HOW IT HAPPENED:
Game 1:
After trailing 3-1 in the opening game, Dean rallied for three runs in the fifth and two in the seventh to seal a 6-4 victory.  Landon Fish had two hits and two RBI's, including the go-ahead solo homer in the seventh, while  Andrew DiRito (Plymouth, Mass.) drove in one and scored a run while also contributing two hits.
Brian Hadden (Newburyport, Mass.) started the game for the Bulldogs, pitching five innings and allowing three hits and three runs.

Game 2:
Dean jumped out to an early lead in the first inning, scoring on an RBI single from Matt Callahan (Attleboro, Mass.) to take a 1-0 lead. The Bulldogs kept the momentum going in in a second inning rally sparked by a Thomas Troy (Norwalk, Conn.) RBI triple, pouring on three more runs to take a 4-0 lead.

Dean added one in the fourth on an RBI double from Callahan and two more in the seventh on an RBI fielders choice from Troy and a run scoring single from Zachary Bochenek (Fredricksburg, Va.) that plated Troy.

The story of the day, however, was Belanger.  The right handed hurler threw a complete game no-hitter, walking one and striking out four over the course of seven innings.
