Rivier Baseball will have a new face at the helm for the 2012 season. Former professional baseball player Anthony Perry has been named Head Baseball Coach for the Rivier Raiders.

After graduating from Fisher College in 2008, Perry played two seasons for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs of the independent Atlantic League under former major league manager Butch Hobson.

For the past three seasons, Anthony served as an assistant baseball coach for Fisher College helping his alma mater to three Sunrise Conference Championships.

In his four year collegiate career at Fisher, Anthony played in 171 games recording a career batting average of .355 and a school record 69 stolen bases. He was integral part of four straight Sunrise Conference and NAIA Region X Championships.

A native of Andover, Massachusetts, Coach Perry is very familiar with the Nashua, New Hampshire area. Throughout his high school and college summers, Anthony was the bullpen catcher for the Nashua Pride including the Can-Am League Championship season in 2007. 

In addition to his coaching duties, Perry has also been named the new Sports Information Director at Rivier College.
