Game two saw the hard-throwing senior Connor Podeszwa take over on the mound with his best stuff at his fingertips. The senior starter suffered from an early hiccup resulting in two runs for the Panthers, but quickly put the incident behind him to resume his domination on the mound. Podeszwa, clearly feeling comfortable, pitched 8.0 complete innings for the winning decision. It was an incredible outing, as shown by the emphatic fist pump the starter displayed after getting the third out in the eighth. Derek Desmarais came on for the second time in one day and pitched a clean ninth inning. Tufts added some insurance with RBIs from Lysko and Brala to pump their lead up to 6-2, and would secure the win behind Desmarais' strong close to the ballgame. They already qualified for the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament, their first since 2021. Redlands, however, came back in the bottom of the seventh with three runs in game one, again all came with two outs. Rylan Morris was the one who started the rally with an RBI-triple into right center that allowed Mason Chetcuti, who singled, to score. Tyler Preece kept the momentum going with a single back up the middle to tie the game at six. Following a Mark Kirkland double that moved Preece to third, Cell had his second two-out RBI as he chopped a ball to shortstop that was hit too softly to make a play on as Preece scored what would be the game-winning run. The Bulldogs fell behind 8-0 after five innings before scoring their first run of the second game as La Verne salvage one win of the series.

Mary Washington took home a thrilling victory over No. 9 Salisbury on Saturday afternoon in Fredericksburg, Va., 4-3. In the sixth, once the Eagles loaded the bases with no outs, George Rizzo lifted a ball towards the Eagles' dugout on the first base line that was deep enough for Noah Roots to think about scoring. Roots attempted to score from third, but wisely put on the brakes once the first baseman caught the ball in foul territory. But with Roots' fake-out, Salisbury's first baseman dropped the baseball on the exchange, allowing Roots to beat the throw with a head first dive into home to put UMW in front, 4-3. And once the inning ended, Matthew Boyd's day on the bump was finished for UMW as the righty polished off another excellent performance after tossing six innings of three-run ball. Boyd yielded six hits and one walk on 73 pitches to put himself in line for his third win of the season. Connor Hassan collected his sixth save of the season to save the day. Hassan walked the first batter he faced, then got a ground out to put runners on second and third with an out. An intentional walk loaded the bases and then on the next pitch forced a double play to end the game.

He allowed just one earned run on seven hits and one walk while striking out four Illinois College batters. Harvey Pena provided two innings of perfect relief, walking one and striking out one to close out the victory. Ben Schweit was the story of game two, delivering a dominant performance on the mound. The Beloit pitcher went the full nine innings, allowing just four hits and, remarkably, issuing zero walks while striking out two. He efficiently navigated the Illinois College lineup, needing only 99 pitches to secure the shutout victory and keep the visitors off balance all afternoon.

Closing out the regular season with a doubleheader sweep, 3-2 and 5-4, of North Park University, North Central (Ill.) won two one-run games against the Vikings, highlighted by quality pitching and two home runs from Parker Wyatt. The Vikings opened the day with two runs in the top of the first inning, thanks to two hits and two walks. The Cardinal defense turned a double play behind AJ Kutcher, who worked out of the jam. After Yuhki Yamada reached on a fielding error, Wyatt crushed his first home run of the day into the win and over the left field fence to knot the game at 2-2. Both starting pitchers settled in, not allowing a run until the sixth inning. Wyatt led off the bottom of the sixth with a double down the left field line. John Michael Scumaci moved Wyatt to third on a sacrifice bunt before Caleb Coberely plated Wyatt on a sacrifice fly to put North Central in front, 3-2. Jaedin Kotckei relieved Kutcher in the seventh and did not allow a Viking runner to touch third base to earn his second save of the season and secure the 3-2 victory in game one. In game two, North Central opened a 5-0 lead and held on as North Park could only muster single runs in four innings. Wyatt drove in a game-high two runs at the plate for the Cardinals. The Gulls scored runs in the second (1), third (3), fourth (2), and eighth (3) innings to down the Leopards 9-2 in game one. In the nightcap, an early Danny MacDougall first inning solo blast put the Gulls up 1-0, but the Leopards knotted the score in the top of the second. The Gulls reclaimed a 2-1 lead in the second thanks to TJ Liponis' sac fly to left, and would not relinquish the lead the rest of the way. Endicott added three in the fifth with RBI singles from MacDougall and Joey Frammartino and an RBI double from Zach Stephenson. Then, a six-run seventh inning brought the game to a close via the 10-run mercy rule. Evan Scully turned in another strong start from the rubber, limiting the Leopards to just one run on five hits. Ben Gill replaced him and escaped a bases-loaded situation to turn in a scoreless seventh inning of relief.

No. 10 UW-La Crosse finished the regular season with a sweep of Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foe UW-Stevens Point, 15-4 and 14-1, Saturday afternoon. The Eagle offense exploded for nine runs on 10 hits in the first inning. The Pointers would get one run back in the top of the second inning but would never challenge the Eagles in the opener. In game two, UP-Stevens Point would take an early 1-0 lead. The Eagles would erase that and put the game away with another big inning, the fourth this time with 8 runs scored. Max Born finished game two 2-for-5 with three RBIs. With his two hits, Born broke the WIAC All-time hits record as he now has 321 hits for his career. Born surpasses Bradley Comer who set the record last season at UW-Stevens Point. The hits record is 356 and was set in 2024 by LaGrange's Joe Ruth.

No. 2 UW-Whitewater clinched the outright conference title, their 23rd in program history, with a game one win against UW-Platteville. The Warhawks (34-4, 24-4 WIAC) secured the outright title with a 19-4 win in just seven innings, but the Pioneers (18-19, 13-15 WIAC) fought back in game two for the 3-1 win, securing their own spot in the WIAC Baseball tournament next weekend. The Warhawks had their work cut out for them early in game one, as UW-PLatteville spotted three runs to begin the game, but a sacrifice fly from Eli Frank and a solo shot for Adam Cootway closed the gap to just one run after the first 6 outs of the game. From there, it was all UW-Whitewater, as the Warhawks scored in every single inning. Cade Hansen pitched a complete game, notching 11 strikeouts in a 7.0 inning win. In Game Two, the hitting slowed for both teams, with only three runners on through three complete. But the Warhawks went into a bullpen game, giving UW-Platteville an RBI double in the fourth to open up scoring. The Warhawks were unable to get any runners moving, and a two run homer in the top of the 6th gave the Pioneers the 3-0 lead. With the Pioneers maintaining their lead, the Warhawks kept bringing in new arms, managing to not extend the deficit. UWW held off the shutout, with an Eli Frank sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 8th. Sam Paden had a two-out single in the bottom of the ninth, but UWP held on to avoid a walk-off, winning 3-1.
