Lebanon Valley blanked Dominican in a dominant 23-0 victory on day two of the Flying Dutchmen's spring break trip. The Flying Dutchmen improved to 3-0, while the Stars dropped to 3-3. In what has become a theme in the Sunshine State, LVC has been scoring early and often, and this morning's game against the Stars was no different. On the mound, Jake Williams was stellar and pitched with a huge lead throughout his four innings of work. In the top of the fourth, LVC sent 14 batters to the plate and poured in nine more runs. Eventually, Williams and Joe DeGrazia held the Stars scoreless in a shortened seven-inning affair.

Concordia-Morehead pounded out 36 hits and scored 26 runs as the Cobbers swept King's (Pa.) 19-2, 7-4 on the opening day of the 2019 season. Concordia had seven extra-base hits, four of which were triples, and hit .525 with runners in scoring position. Sophomore infielder Beau Wilmer, who joined the Cobbers just last week after playing for the Concordia hockey team, went 7-for-9 on the day, scored five runs and had 3 RBI. Senior shortstop Nate Hoeft wasn't far behind Wilmer for the team lead in hits on Day 1. Hoeft went 4-for-5 in the opener and backed it up with a 2-for-4 performance in Game 2. He finished the day with six hits, drove in a team-high five runs and scored twice.

New England College met York (Pa.) for the first time and behind six shutout innings by Joseph Pascucci earned an 11-2 victory. Joseph Pascucci earned his first win of the season after giving up four hits and striking out six over six scoreless innings. The Pilgrims have now plated 11 runs in back-to-back contests.

Wabash rallied for an 11-6 victory over Carthage in the Little Giants' third game of their spring break trip to Arizona. Erich Lange and Sean Roginski each drove in three runs apiece. Lange, Matthew Annee, and Canton Terry each collected two hits in the game for Wabash. Lange and Annee both smashed triples while Roginski slammed a double for the Little Giants' extra-base hits out of a total of 11 hits in the game.

Defiance started the season in a strong manner on Monday. The Yellow Jackets took on Elms in a doubleheader to open up 2019 spring break action, winning both contests against the Blazers. The Yellow Jackets (2-0) won the first contest 12-8, while picking up a victory in the second game 10-4. Paris Creek picked up his first win on the mound, pitching 2.1 innings while allowing just three hits. Jack Powell grabbed his first save of the year, coming in for 1.2 innings, allowing no hits and striking out one. Game two was highlighted by a dominant pitching performance from Jon Brown. The junior went for six innings, allowing just five hits and two runs from the Blazers.

Coe used extra-innings in both ends of a doubleheader to remain undefeated on the young season with a pair of 4-3, eight-inning, wins over Ohio Northern. In game one the Kohawks needed a late-inning comeback to force the opener into extra innings but never trailed in game two. The Polar Bears scored all their runs in the fifth inning of each game.

Andrew Arszulowicz hit a two-run single as Albion tacked on three insurance runs in the seventh to take a 7-2 victory over Grove City in its first spring break game in Florida. Drew Weaver gave Albion a quality start, yielding two runs on eight hits and two walks over eight innings. He struck out five.

Junior second baseman Mike Crilli smashed a game-breaking grand slam in the seventh inning and Jake Reese threw six innings in his collegiate debut to earn the win as Alvernia (4-1) bettered Thiel (1-1) by a 6-1 final in non-conference baseball at Terry Park. Ian Shaffer, Nathan Sides, and Colin Rieger all had two hits apiece. Cirilli was 1-for-3 with five RBIs.

Marc Ochoa had four hits, including three doubles, and five RBI as Heidelberg defeated Mitchell, 7-2. The Student Princes wrapped up the first half of their Florida team with a 3-2 overall, 3-1 in the Sunshine State. Freshman Alec Zoeller picked up the win in his first collegiate outing. In addition to Ochoa's four-hit day, Parker Fronk and Matt Psychas each collected two hits on the day.

Solid pitching performances from senior Leo Coehlo and freshman Matt Perconti  and an offense outburst which featured 20 runs on 27 hits helped propel the Wentworth Institute of technology baseball team to a pair of victories over Penn State Fayette. The Leopards took game one, 8-0, before completing the sweep with a 12-2 win in the nightcap.

St. John Fisher pulled out a win over Widener after Allen Murphy lifted a walk-off double in the 10th inning to down the Pride, 17-16, as part of the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex. With the win, Fisher moved to 3-2 on the season while Widener fell to 3-3 overall. Fisher came up with 18 hits on the day with Justin Graham going 4-for-7 with two runs scored in the win. Thomas Pasquale had three hits in four at-bats and accounted five runs scored and three walks.

The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy baseball team swept a doubleheader against Hiram College on Monday on the Mariners' second day of the Cusic Classic down in Florida. USMMA won the first game, 6-4, and then completed the sweep with an 11-2 victory in the second game. In game one, sophomore Alex Mesaros led the way offensively, going 2-for-2 with a triple and three RBIs. Sophomore Vincenzo Alteri went 3-for-4 with four RBIs, while junior Matt Austin knocked in three runs after going 2-for-3 in game two.

Saint Joseph's (Maine) (3-0) toppled RPI (1-2), 12-3, in a non-conference contest in the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational at Lake Myrtle Park. The Monks stole 11 bases – the team's most since stealing nine versus Anna Maria last season (4/13/18) - as six different players pilfered at least on bag in the one-sided victory. The team record for steals in a game, 14, was achieved versus UMaine-Presque Isle on April 14th, 1991.

In a doubleheader that took place at LECOM Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates Spring Training, Saint Vincent's offense showed up early and often. Sweeping Hilbert College by winning 12-1 and 11-4. In the opener, Ramon Milke led the offense going a perfect four-for-four, driving in four runs and scoring once. Bobby Finn collected three hits in four at-bats, a RBI and scoring three times. In game two Zach Barberich went three-for-five from the plate in his first collegiate start. Barberich drove in four runs while scoring twice.
