AUBURNDALE, FL - The Benedictine University baseball team won a season high fourth in a row with a walk-off decision over Lawrence University.

THE DETAILS
Sam Kerr, who entered the game defensively in the top of the ninth, won the contest with a double down the left field line, bringing home Jack Feeley
The rally was necessary after failing to hold leads of 5-1 and 8-6
Both teams scored in the first inning
Playing as the home team, Jack Feeley led off the bottom of the first with a triple and scored on a groundout from Chayancze Stirbis
Benedictine was able to score four times in the third
Nicholas Quick led off with a walk and Feeley was hit by a pitch with one away
Jimmy McLaughlin singled to load the bases for Sitrbis, who delivered a two-run single through the left side
Lawrence responded quickly with a run in the fourth and tied the game with three runs in the fifth before taking the lead in the sixth
Dom DeMicco opened the bottom of the sixth with a walk and Andrew Hotze singled
Following an error, Erik Callaghan doubled home two runs to put Benedictine ahead again
With one-out Nick Severino lifted a sacrifice fly to further the edge to score Callaghan
Lawrence tied the game with two runs in the eighth and left two on in the ninth before the heroics
The win ensured that Benedictine will leave Florida with a winning record overall and on the spring trip

Benedictine banged out 12 hits
Feeley finished 4-for-4 out of the leadoff slot
Stirbis notched three RBIs while Callaghan collecting two
Hotze also posted a multi-hit performance with two
James Wright started on the mound, working four innings
Marty Maves earned the win in relief with 1.1 frames
Jacob Trumpis and Will Diessner also appeared out of the bullpen
