The NCAA announced a wide range of NCAA championships sites, including the baseball World Series site through 2015-18.
The D-III World Series will remain in Appleton, Wis., through 2018. With the extension, four more teams will earn a walnut and bronze trophy on the field at Fox Cities Stadium. Appleton has hosted the D-III World Series since 2000.
The eight regional sites were also announced.
- New England: Whitehouse Field (ECAC)
- New York: Falcon Park (Ithaca)
- Mid-Atlantic: PNC Park (Misericordia)
- South: Loudermilk Field (Piedmont)
- Mideast: Don Schaly Stadium (Marietta)
- Central: Brunner Field (Augustana)
- Midwest: Prucha Field (UW-Whitewater)
- West: Roy Helser Field (Linfield)
