Ebling Doubles in Three Before Rain Ends Affair at Rutgers-Camden

Camden, N.J. - (2/27/2024) - Senior second baseman Frank Ebling (Cherry Hill, N.J.) doubled in three runs in the top half of the sixth inning, but the rains came an inning later as today's contest at Rutgers-Camden (2-1) was called in the Scarlet Raptors favor, 16-6, with one out in the top of the seventh. Sophomore right fielder Sam Junker (Ambler, Pa.) (2-for-4, RBI) and junior designated hitter Ricky Templeton (West Deptford, N.J.) (2-for-3, 1R) both recorded multiple hits for Gwynedd Mercy University (1-3) and sophomore catcher Mike Storti (Philadelphia, Pa.) (1-for-3, 2RBI) knocked in two runs with a fourth-inning double before Ebling doubled in three more Griffins in the sixth. Junior Ethan Ferraro (Gilbertsville, Pa.) took the loss (0-1).

  • In the third inning, sophomore center fielder Chris Nodeland (Hamilton, N.J.) led off with a double before Junker's two-out double to left center plated the first Gwynedd Mercy University run; 2-1.
