The Rams (15-21 overall, 10-11 MWC) claimed the series win over Beloit, 2-1, and joined a major log jam with five teams battling for the final two spots to the MWC Tournament going into the final weekend of the regular season. Miller (1-5) strengthened Cornell's postseason chances with a fine six-inning outing against the Buccaneers (15-21 overall). The junior left-hander yielded five hits and two runs, both unearned. Miller struck out six batters and left with a 3-2 lead.

Northwestern (Minn.) team made the short trip down Snelling Avenue as they squared off with Bethel University on Wednesday afternoon. The Eagles won the Snelling Showdown 13-5, thanks to an eight run fourth inning. In the bottom of the fifth, in a game that suddenly transitioned from a pitchers' duel to a shootout, the Royals scored a couple of runs to pull the game back to 10-4 in the Eagles' favor. However, once again, the Eagles responded. Cramer Hamilton and Payton Christenson each hit RBI singles in the top of the sixth to extend the lead. Bethel would get one run back in the sixth, but Keegan Vercoe's 15th homerun of the season in the top of the seventh would be the final run scored in the game and the Eagles won 13-5.

Decisive victories with one win to each side continued to be the storyline of the week for The College of Wooster, which bounced back from a 13-3 game-one loss at Wittenberg University to take Wednesday's nightcap at Carleton Davidson Stadium 13-7. Three Wittenberg home runs dented Wooster's chances in game one, as seven of the Tigers' 13 runs scored on them. Four came in on right fielder Connor O'Malley's fourth-inning grand slam, and that blast broke the game wide open at 9-1. Wooster (25-12, 10-6 North Coast Athletic Conference), which hit 25 wins for the 10th consecutive full season, scored in each of the first five innings in game two of the twin bill. Wittenberg made things interesting with a five-run last-chance, but the Tigers' rally stopped when catcher Cole Royer grounded out to Brown for the final out of the game.

Franklin (26-12, 11-5 HCAC) rallied from five runs down to take the opener 13-9. The Quakers (22-10, 11-5 HCAC) salvaged a split with an 8-4 win in game two. Sanders now sits at 27 stolen bases on the year, breaking the 34-year school record of 25 held by Dan Molden since 1998. Reinoehl nailed down his ninth save of the year in the opener, passing former teammate Nate Stonebraker's previous record of eight set back in 2019.

Franciscan hosted Chatham for PAC doubleheader on
Wednesday afternoon at Vaccaro Field. James Becker
would lead off the bottom of the 10th inning after he
gunned out a runner at home in the top of the 10th.
He would carry that momentum into a leadoff double.
Then Patrick Wallace tried to sacrifice bunt him over
to third, but he beat the throw to put runners at the
corners with no outs. Ryan Scavnicky would then
deliver a walk-off single up the middle that scored
Becker for a 5-4 Franciscan win.
