The Roger Williams University Athletic Department is pleased to announce Jason Tower as the new Head Coach of the RWU Baseball program.

Tower comes to Roger Williams University after spending the past three seasons as Assistant Coach at Tufts University. "We are very excited to announce that Jason Tower will be joining us as our head baseball coach," said Dave Kemmy, Director of Athletics, Intramurals, and Recreation. "His breadth of experience at the Division III level in two high level conferences like the NESCAC and the NEWMAC and his playing experience in our conference has given him a strong foundation to lead our program. His passion and enthusiasm are clearly evident and the future of our program is in great hands."

Prior to assisting at Tufts University, Tower spent a year as the Assistant Coach at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Similarly, Tower spent two years assisting at Lasell College, where he aided the team to a university-record 21 wins in the 2011 season.

In addition, Tower has experience at the club and camp level, with coaching stints at RBI Academy, and a number of clinics, including ones hosted by Harvard, Brown Columbia, Yale, Stanford, Boston College, William and Mary, Holy Cross, Franklin Pierce, Headfirst, Top 96, RBI, and South Shore Baseball Club.

Tower is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association, and Massachusetts Baseball Coaches Association.
