MILWAUKEE, WI - The Benedictine University baseball team brought their bats to Wisconsin, scoring 35 runs on 34 hits in a sweep of Wisconsin Lutheran.

Benedictine set the tone early with single runs in the first two innings
- Damen Castillo drove home the first one in the top of the first and Ryan Doubek plated another in the second
- Stephen Sewruk took control and Benedictine started to break the game open in the fourth with a pair of runs
- Peter Turelli singled home Jack Carlson and Kevin Bushnell lifted a sacrifice fly
- Two more came across in the fifth on a solo homer from Cole Wilson and a sac fly from Carlson
- Bushnell drilled a two-run homer in the sixth and two batters late Andrew Tenison also connected on a two-run shot as Benedictine led 10-0
- Wisconsin Lutheran scored twice in the bottom of the inning to keep the game alive
- Castillo hit a two-run homer in the seventh but Wisconsin Lutheran again scored in the bottom of the frame

All nine members of the starting lineup posted a hit as Benedictine finished with 14, half of which were for extra bases
- Sewruk threw six shutout innings, walking one and striking out 10 to move to 3-2 on the year
- Austin Pizer tossed the final three frames to earn a save
- Castillo and Bushnell both knocked home three runs
- Turelli, Castillo, Wilson, Sam Tickel, and Carlson all notched two hits

Benedictine scored in six of the seven innings to streak to a win in the second contest
- Bushnell and Wilson singled home runs in the first as Benedictine opened a 2-0 lead
- Bushnell knocked home two more in the second and Castillo lifted a sacrifice fly as the rout was on with a 5-0 edge
- Six runs scored in the fourth as 11 came to the plate
- The game got out of hand with a 10-spot in the fifth with 15 batting to make the score 21-0
