OF Matt Psychos

In the regular season, Psychas compiled a .388 batting average, 62 hits, 16 doubles, five triples, five home runs, and 39 RBIs. The senior left-fielder also swiped seven bases. This is his second consecutive conference nod as he was a second team selection a year ago. He earned All-Tournament team accolades after hitting two homers against Ohio Northern on Friday. He hit .421 over the four-game span.

Scouting report

This will be Heidelberg's second appearance in the D-III World Series. In their only other trip (2010), the Student Princes went 2-2. Fitzgerald was an assistant on that team.
The bracket that Heidelberg has been placed includes two World Series rookies and Johns Hopkins, making their fifth appearance.
Heidelberg offense is a stength of the program as Heidelberg is ranked in the top 20 in batting average and leads the nation in hits as well as high rankings in other offensive categories.
