- Misericordia is making their second appearance in the D-III World Series. They appeared in the 2018 DIII World Series where they went 1-2.
- Misericordia head coach Pete Egbert is in his 16th year as the head baseball coach. Egbert has been named conference Coach of the Year six times and ECAC Coach of the Year once. He guided the Cougars to 10 consecutive MAC Freedom titles (2011-21) reaching the 30 win mark in each of those championship years.
