  • In the third, Danny Sheeler worked a two-out walk and Anderson followed with a double to put men on second and third. Sheeler then scored on a wild pitch that made it 3-0 SU.
  • The Green Terror scraped a run back in the top of the fourth. After a hit batsman and a base hit, Billy Wheatley snuck a grounder through the left side for an RBI single to get McDaniel on the board, 3-1.
  • Salisbury answered with a pair of runs in the fifth. Caster bashed a double that one-hopped the wall in left center, then Sheeler grooved a soft liner into right for an RBI single. Sheeler stole second and Anderson walked, then after a balk to advance the runners Rice plated Sheeler with a sac fly to boost the lead to 5-1.
  • In the sixth the Sea Gulls put up two more unearned runs. Cameron was hit to lead off and stole second, then Dom Frigiola put down a sac bunt that the pitcher threw wildly to first, allowing Cameron to score and putting Frigiola on third. Three batters later Caster legged out an RBI infield single to score Frigiola and make it 7-1.
