    PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State baseball team overcame an early 4-0 deficit on Friday evening, taking down Brockport 10-7 in their State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) series opener with the Golden Eagles. Mike Rasquin (Garden City, N.Y/Garden City) led the offensive charge with four hits and three RBI, as the team picked up their ninth conference win, their highest SUNYAC win total since 2012.

    No. 22 Penn State Harrisburg opened its weekend series against United East foe Penn College with a 10-0 shutout victory at historic Bowman Field on Friday afternoon. The Lions needed just four hits to reach double figures, thanks in part to 10 walks and three errors by the Wildcats. Drew Sassaman drove in two runs and Brendan Henn scored two more. Danny Eden earned the win on the mound, throwing five scoreless innings with seven strikeouts.

The Captains improved to 22-8 overall after senior closer Kyle Lewis slammed the door against the Generals with five strikeouts in the final two frames to pick up his fifth save of the year.
