Making their 29th program appearance in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament, No. 6 seed Carthage College defeated the No. 3 seed Illinois Wesleyan 7-4. With 10 strikeouts in the contest, Bryce Schaum became the new career leader in program history, driving his career total to 237. Schaum has 113 strikeouts this season, the second-best single-season record for Carthage. Augustana scored four runs in the ninth and eventually held on to defeat the North Central Cardinals 8-7 on Wednesday to advance in the CCIW Tournament.With the win, the Vikings improve to 25-15 on the season and now enter the double-elimination portion of the CCIW Tournament.

In the opening round of the Northern Athletics Collegiate College Tournament, Concordia (Wisc.) completed an epic comeback over the Eagles of Edgewood in 10 innings, scoring eight of their nine runs in the final three innings to secure the 9-6 victory. With six outs remaining, Concordia embarked on their comeback effort, as they scored two runs in the inning. The top of the ninth started with a double from senior Cole Aguirre. In the next at-bat, senior Jimmy Juergensen drilled an inside pitch down the right field line, with the ball landing just inside of the foul pole for a two-run home run, as CUW now trailed by just one. Down to their final out in the top of the ninth, still behind a run, Connor Lasch delivered another clutch hit, driving a double down the left field line, scoring Flynn from second, leveling the score at six apiece. Sophomore Matt Miller would walk to load the bases in the tenth inning, bringing up Kyle Flynn with two outs. Flynn then lined a ball to the left-center gap, dropping and getting by the outstretched dive of the center fielder to score three runs and give Concordia their first lead of the game at 9-6. Rockford was a 10-4 winner over Marian. Offensively, the Regents put on a show by belting 14 hits and scoring 10 runs. Kadin Bergstrom blasted a pair of home runs in the third and fifth innings to help lift the Regents to victory. Starting pitcher Paul Turelli went 6.1 innings and allowed just one earned run before turning the game over to the Regent bullpen. Alex Easton and Jared Herzog took it from there, holding the Sabres scoreless and sealing the victory. The win snaps a ten-game losing streak to Marian and gives Rockford its first postseason win since 2010 (8-5 vs. CUW).

Immaculata University's bats came alive as the defeated Cabrini 34-11 at Cabrini-Carroll Field in the first round of the Atlantic East Conference Tournament. The 34 runs set a new program record for runs in a game, breaking the previous record of 29 set back in 2021. Joey Wright led the Mighty Macs offensively going 6-for-7 with six runs scored, a double, three home runs, and eight RBIs. His three home runs tied the program record of home runs in a single game tying Richard Fontanillas who hit three home runs against Cabrini on May 3, 2019. His six hits today, ties his own program record of six set vs Neumann on April 11, 2023. He also broke program record of hits in a season today break Josh Crowding's record of 61 in 2023. Wright now has 65 hits on the season. Marymount took the first game of the Atlantic East Conference Tournament on Wednesday over the Griffins of Gwynedd Mercy, 8-5. With the win, the Saints move into the winners' bracket and will play Immeculata.

Junior outfielder Drew Garth knocked an RBI single to deep left center to help lift Washington & Jefferson College to a 6-5 walk-off win over sixth-seeded Thiel College Wednesday afternoon in Game A of the PAC Tournament. W&J will face Waynesburg in their next tournament game. Senior pitcher Nick Guidas fired eight shutout innings Wednesday afternoon while junior batterymate Sam DiStefano went 3 for 4 with two doublesto help lead Grove City College to a 4-0 victory over Westminster in the opening round of the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship Tournament at Ross Memorial Park. The second-seeded Wolverines will now face No. 4 Allegheny at 6 p.m. Thursday in a winner's bracket game at Ross Memorial Park. Guidas (6-3) struck out eight men and allowed three singles in his eight innings of work. Junior Evan Umland struck out two men in a perfect ninth inning. Fourth-seeded Allegheny College opened the 2024 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship Tournament with a 4-2 victory over No. 3 Waynesburg University on Wednesday evening at Ross Memorial Park. Following the win, the Gators (26-13) will now face second-seeded Grove City College at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, in their second matchup of the tournament. The Wolverines (25-12) began their postseason by defeating No. 5 Westminster College on Wednesday by a 5-0 score.

Top-seeded UMass Boston and second-seeded Eastern Connecticut State Univrsity were both victorious on the opening day of the 2024 Little East Conference Championship Tournament, which saw two of the three scheduled games played due to inclement weather. Game 3 of the tournament featuring third-seeded UMass Dartmouth and fourth-seeded University of Southern Maine was pushed back to Thursday at noon. Beacons' sophomore outfielder Justin Gouveia added five of the Beacons' 11 runs in their round one, 11-3 victory in the 2024 Little East Conference Tournament over the Rhode Island College Anchormen from the opening game at Monan Park in a rainy Wednesday afternoon. Junior lefty Dan Driscoll provided solid pitching in his first start in over a month and senior third baseman Tiernan Lynch helped the second-seeded Eastern Connecticut State University baseball team to an early lead with a third-inning three-run home run in an eventual 8-5 victory over fifth-seeded Keene State College on the opening day of the 2024 Little East Conference tournament Wednesday evening at Monan Park.

Fourth-seeded Farmingdale State hosted No. 5 Purchase College on Wednesday evening in the first round of the 2024 Skyline Conference Championship and cruised to a 12-0 victory behind a nine-run sixth inning. The Rams have advanced to the four-team, double elimination portion of the tournament and will play the top-seed and hosts No. 1 St. Joseph's-Long Island on Friday. In the bottom of the sixth, the Rams sent 14 batters to the plate and scored nine runs, including six with two outs. Farmingdale State added a run in the eighth on another Deutsch RBI single as they went on for the 12-0 victory. For the first time since 2007, Manhattanville University has advanced past the opening round of the Skyline Conference Championship Tournament, as the sixth-seeded Valiants eliminated No. 3 Maritime on Wednesday night by a final of 3-2. The win sends Manhattanville into the four-team double elimination finals starting on Friday, where they will take on No. 2 USMMA in their first contest. After playing a key part in the team's first run of the night, Chris Goohs delivered in the seventh with a leadoff solo homer to left to begin the seventh to put the Valiants back in front, 3-2. The deep fly, the sophomore's fourth of the season, proved to be the game-deciding blow.

Kalamazoo College began postseason play with a 4-1 MIAA Tournament win over Alma on Wednesday. Jacob Davis (7-2) escaped jams in the second and fourth innings and allowed just one run on four hits and a walk in seven innings with five strikeouts. Brenden Oprinski came on for the two-inning save (7) by allowing just one base runner on a walk with a strikeout. Cooper Mills went 4-5 with two RBI and a stolen base. Logan Lockhart also picked up two RBI with a walk. Robert Newland was on base three times with a hit, a walk, and a hit-by-pitch. Lukas Bolton and Tanner Hawkins each had a hit and drew a walk. The No. 1-seeded Hornets improve their record to 30-9 and advance to the winner's bracket, while the No. 4-seeded Scots drop to 24-17 and head to the loser's bracket. This is the third time in program history that Kalamazoo has eclipsed 30 wins and the first time in back-to-back seasons. Adrian College hosted Hope College on Wednesday afternoon in the opening round of the MIAA Tournament. Adrian moves to the Winner's Bracket Final after defeating Hope, 7-4. Wednesday's win marked the 27th victory of the season for the Bulldogs. Jakob Charles took his start on the mound into the ninth inning. Charles completed eight innings where he allowed four runs on six hits with three strikeouts. Luc St. Antoine came on in the ninth to close out the game.
