The Millikin baseball team defeated Greenville College 10-5 at Sunnyside Park on March 27.

          The Big Blue scored three runs in the second, third and sixth innings before tacking on one run in the seventh.

          Millikin got excellent starting pitching from junior Evan West the threw six and one-third innings allowing eight hits and two earned runs while striking out five.  West held Greenville scoreless for the first six innings.

          Jared Dosien went 3-3 with two runs scored and one RBI.  Dan Weber was 2-5 including a double and two RBIs.  Theo Face and Brian Ekiss also had two hits for Millikin.

          The Big Blue open conference play on Saturday, March 31 with a 1 p.m. doubleheader at North Park University.
