after plating three pulling BU within two.

In a meeting of the two teams who call Stein Diamond home, the Brandeis University Judges pounded out a season-high 19 hits and scored 20 runs in a game for the second time this year as they defeated Lasell University, 20-6. With the win, the Judges improve to 13-7, while the Lasers fall to 11-14. Nine different Judges had hits in the contest, paced by graduate student 3B Victor Oppenheimer and sophomore 2B/SS Mike Dicenso, who each had four hits. Oppenheimer went 4-5 with a double, an RBI and three runs scored, while Dicenso was 4-6 with two runs scored. Grad student 1B/2B Mike Khoury was the game's top run-producer, going 2-3 with three runs scored and five RBI. Khoury had an RBI single in the third inning, was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the sixth and in seventh, he hit a three-run home run to right-center field. Khoury's homer was his team- and UAA-leading eighth of the year, but first since March 26th. It was the 26th long ball of his career, moving him within one of tying Brandeis's career record. Khoury also moved into fifth place on the Judges' career list for runs scored with 143 and into sixth on the career RBI list with 111.

Willamette University scored nine runs in the top of the eighth inning to break a 5-5 tie, as the Bearcats pulled away to defeat Bushnell University 14-5 on Wednesday at Hamlin Sports Park. The Bearcats held leads of 4-0 and 5-1 before the Beacons tied the score with two runs in the sixth and two more in the seventh. Willamette regained control in the top of the eighth, scoring seven of the nine runs with two outs. The Bearcats edged above the .500 mark with the win, as Willamette moved to 17-16 on the season, 2-0 against the Beacons. Bushnell dropped to 9-31 overall. The nine-inning game lasted four hours, including a 30-minute rain delay in the top of the seventh. Layton Wagner topped Willamette's offensive chart by going 3 for 5 with a double, two runs, and four RBIs. Trey Topping went 2 of 2 off the bench with a run scored and two RBIs. Luke Werkmeister-Martin finished 2 of 3 with a run and an RBI. Ryan Whithorn was 1 for 1 with a walk, a double, a run, and two RBIs ... all in the eighth inning.

Moravian University battled back to earn a non-conference victory over DeSales University, 6-5, in 11 innings on Wednesday evening, including graduate student first baseman Brett Moyer garnering his 100th career hit as a member of the Greyhounds. After a couple of walks to lead off the contest, junior designated hitter Derek Holmes drove in the first run of the game with an RBI single to center field. Moyer followed with a single to right field for an RBI for his 100th career hit in a Moravian uniform to give the Hounds a 2-0 lead. Two different Hounds recorded multi-hit performances in the game with Pow going 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored while Madigan turned in a 2-for-5 game with two stolen bases, a run scored and an RBI. Seven other Hounds produced a hit in the game and four of them also had an RBI. Moyer's lone hit on the night was all he needed to earn his 100th career hit donning a Greyhound uniform, becoming the 37th member of the baseball program to reach the milestone. Sophomore Aaron Flyte entered the game in the fifth inning and hurled six innings and allowed just one hit with three strikeouts to earn his second victory of the year.

A big offensive day for the Saint Vincent baseball team led it to its fourth straight sweep of a Presidents Athletic Conference opponent to extend its winning streak to 11 games. The Bearcat scored 21 runs in the doubleheader sweep of Franciscan University, winning the opener, 9-4, and the nightcap, 12-10. Jordan Sabol notched six total hits for the Bearcats in the doubleheader, including his first career home run - a grand slam. Sabol had four hits in the opener, helping lead the Bearcats back from a 4-0 deficit to the 9-4 victory. He followed that up with two more hits in the nightcap, including his granny, helping Saint Vincent cruise to the 12-10 win.

Sophomore Jonathan Wilson and freshman Zach Mooers each drove in three runs as the University of Southern Maine Huskies pounded out 13 hits, including four for extra bases, en route to a 17-4 win over the Colby College Mules Wednesday afternoon at Coombs Field. The game was called in the sixth due to poor weather conditions. Wilson was 1-for-3 including a two-run triple, while Mooers was 1-for-3 with an RBI double and a pair of RBI sacrifice fly balls. Senior Jason Komulainen and junior Tom Vesosky each had three hits, while sophomore Janek Luksza was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Senior James Sinclair picked up the win pitching 5.0 innings allowing two earned runs (four total) on seven hits and a pair of walks. The win marks the seventh straight for USM.

Springfield College plated five runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to rally from a four-run deficit for a 15-14 non-conference win over Elms at Archie Allen Field on Wednesday. Springfield has now won four of its last five outings to improve to 11-14. The Pride used nine pitchers in the win and was paced offensively by Cole Zalegowski, as he delivered three hits and three RBI in the victory. Springfield's lead was shortlived as the visitors responded with eight runs in the sixth inning, only to have a Noah Bleakley sacrifice fly and Zalegowski RBI single pull the Pride within 14-10 heading into the seventh. The Pride would then put together a spirited rally, producing five runs in the eighth, with DiMauro tying the game up as he crossed home plate on a wild pitch and Crynock accounting for the game-winning run after Tony Incontro drew a bases loaded walk.
