Susquehanna kept their season going on Tuesday afternoon with a win in the first Landmark Conference Tournament Play In Game under the conference's new format. The River Hawks earned the No. 4 seed in the regular season and hosted the No. 5 seed Drew for a spot in the double-elimination tournament this weekend to determine the Landmark Champions. After playing three closely fought games in the regular season, the River Hawks and Rangers provided another absolute classic contest, going to extra innings for the second time in 2024 and seeing SU once again claim a win in the bottom of the 11th inning, winning 8-7.

In the early innings it looked like potential smooth sailing for the River Hawks as they ran out to a big lead. They scored five runs in the first two innings, teeing off on the Drew starter with six hits. Buoyed by a three-RBI double in the 5th and a two-run home run of their own in the 6th, Drew was able to rattle off seven unanswered runs over four innings to take a 7-5 lead. Vincent Mariella gave SU some incredible work on the mound in the final innings, entering to get the last out in the top of the 8th and then striking out three in the top of the 9th. However, the Drew pitching also kept SU off the board and the game went to extras. Each team went down in order in the 10th inning, with Ryan Redmond entering the game to pitch for the River Hawks. He allowed just one baserunner in the top of the 11th on a hit-by-pitch but struck out the next two batters to end the inning. All the drama culminated in the bottom of the 11th, as Michael Biuso walked it off with a single up the middle, allowing Michael Mancuso to round third and slide in at home to score the winning run and punch SU's ticket to weekend tournament.

Wheaton (Mass.) ended the 2024 season for WPI, as the fifth-seeded Engineers fell on the road at No. 4 Wheaton in the NEWMAC Tournament play-in game. Wheaton's Ryan McCarroll improved to 7-2 on the season, throwing five innings in the win, allowing two runs on eight hits with six strikeouts. Jake DelMonte and Liam Keblin drove in runs in the loss.

Nine unanswered Suffolk runs over the final three innings pushed third seeded Suffolk past sixth seed Wentworth on the opening day of the 2024 CCC Tournament Tuesday afternoon at East Boston Memorial Park. Alex Sorenti-Burns' bats came up big for the blue-and-gold in the home half of the sixth in a 3-3 game With the bases chucked, the grad student laced a two-out, bases clearing triple down the right field line to restore the advantage for hosts, 6-3. An inning later, Suffolk stretched its lead even further. Roberts wore a pitch with the bases loaded to collect an RBI before Gilbride emptied the bags with a grand slam. Sam Armbruster produced a one-run single in the scoring frenzy as well that turned it into a 12-3 Suffolk score. Jack Raimo came in and shoved 2.0 scoreless innings to lock up the CCC Tournament win.

Sixth-seeded Westminster College hosted the 3rd-seeded Mississippi University for Women Owls as the road team in Tuesday's SLIAC Quarterfinals. This was due to MUW not being able to host a postseason game this year or next year as part of their deal to become a part of the Saint Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Despite being the road team on the scoreboard, the Blue Jays were able to come out on top by a score of 7-5 behind their two 9th-inning runs. Greenville also were Tuesday winners with a 5-3 win over Fontbonne.
