    Lutheran ruled the day as Pac Lu and Cal Lu opened their seasons in Arizona with wins. Pac Lu exploded for 13 runs over a two-inning stretch in a 13-8 victory over Redlands. Cal Lu used dominant pitching to take down Texas-Dallas 8-3 for their opening win. Whittier fell to Vangard 9-1 in an exhibition game as they open their season with Willamette on Friday.
