Catholic came into Sunday's game against Wilkes looking to salvage the third game of the series against the Colonels. Dean dominated in their complete game victory versus Curry, winning a final score of 8-3. Dean now moves to 5-13 (2-2) on the season, while the Colonels move to 5-11 (1-3). The Bulldogs jumped out to an early lead in the first inning and extended the Bulldogs' lead to 5-1 after two innings. In the third inning, Dean added two more runs to further solidify their advantage. Curry was held scoreless in the second, third, fourth, and fifth innings and Dean's starting pitcher, Nick Swain, kept the pressure on. Swain ended with the win, tossing six innings, allowing just one run on four hits and five strikeouts. In the fourth, Favata singled to score Luke Fahey, and Dean's lead reached 8-1. While the Bulldogs' offense slowed down in the later innings, the game was already well in-hand. Curry tried to mount a comeback in the seventh and eighth innings but was thwarted as Tyler Giambra and Danny Goyette finished the job on the mound for Dean. Jadon Murakami led Dean's efforts offensively, fnishing the day 3-5 with two runs scored.
U.S. Merchant Marine outscored Yeshiva by a combined 33-2 margin to open Skyline play with a doubleheader sweep on Senior Day. The Mariners took the opener by a 16-1 margin before registering a 17-1 victory in game two. USMMA improved to 9-8 (2-0 Skyline), while Yeshiva fell to 0-15 (0-10 Skyline). Three players registered three-hit games as the Mariners used a seven-run fifth to roll past Yeshiva, 16-1, in the opener. Sophomore Ricardo Olivares finished 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and three runs scored, while senior Jack Millen was 3-for-4 with two RBI and sophomore Tommy Chiappetti went 3-for-3 with two runs. The Mariners collected seven extra-base hits, including two home runs, and used a six-run third to complete the sweep with a 17-1 victory. Millen went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and two runs, while Garrett Clapsaddle also homered and finished 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs. Christian Gamez went 3-for-3 with three RBI and Chiappetti was 2-for-2 with two RBI and three runs.
Moravian topped host Juniata, 11-3, Sunday to win the weekend Landmark Conference series, 2-1. The Greyhounds took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning and added runs to their at-bats in the sixth to reach 6-0. The Eagles got onto the scoreboard with two runs in the bottom of the sixth to cut the score to 6-2. Moravian countered with five runs in the top of the seventh to push the lead to 11-2. Juniata finished off the scoring with a run in the bottom of the ninth inning. Moravian collected 11 hits to go with 11 walks and two hit batters. Troy Rabosky went 3-for-5 with three RBIs. Freshman Andrew Sagrestano made the start on the mound and recorded eight strikeouts in six innings of action while sophomore Wes Griffith pitched an inning. Senior Chris Medei struck out two batters in one inning of work while freshman Luke Piripavel had one strikeout in the ninth.
Grinnell not only won the series clincher against Illinois College - the Pioneers did so in record-shattering fashion. The Pioneers snapped three program records, as well as one Midwest Conference mark, as they blasted the Blueboys 30-15 Sunday afternoon. Grinnell has posted double-digit scoring outputs in four of its last five games. School records came for runs in a game, RBIs in a game (28) and total bases in a game (46). The RBI total is also a new MWC mark, breaking the previous record of 27 by Ripon College in a 2023 game. The new school marks break Grinnell's previous records of 22 runs (four times, most recently in 2022), 21 RBIs (twice, most recently in 2023) and 45 total bases (in 2009). The run total is also second-highest in MWC history and trails only the mark of 32 established by Ripon in 2002, and the total bases total is just four shy of the league record. Additionally, Grinnell's 24 hits and six homers both rank second in program history and 52 at-bats are fourth all-time. Individually, Mac McCain's '25 eight RBIs and the five runs scored by Connor Goodson '26 and Ethan Crawford '25 all rank second in GC history. Goodson's two homers rank sixth, and two doubles by Crawford and McCain are eighth. Ben Skiles '28 and McCain each scored four runs, 10th all-time.
Pacific recorded a season-high 17 hits to roll past Whitworth 14-7 Sunday afternoon. Sophomore Benjamin Lewis was 4-for-5 with a home run, three runs and two RBIs in the series clinching victory. Trailing 6-5, Lewis scored the tying run on a Trevor Kazahaya single to center field in the bottom of the fifth inning. Vincent Lagatta then scored the go-ahead run on a Colby Podratz single to left field. The Boxers scored seven runs in the fifth to take a 12-6 lead. Matt Gibbs delivered the biggest blow. With two outs and the bases loaded, the senior tripled to center field to knock in three runs. After allowing four runs in the first two innings, freshman pitcher Nicholas Saelens settled in to give Pacific seven innings and improve to 3-3 on the season.
Improving to 3-0 in College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin play, North Central (Ill.) won the game in the bottom of the ninth for the second straight night as Caleb Coberley drew a bases loaded hit by pitch to score John Michael Scumaci, defeating Augustana College, 4-3, on Sunday night at Zimmerman Stadium. Payton Diaz posted a 1-2-3 inning in the eighth before working around two singles in the ninth, thanks to a popped-up bunt from the Vikings, which led to a double play to end the top half of the inning. Scumaci drew a lead-off walk to begin the bottom half of the ninth inning. Austin Weinke and Henry Saul were each intentionally walked to load the bases with two outs for Coberley. A bender from the Viking hurler caught a piece of Coberley's arm as Scumaci scored the winning run to give North Central a 4-3 victory over Augustana. Scumaci drove in three runs, scoring twice to pace the Cardinal offense. AJ Kutcher threw six innings, allowing two runs with four strikeouts in his start. Diaz earned his second win, allowing just one run over the game's final three innings. Adam Bendoraitis suffered the loss for the Vikings.
Puget Sound's bats fell silent as the Loggers struggled to generate offense in a 10-0 loss to Lewis & Clark today at Jerry Gatto Field. In game two, the Logger offense unraveled a wild sixth-inning avalanche Saturday as Puget Sound plated 17 runs en route to an 18-6 win. In the opener, Puget Sound (12-9, 5-4 NWC) put runners on early, but the big hit never came. The Loggers managed just six hits, all singles, and stranded seven runners on base. Leading just 1-0 entering the bottom of the fifth in game two, the Loggers (13-9) suddenly found themselves trailing 4-1 after Will Heron launched a three-run homer for the Pioneers. The shot was Heron's second of the game. However, seven Pioneer pitchers combined to allow 18 runs, 11 walks, five hit batters, for a total of 196 pitches in the game. Lucas Brennan led the offensive barrage for Puget Sound, going 3-for-5 with six RBIs, including a go-ahead two-run homer and a bases-clearing double later in the inning. The sixth inning alone saw 17 runs on six hits, 10 walks, four hit batters, and three wild pitches. The Loggers sent 23 batters to the plate. Charlie Deggeller added three hits and reached base four times, scoring twice and driving in two. Jonah Velasco chipped in a 2-for-2 day with a pair of RBIs and a sacrifice fly. On the mound, five Puget Sound arms divided the work. Reliever Braden Blackwell (1-0) earned the win, despite allowing a three-run homer in the fifth. Starter Preston Crockett tossed two solid innings to open.
Farmingdale State ran its winning streak to four-consecutive games on Sunday, as the Rams opened Skyline Conference play with a doubleheader sweep over visiting Mount Saint Vincent. FSC won the first game by a 3-0 score, with senior right-handed pitcher Johnny Dougherty setting the school career shutout record in the process, before besting the Dolphins in the nightcap, 10-3. Dougherty's 79-pitch (55 strikes), complete-game two-hitter in the opener against UMSV (11-7, 2-4 Skyline), was his fourth shutout in a green and white uniform. Dougherty faced just one batter over the minimum in the seven-inning victory, walking one hitter and striking out eight, while not allowing any Dolphins runners past first base. He carried a no-hitter two batters into the fourth inning on a clean single to left-center field, before scattering a left-side single in the sixth frame and a one-out walk in the seventh on his only three-ball count of the afternoon. Kaolis Delacruz scored the first run of game two in the first inning on a pinch-hit single to center field by junior James Manzella, with the Dolphins scoring twice in the top of the fourth to take a one-run lead. From there, Farmingdale State plated nine runs across the next three innings (three in the fourth; two in the fifth; four in the sixth) to take full control on its way to the sweep.

New England College, playing as the home team, won 8-1 at Mitchell College in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action on Sunday afternoon at Alumni Field in New London, Connecticut. The 'Grims got on the board first in the bottom of the second when NEC junior designated hitter Isaias Nuño hit an RBI single to right center to drive in junior outfielder Harold Martinez, taking a 1-0 lead. In the bottom of the fourth, the Pilgrims took advantage of a throwing error by the Mariners as Martinez and junior right-fielder Ryan Cote came around to score, giving them a 3-0 lead. Already up 3-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Nuño stepped to the plate with the bases loaded and again singled to right center, clearing the bases as Cote, freshman third baseman Jaken Pellerin and freshman centerfielder Ben Beaudoin all crossed home plate to blow the game open at 6-1. In the bottom of the sixth, the 'Grims added two more as junior second baseman Yeri Ramos hit an RBI single followed by Cote drawing a bases loaded walk.
Husson split a non-conference doubleheader with Lesley on Sunday afternoon to take three out of four for the weekend series, dropping game one 2-1, before bringing the bats to life to take the series finale 9-1 at Minuteman High School. Lesley (5-11) rode the back of a complete-game from Andrew Gryniewicz and got two unearned runs off of Husson (7-8) in the third inning to pick up the game one victory. In the weekend's finale, Husson (8-8) got the bats going, while limiting Lesley (5-12) to just two hits to come away with the series win.
LeTourneau stayed hot at the plate and secured a series win over Mary Hardin-Baylor with a 12-7 victory on Sunday afternoon at Red Murff Field. LeTourneau (11-12, 3-1 ASC) has won six consecutive series over Mary Hardin-Baylor (13-8, 1-3 ASC) dating back to 2020. After dropping Friday's series opener, LeTourneau took the final three games of the ASC series. The YellowJackets have won five of the last six games. The YellowJackets scored double-digit runs for the second time in the series and the eighth time this season. Isaac Price went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs, while Austin Wiederhold, Dane Jones, and Luke Land all had two hits each. LeTourneau totaled 12 hits. Will Podsednik and Clayton Holt combined for 6.2 innings out of the bullpen and limited Mary Hardin-Baylor to two runs on three hits. Holt struck out six in his three innings of work.
Penn College knocked off Saint Elizabeth, 14-8, in a nonconference game Sunday. The Wildcats won their fifth-straight game and improved to 11-8, while the Eagles fell to 11-12. After Shawn Townsend's RBI single in the first gave PCT an early lead, SEU scored five runs in the ensuing three innings to lead 5-1. Penn College took the lead for good with five runs in the fourth and at least one run in every inning after. Anthony Barbella's double, Logan Hinnershitz' single, Brandon Shane's double, a Matt Munoz single, and an error accounted for Penn College's runs in the fourth. Jaydon Goebel's single, and Hinnershitz' sac fly, in the fifth gave the Wildcats an 8-5 lead before Townsend's single in the sixth, Ethan Stahl's single in the seventh, and Goebel's sac fly in the eighth increased PCT's lead to 11-5. The Eagles plated three runs in the eighth before Penn College matched it with three in the ninth – on RBI walks from Townsend, Goebel, and Barbella.
Junior Aidan Vining tossed a complete-game one-hitter to send the Johnson and Wales to an 11-0 win over St. Joseph's (Maine) Sunday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex. The Woburn, Massachusetts native and two-time GNAC Pitcher of the Year fanned 12 in just seven innings of work to improve to 3-0 on the season and give the Wildcats their ninth win in 10 games. Senior Trevor Juan continued to rake since rejoining the lineup against Marietta on March 13, going 3-for-5 with a two-run double and a two-run walk-off jack in the seventh. Senior Xavier Botelho drove in the only run JWU would need in the second with a single to right that plated Juan. Juan's RBI double in the third made it 3-0 before a run-scoring single by senior Owen Davis pushed the lead to four. In the sixth, Davis brought in two more with a single to center which give JWU a 6-0 lead. A five-run seventh was highlighted by a two-run double off the bat of freshman Jeff Valdez Jimenez and Juan's third round tripper of the season.
Texas Lutheran defeated Southwestern 16-6 in seven innings on Sunday at Katt-Isbel Field to complete the three-game series sweep. The Bulldogs improve to 20-7 on the season and 13-5 in SCAC play. Kash Durkin led the Bulldogs offense, going 4-for-4 with two doubles, four RBI, and scoring three runs. Brayden Sprencel, Cooper Jen, and Chase Bourgeois each had two hits and two RBI on the afternoon with Jen and Bourgeois scoring three runs each. Tied 4-4, the Bulldogs bats came alive in the sixth, sending 15 batters to the plate to score 11 runs on eight hits to take a 15-4 lead. Triston McGowan pitched six solid innings to earn the win, allowing four runs (two earned) on four hits and four walks and striking out four. Vlario Prado pitched the final inning, allowing two runs on two hits.
Seniors Luke Piazza and Preston Lau both collected three hits, as Willamette picked up a series-ending, run-rule victory over the visiting Lutes of Pacific Lutheran University, 11-0, Sunday afternoon at Roy Helser Field on the campus of Linfield University. Lau, fellow senior Drew Baskin, and junior Nate Hamburger each hit two-run home runs for the Bearcats. Meanwhile, graduate student Jackson Garrett pitched 6.2 innings allowing five hits en route to picking up the shutout victory, which is his second win of the season. Along with Piazza and Lau, Baskin, Hamburger, and sophomore Carter Stoltz also collected two hits apiece. Baskin drove in a team-high three runs, while Lau, Piazza, and Hamburger all collected two RBIs on the afternoon.
Monmouth rallied from four runs down to beat Lawrence 10-6 on Sunday, winning the series. The Fighting Scots (6-13, 2-3) won the final two games of the series against last year's MWC regular season champions. "The guys never gave up today and the dugout was loud all game," said head coach Alan Betourne. "We had some good at bats and were able to cash in. To beat a good team like that we aren't going to complain at all." Lawrence scored four runs in the top of the first against Monmouth starter Roy Ralston and 2 more in the second to push the lead to 6-2. A one-out single by Monmouth's Raul Guillermo netted him his 113th career RBI, tying the career record set by Ryan Stubler from 2005-2008 and comes a day after Guillermo tied the career HR record. From this point it was all Scots who took the lead in a five run seventh. Owen Wolfe kept the Vikings off the board in the eighth and Nick Villa closed out the game in the ninth. Ralston settled in after the first inning and tied his career high with eight strikeouts over six innings of work while Wolfe (2-1) picked up the win.
St. John Fisher ended a soggy weekend with a 15-3 victory over Keuka in a game shortened to five innings by weather at Dugan Yard. The Cardinals salvaged the weekend series with the victory, avoiding a three-game sweep to improve to 9-11 overall (4-2 Empire 8). Keuka fell to 8-9 overall and 2-4 in the Empire 8. The Cardinals fell behind 2-0 in the top of the first inning but came right back and pounced on the Wolves in the bottom half of the opening frame. Keuka starting pitcher Hunter Corkran could only record one out before being pulled, as Jackson Frey started the half inning with a homer to right, Mario Cubello singled to left and Jack Griffin belted a two-run homer to right to give the Cardinals a 3-2 lead. Jordan Perry came across to score on a fielding error later in the inning to make it 4-2. The Cardinals scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth to put the game out of reach, with three coming on Perry's three-run blast to right field. Benjamin Huckans, who entered the game in relief of starter Patrick McGuire, allowed only one hit and walked three batters while working three scoreless innings. He earned credit for the victory, his first of the year.
Chicago capped off their first UAA series since 1997 with a four-game sweep of Brandeis on Sunday afternoon as they took down the Judges 16-1 in the series finale. The UChicago offense scored in four of the first five innings in the game including two Max Wiesner home runs. The Maroons weren't done, in the sixth inning they added four more runs to stretch the lead to 16-1. Braden Jirovec and Matthew Wills each ripped RBI singles into right field. Then, back to back hit by pitches by Eddie McCarthy and Brady Miller would cap off the 16-1 victory for UChicago. Braden Jirovec led the team with four hits and three runs scored, and Max Wiesner added the first multi home run game for UChicago since Jack Goldstein on March 30, 2024, exactly one year ago to the day. Erik Rindner, Brady Miller, and Jack Sharp also added multi-hit days for the Maroons.
St. Thomas Celts completed a three-game conference sweep of Schreiner with an 8-4 victory Sunday afternoon at Don Sanders Stadium. The wins improve UST to 13-10 overall and 11-6 in SCAC play. The Celts set the tone early with a five-run first inning. Dillon McKee delivered a two-run single up the middle to score senior third baseman Jarod Smith and Ryan Ratajczak. Dylan Lamb followed with an RBI double before Gabe Garner and Sam Lampson added run-scoring hits to cap the outburst. St. Thomas added insurance runs in the third and fifth innings. Garner drove in two more runs to finish 3-for-4 with three RBIs, capping a strong series where he went 7-for-12 with six RBIs. Schreiner mounted late rallies in the seventh and eighth innings, but the Celts turned three double plays - including a game-ending 6-4-3 turn by sophomore shortstop Eduardo Tamez, junior second baseman AJ Gonzales and McKee - to secure the victory.
Junior A.J. Llorente pitched 7 2/3 innings of scoreless baseball, allowing just three hits, and sophomore Eric MacCluen had three hits and scored two runs to lead Lycoming to a 5-0 win over Drew, as Lycoming completed the three-game series sweep at Brandon Park. Llorente (2-1) allowed just three hits and a walk, striking out four during his time on the mound, throwing 98 pitches before yielding to first-year Eddie Weindel, who got the last out of the eighth inning. Sophomore Grayson Rinker finished the game, allowing a walk in a scoreless ninth, striking out one. The Warriors improved to 14-9 overall and 6-2 in the Landmark Conference, a half-game ahead of Wilkes, which is 13-7 and 7-3, at the top of the conference standings after a third of the conference season has been completed. First-year Kaden Shay went 2-for-3 with a RBI and senior Danny DeLucas extended his hitting streak to a school-record 19 games with a 2-for-5 game with an RBI. Llorente was also 1-for-1 with a run, a RBI and two walks.
Elmira College Soaring Eagles split Sunday's doubleheader with the Utica Pioneers at Holding Point Recreation Complex. Elmira dropped the opener 12-11 and won the nightcap 10-5. In the opener, Utica pulled ahead 10-8 with a two-run homer in the top of the sixth but Lees responded with a two-run shot of his own, once again tying the score at 10. An RBI single from Franky Milone put EC ahead 11-10 in the bottom of the sixth. Utica responded with a pair in the top of the seventh to squeak out a one-run win, 12-11. The Purple & Gold struck for four runs in the first inning, jumping out to a 4-0 lead. Utica would respond with four runs in the second, tying the score at four. An RBI single from Michael Flint put the Pioneers ahead 5-4 in the third but the Pioneers' offense was stifled the rest of the way by the Elmira pitching staff. Elmira outscored Utica 5-1 the rest of the way.
