| No. 1 Denison kicked off spring break action against the No. 17 Adrian Bulldogs at the Midwest Classic hosted at Lee Pfund Field at Wheaton College. The Big Red holds a 6-3 all-time record over the Bulldogs; however, Adrian bested Denison last year in a dominant 13-3 victory. The Big Red were able to stay hot and avenge last year's loss in a 15-5 decision in eight innings, courtesy of four home runs and 12 strikeouts by the pitching staff. Oneonta opened its spring break trip at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational with an 8-1 win over No. 10 Rowan on Friday afternoon. The Red Dragons held the Profs to five hits and moved to 7-3 overall. Rowan suffers its first loss and falls to 4-1. Leading 2-1 heading into the sixth, the Red Dragons brought in four runs. Oneonta got two runners on base after singles from freshman Alex Halwick and senior Nick Jacoby. Brendan Duffy singled in a run to make it 3-1. Freshman Carlos Almanzar knocked a three-RBI home run to push the Red Dragons ahead 6-1. Oneonta took out Rowan 1-2-3 in the bottom of the sixth, and a double play in the seventh kept it a five-run game. Ryan Cronin scored on an error in the top of the eighth, and the Red Dragons added a score from sophomore Joseph Monserrat in the ninth to go up 8-1. Junior Lukas Jachens pitched the ninth inning and struck out one batter to help secure the win. Duffy went 2-for-5 with three RBI and two runs. Almanzar was 2-for-5 with three RBI and one run. Jake Quigley (3-0) went 8.0 innings with five hits, one run, and six strikeouts. Jake Andrey (0-1) pitched 2.0 innings with two hits, two runs, and one strikeout. Collin Denton went 3.0 innings with three strikeouts.
Powered by season-highs in hits and runs, Montclair State vaulted past MIT 20-1 in the opener of a three-game series at Yogi Berra Stadium on Friday afternoon. Matt Kaliske tallied a season-best three hits, including his second home run in as many games. Michael Wansaw, also with a trio of hits, set a new career-best while amassing seven over his last three contests. Lukas Egenhauser was the final Red Hawk with three hits, also a season-high. Chase Fischer's homer was his third of the season, as he finished the day with a pair of hits and four runs batted in. He has totaled six hits and driven in ten runs over Montclair's last four games. Montclair's 20 runs were the most scored in a game since April 20, 2024, when it put up 22 against Rutgers-Newark. The Red Hawks accumulated 21 hits on the day, their most recorded since April 6, 2024, matching the total they had against Rowan.
A six-run first inning and a complete-game shutout from Clayton Holt led LeTourneau to a 12-0, run-rule, victory over Centenary in game one of the three-game SCAC series at Shehee Stadium on Friday night. It was the second run-rule win for LeTourneau (10-8, 8-5 SCAC) in the last three games. Holt (3-1) was dominant as he collected his first career complete-game and first shutout. The right-hander allowed just two hits and struck out five in his seven innings of work. Centenary did not register its first hit until two outs in the fifth inning. A six-run first inning was all Holt and the YellowJackets needed. LeTourneau drew nine walks and had six hit-by-pitches. The six hit batters tied a program single-game record, and the most since LeTourneau batters were hit six times vs. Occidental on March 11, 2025.
Looking to rebound after their lone loss of the season, No. 6 Washington University began a three-game series with Transylvania on Friday afternoon. After a slower start for the Bears, the bats came alive as WashU picked up a 9-4 win over the visiting Pioneers at Kelly Field. The win improves the Bears to 10-1 on the season, while Transy fell to 5-6. The lead would swap back and forth early in the game. The Bears took the lead for good with a pair of runs to retake the lead 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth. Transylvania would continue to eat into the lead only to see WashU expand the game in their half of the inning. Ryan Soong led the Bears with three of the team's 11 hits on the day. He also had one RBI and a run scored. Drew Dillon also had a multi-hit game against the Pioneers with a pair while scoring twice, knocking in one RBI, and earning one walk. Graduate Chase Brickley earned his fourth win of the season, pitching the first five innings, striking out six and allowing three runs. Junior Parker Guthrie collected his third save of the season, pitching the final three innings, striking out a pair and allowing just one run.
Wittenberg continued its hot streak with a statement victory, defeating No. 19 Christopher Newport 10–4 to secure its seventh consecutive win. Wittenberg's offense broke the game open with two explosive innings, while a dominant pitching performance set the tone early. On the mound, Wade Thewes delivered a standout start, throwing seven shutout innings while allowing just four hits and striking out six. Thewes earned the win and improved to 2–1 on the season. The Tigers broke through in the fourth inning with a six-run rally. Wittenberg added more offense in the sixth inning with another surge at the plate to lead to 10-0. Several Tigers had big days at the plate. Landon Turner went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI, Alex Nemunaitis finished 3-for-5 with a home run and a double, and Quintin Applegate went 3-for-4. With the win, Wittenberg stretches its winning streak to seven games and adds an impressive Top-25 victory to its resume.
Simpson opened its Florida trip with a sweep of Beloit on Friday, winning 4-0 in the opener and 10-1 in the nightcap. In game one, Charlie Thomas tossed 5.1 scoreless innings while striking out five, and Jake Edenburn finished with three strikeouts across 1.2 hitless innings to preserve the shutout. Dalton Ferrin, Drew Carlson and Sam Campin powered the offense, driving in all four runs. Simpson (5-3) carried the momentum into the nightcap, outhitting Beloit (6-5) 15-3 and scoring 10 runs, including seven in the second inning. Easton Dunwoody threw a complete game with 10 strikeouts, while Carlson (3 RBI), Jacob Roberts (2 RBI) and Campin (2 RBI) each drove in multiple runs to seal the sweep.
Covenant overcame an 11-6 deficit in the late stages with six unanswered runs to open CCS play with a 12-11 extra-inning victory at Cecil Zwifel Field in Wilmore on Friday afternoon. Roby McClarnon went 3-for-4 with a pair of home runs to head up the offense, while Ryan MacLellan added a homer of his own, and Daniel Counts, Cole Akins and Ezra Finton contributed three-hit games as well. However, the Asbury offense exploded in their half of the sixth, dropping an eight-spot on the Scots to go back up 10-6. Fortunately, Covenant had one final push left in them. In the top of the seventh, MacLellan and McClarnon went back-to-back with two outs to make it a one-run game, and then a defensive miscue by the Eagles allowed the tying run to score in the eighth. As extras arrived, McClarnon was the leadoff man, and made good of it, homering again to right center to untie the score. Jonathan Glover (2-1) did the rest, completing his win with a scoreless bottom of the 10th. Edison Burke went 3-for-5 at the top of the order with a pair of RBIs to lead the Asbury offense, and Wesley Stewart (0-2) was handed the loss in relief.
Case Western Reserve junior pitchers Tyler Stillson and Zach Barnes combined to strike out 16 hitters, and graduate student first baseman Eli Westrick collected four hits to lead the Spartans to a 4-3 win over Johnson and Wales at the Spartan Southern Classic in Lexington, South Carolina, on Friday afternoon. Stillson finished the game with a career-high 12 strikeouts over seven innings of work, allowing just one run on six hits to improve to 3-0. Barnes pitched the final two innings of the game and picked up his first save of the campaign, giving up two runs on three hits with a walk and four strikeouts. Westrick went four-for-five with a triple, two runs scored, and an RBI, and is now batting a team-best .423 this season. Nine different Spartans collected at least one hit in the game, as the team finished the contest with 13 total hits.
Roger Williams swept Fitchburg State in doubleheader action on Friday morning, defeating them 12-4 in the first game before shutting the Falcons out in the second game 13-0. In the opener, leading 2-1, the Hawks broke the game open in the third inning, plating eight runs. The Hawks finished with 11 hits in the game. Luke Miele led the offensive effort with a 3-for-5 performance, driving in six runs including a grand slam. Michael Williams started on the mound for Roger Williams, allowing four runs over 3.2 innings while striking out five. Daniel McDonnell earned the win in relief, tossing 3.1 scoreless innings and striking out seven. In the nighcap, Roger Williams opened the scoring when Nick Dimaso launched a two-run home run to left field, the first of his career, for a 2-0 lead. This was all the Hawks needed but added eight runs in the third inning, to put the game out of reach. On the mound, Matthew Donovan earned the win after tossing five scoreless innings, allowing four hits while striking out four. Branden Steinberg and Hugh Cyhowski combined for the final two scoreless innings to complete the shutout, allowing just one hit while striking out one.
No. 21 nationally ranked Mount Union (12-2) won a thriller against Stockton (4-4), finishing with a score of 8-7. The Purple Raiders made a remarkable comeback by scoring eight runs in the final four innings. In a pivotal moment, junior Trevor Szekely hit a two-RBI double that gave Mount Union the lead in the top of the ninth inning. Junior right-handed pitcher Ty Dennison made the start and pitched 6.1 strong innings of work, tallying nine strikeouts and allowing three earned runs. Stockton's starting left-handed pitcher Nick Kowalewski pitched a dominant 6.0 innings with three strikeouts, allowing only four hits and two runs. It came down to the wire, and down to the final strike and out, the Purple Raiders found a way, as Szekley delivered a two-out two RBI double in the right-center field gap, to give Mount Union the 8-7 lead. Freshman right-handed pitcher Logan Ellis secured the game for the Purple Raiders and earned his second win of the season, as he pitched 2.2 innings with three strikeouts.
Mitchell continued its strong showing at the Spartan Southern Classic with a 13–4 victory over SUNY Cobleskill on Friday morning at Lexington County Stadium. The Mariners struck early and never looked back, scoring in the first inning before adding two more runs in the third on a two-run double by senior Johnny Brucato. Mitchell broke the game open in the fifth when junior Chas Terni Jr. launched a grand slam to right field, extending the lead to 7–0. Mitchell added three more runs in the sixth inning as Brucato delivered another two-run double before sophomore Christopher Piscione brought home a run with a sacrifice fly. The Mariners continued the offensive surge in the seventh when senior Savier Paige ripped a two-run double and Brucato followed with an RBI triple to push the advantage to 13–3.
MSOE kicked off their weekend with a 14-4 come from behind blowout win over Webster, taking the lead in the fourth before blowing things open in the eight behind three RBI performances from AJ Le and Camden Hoier. Webster (4-9, 0-0 SLIAC) put the pressure on early after knocking in two in the first and a run in the second for a 3-0 advantage. Le raced around the bases for a triple in the top of the third to score Christian Bosque and Kyle Mayberry to cut it to a one run game in the top of the third, but the Gorloks got a run back in the bottom half to lead 4-2. Mayberry tied up the game in the fourth on a two-out rally with a double to right to score Charlie Claas and Jordan Skolmar. The Raiders took the lead a batter later and Mayberry moved over to third when Teo Greco singled into right, leading 5-4. After three scoreless innings, the Raiders completely took over the game, by a Bosque RBI single and capped with back-to-back doubles and a home run from Claas to make their lead double-digits to end the game early Zaidan Eblin forced a bases loaded groundout to win. Webster bounced back with a 14-4 win over no. 24 UW-Oshkosh.
No. 15 UW-Whitewater scored nine runs in the first inning, carrying the momentum forward to a 12-8 win over Nebraska Wesleyan. Nebraska Wesleyan began the game with two runs in the top of the first, looking for revenge after UW-Whitewater defeated them 11-6 in the first game of the Blue Wahoos Challenge on March 10th. The lead would evaporate as 13 Warhawks came to the plate in the bottom of the first. The Prairie Wolves were able to get momentum with a three-run inning in the top of the 6th. A 2-RBI home run and RBI single cut the Warhawks' lead to just five. UW-Whitewater minimized the offensive chances for NWU to begin a comeback in the next two innings. The Warhawks added one more, pushing their lead back to six runs in the bottom of the 8th. Nebraska Wesleyan didn't go away quietly, scoring three runs in the top of the 9th. The Warhawks were able to get out of the inning before the Prairie Wolves tied it up. Nick West earned the win in the bullpen game for the Warhawks, pitching 3.0 innings, only allowing two hits.
Baldwin Wallace won an offensively-dominated game over North Central (Ill.) by a score of 15-13 at Pfund Stadium for their seventh consecutive win. The contest is the fifth consecutive effort in which the team has scored 11 or more runs, and it's the first time since 2017 in which they have scored double-digit runs in five consecutive games, when they did so the first five games of the 2017 season from February 18 to February 26, 2017. Dennis Ritlinger-Nirider finished the day with three hits, going 3-for-4 with his first home run of the year, a double, two walks, and scored three runs. Senior right-hander Tyler Walker was the starting pitcher and struck out seven batters in five innings of work. Sophomore right-hander Michael DelDuca took the win in his first outing of the season, going an inning and a third, and three of the four outs he recorded were strikeouts.
Texas Lutheran picked up two wins on Friday night over Ozarks (AR) at Katt-Isbel Field. TLU won game one 13-4 before having to comeback from an early deficit to win 8-5 in game two. The Bulldogs (15-3, 11-3 SCAC) pounded out 18 hits, including five doubles, to open the series with a 13-4 victory. Isaiah Ramirez pitched 6.1 no-hit innings in relief to pick up his third win of the season in the opener. Ramirez walked three and struck out six. Adam Peavy went 3-for-4 at the plate with a double, two RBI, and two runs scored, while Aiden Spires was 1-for-2 with two RBI. Right-hander Parker Schutte picked up the win out of the bullpen in the nightcap, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out one to help TLU clinch its fifth SCAC series of the year. Southpaw Jack Grames punched out five across the first six frames. Grames allowed two runs on seven hits and two walks.

On the penultimate day of their spring break trip to Florida, Geneva split the two games they played, defeating Wisconsin Lutheran 6-5 before falling to Alfred State 13-6. Pitching was the name of the game in the first contest, while the Golden Tornadoes' bats couldn't keep up with the Pioneers in game two. Geneva's record now stands at 7-3 following the split. Senior Ryan Conover got the nod in game one and was efficient on the mound early on, holding Wisconsin Lutheran to just one hit through the first three innings. Conover was the winning pitcher, tossing 5.1 innings of two-run baseball while striking out three and walking just one. Kaden Peeples took the save, striking out five batters in just 2.0 innings. Jonathan Dysinger went 3-for-4 on the day with a double and an RBI. Geneva struggled offensively to start game two, and despite sophomore starter Jack Barrett allowing just one run through the first four frames, Geneva trailed 1-0 midway through the game. Alfred State finally struck for six runs in the tops of both the fifth and sixth innings, opening up a big lead that they would not relinquish.
No. 4 ranked Belhaven opened play at the Berry Invitational in impressive fashion on Thursday afternoon, rallying from an early deficit to defeat Berry College 11-6. Belhaven collected 14 hits and used a pair of big middle-inning rallies to erase an early four-run deficit and seize control of the game. Berry opened with a 5-2 advantage through four. Belhaven began its comeback in the fifth inning when they broke the game open with a five-run rally. Belhaven continued to build on the lead in the sixth inning, adding three more runs. Belhaven added a final insurance run in the ninth inning when Austin Canale delivered another RBI single to score Weed and extend the lead to 11-6. Canale paced the Blazers offensively with three hits and four RBI, his fourth game this season with at least three hits. Trey Flettrich entered in relief and earned the win after recording five outs while limiting Berry's offense and keeping the game within reach during the turning point of the game.
Penn State Behrend took two from Northwestern, one in extra-innings, 12-8 in eight, and the second a come-back 8-5 victory in a non-conference doubleheader in Fort Pierce, Florida on Friday afternoon. Tied 7-all after seven innings, the Lions scored five runs in the top of the eighth for the win. Silvio Ionadi had a three-run double in the eight for a 10-7 lead and scored on a wild pitch and Thomas Nicely made it 12-7 on an error with Spencer Deitz at bat. Down three in the second game, Behrend rallied with six unanswered runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Sawyer Prince collects the win for the Lions in relief, throwing 2 2/3 scoreless innings with two strikeouts.
Kean belted out 10 runs on 19 hits in a 10-3 win over host St. Joseph's University Long Island on Friday afternoon in non-conference action. The #8 Cougars jumped out to a quick start with two runs in the top of the first. Dominic Masino led off with a single and came around to score on a Jude Clough double. Tyler Stone quickly tripled him home as Kean went up 2-0. After single runs in the third and fifth, the Cougars poured on six runs in the seventh to put the game out of reach. Kean batted around in the inning while collecting eight hits. The Golden Eagles got on the board with three runs in the bottom of the eighth. On the mound, Anthony Marano earned his second win allowing just four hits in six innings of work. He fanned five and walked two. Offensively Mike Colonnello led all players with three hits (3-for-4) while Masino, Michael Simone, Clough, Stone and Adam Scire all had two hits.
Saint Vincent split the opening doubleheader of their four-game series on Friday afternoon against the Apprentice School. The Bearcats lost the opener by a score of 4-2, before winning the second game 6-5. Saint Vincent attempted to rally in the seventh inning. Austen Hester opened the frame with a triple to left center before Dylan Schmude brought him home with an RBI groundout to cut the deficit to 4-2. The Bearcats would get another runner aboard later in the inning but were unable to push across another run. In game two, St. Vincent built a 5-1 lead. The Bearcats pushed across another run in the sixth inning when Jacob Auld reached base and later came around to score on a wild pitch, making it a 6-1 Saint Vincent advantage heading into the final frame. The Builders mounted a late rally in the bottom of the seventh inning. Jackson Thomas scored after Jaeden Anderson was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, and Seth Harrison followed with an RBI single. A fielder's choice by Winslow brought home two more runs, trimming the Saint Vincent lead to 6-5 before the Bearcats were able to close the door.
Alex Henderson was 3-for-4 with three RBI, and Rider Gordon was 3-for-4 with two RBI as Claremont-Mudd-Scripps opened up the Tucson Invitational Games with a 14-1 win over Hamline on Friday. Kody Perry allowed no runs for the fourth time this season, allowing four hits and striking out seven in five innings of work to get the win for CMS, which moves to 10-4 on the year with the win. Gordon gave CMS a 1-0 lead in the first with an RBI single to score Henderson. The Stags added two more in the third, when Henderson had an RBI double to score Blaise Heher, and then came home on an RBI single from Dillon Martin. Henderson added another RBI double in the fourth, this time driving in two, to make it 6-0, and traded places with Gordon, who drove him in with a double for a 7-0 lead. Cruz Wexler had an RBI single to make it 9-0, before Bryce Didrickson hit a three-run homer in the fifth to make it 12-0 and help enforce the 10-run rule. Keegan Cabrera added an RBI double in the sixth, and Austin Xu followed with an RBI single to give CMS a 14-0 lead, before Hamline broke the shutout with a run in the seventh.
WPI closed play at the Myrtle Beach Spring Break Tournament with a doubleheader sweep of Otterbein on Friday at Ebbets Field. The Engineers claimed a 4-2 victory in the opener before edging the Cardinals 3-2 in game two to improve to 8-0 on the season. Otterbein falls to 1-11. WPI used timely hitting and strong pitching to take the opener, 4-2. Zachary Roethlein led the Engineers with two hits and a stolen base, while Joe DiMichele collected two hits and scored a run. Jack Zawacki doubled and scored, and Liam Keblin drove in a run with a sacrifice fly. WPI completed the sweep with a 3-2 victory in the second game behind strong pitching and late execution.
Hobart began is spring break with a 5-0 win over Immaculata on Friday on Crosley Field at The Ripken Experience. Junior Trevor Kimball pitched seven strong innings, allowing just two hits while striking out a season-high five batters. Kimball retired the first eight batters he faced, striking out three over the first two innings. The Statesmen gave Kimball the lead in the bottom of the second and extended its lead with three more runs in the third, all with two outs. Hobart added one more insurance run in the eighth inning. Junior Jake Schulte pitched the final two innings to complete the shutout. He struck out two. On the offensive side, Byrnes was 2-for-4 with two RBIs while Dashefsky was 1-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored.
No. 11 Shenandoah scored six runs in the final two innings to help lift them to a 9-2 victory over Virginia Wesleyan University on Friday in game one of a two-game ODAC series. The Hornets (15-2, 2-2 ODAC) were led by multi-hit days by Carl Keenan, Dillon Mauzy, and JP Williams, while holding the Marlins (10-5, 2-1) to zero runs in eight of the nine innings. Blaine Griffin (5-0) allowed zero hits through the first 2.2 innings, until the Marlins strung together two consecutive two-out hits in the third. The Hornets scored the game's first three runs in the fourth inning. Neither team scored until Virginia Wesleyan added two runs in the bottom of the seventh on three hits and an error by Shenandoah, cutting the SU lead down to one, 3-2. The Hornets rebounded and added a pair of runs in the top of the eighth, including an RBI double to left center by Carl Keenan. SU then extended its lead to 9-2 in the top half of the ninth. Tyler Smith and Williams both singled, with Williams scoring Jaime Padilla on his single. The bases were then loaded after the Marlins intentionally walked Anthony Arrichiello. Matthew Atchley and Samuel Vandrey each earned free passes to drive in the next two runs of the inning. The final run of the inning was scored on a sacrifice fly by Keenan. Liam Stewart earned his second save of the season. Stewart pitched the final three innings and allowed just one hit.
North Park enjoyed an important 5-4 win over Saint Scholastica on Friday morning in Davenport. The win marked the fifth-straight victory for the Vikings. Starter Jackson Nuese put NPU in a strong position right away, retiring the Saints in order during the first and third innings and striking out five across those opening frames. He allowed no hits through the first three innings as the Vikings looked to build at the plate. Nuese, who finished with 6.1 innings, seven strikeouts, and only two earned runs allowed, worked a clean sixth before a solo home run in the seventh by Markus Iasiah put CSS ahead 4-3. North Park turned to senior reliever Zach Price, who entered with two runners aboard and struck out back-to-back hitters to end the inning and keep things close. North Park tied things up in the bottom of the seventh when Joseph singled, advanced to second, and scored on a line-drive RBI single from sophomore first baseman John Greenwood, knotting the game at 4-4. The walkoff run would come through in the ninth. Perona reached on an infield error and Joseph singled to put a pair of runners on base. After a strikeout, junior catcher Reyn Matsuzaki put a bunt down that was misplayed by the infield, allowing Perona to cross with the deciding run. Ethan Condit closed out the final two innings, allowing two hits but no runs while inducing weak contact throughout.
