Cazenovia College Baseball freshman Isaiah Ausby (Endicott, NY / Union-Endicott H.S.) tossed a complete game no-hitter on Tuesday, March 13, in his first collegiate start, knocking off the University of Maine-Farmington by a score of 5-0 during the Wildcats annual spring trip to Auburndale, FL.

Ausby's efficiency paced the Wildcats all afternoon, needing only 87 pitches (53 strikes) in the complete game effort. He did not allow a single Maine-Farmington runner to reach second base in route to earning his first career win and the programs first no-hitter since 2006.  He finished with a final stat line of 7.0 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 7 SO.

Senior Chris Schad led off the bottom of the 4th with his first homerun of the season to give the Wildcats an early 1-0 lead. After a scoreless top of the fifth, the Wildcats offense erupted with back to back homeruns from Schad (2nd of the Season) and junior Bobby Antonacci (1st Career) to give Cazenovia a 4-0 lead. The Wildcats capped the scoring in the bottom of the 6th on a Dave Gabrielsen single to left field scoring Collin Pickert.

Ausby was recognized for his outstanding performance after being named the North Eastern Athletic Conference's (NEAC) Pitcher of the Week on Monday.

"This is an unreal feeling," said Ausby. "I couldn't be happier with how our team played, and to see all of our hard work come together. Most importantly, we got the win!"

Ausby and the Wildcats return to action this Sunday, as they travel to Phoenixville, PA to take on Valley Forge University.
