Performances that saw a conference tournament record nine RBIs, 15 strikeouts and three homers with a .500 average captured the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Div. III honors for the week of April 28-May 4.
HITTER OF THE WEEK
Johns Hopkins University (Maryland) junior Jacob Harris helped lead his team to a third straight conference title by being retired only three times in 13 at bats. Harris hit .769 (10-13) with seven runs scored three homers, 13 RBIs, a double, a triple and a walk. Harris hit a pair of homers and tied a record by driving home nine in the conference tournament championship game.
Honorable Mention Hitter: George Betevis, Sr., OF, Benedictine University (Illinois) matched a conference record by hitting three homers in a non-conference win and then was near impossible to retire over four conference games, batting .571 (16-28) with nine doubles, 13 runs scored and 13 RBIs.

PITCHERS OF THE WEEK
Salve Regina University (Rhode Island) right-hander Brayden Clark struck out a career high 15 batters in a four-hit complete game shutout. Clark faced just three batters over the minimum in the win.
Honorable Mention Pitcher: Baldwin Wallace University (Ohio) junior Brit Kostura threw a no-hitter in a win that secured a series sweep and the third seed in the conference tournament. Kostura logged the fifth no-hitter in program history by walking three and striking out seven, facing 29 hitters.
ROOKIES OF THE WEEK
Nichols College (Massachusetts) freshman first baseman Collin Harty hit .500 (9-for-18) with three homers and 13 RBIs. Harty was tough to retire in a doubleheader sweep, finishing 5-for-8 with two doubles, two homers and 10 RBIs to wrap up the second seed in the conference tournament.

Founded in 1962, the NCBWA is dedicated to the advancement of college baseball. Membership is open to writers, broadcasters, and publicists of the sport. Members receive a membership card, directory, newsletter updates, and official votes in the Dick Howser Player of the Year Award, Regional Player of the Year, and NCBWA All-America voting. The NCBWA also sponsors preseason All-America awards, publication contests, and writing contests.
