A day after going toe-to-toe and splitting a double header with second ranked USMMA, the Mount St. Vincent Dolphins returned to the diamond to take on St. Joseph's College-Long Island, who entered Sunday with a Skyline-best 13-3 record. CMSV impressed over the two games as they went on to sweep the Golden Eagles by the scores of 6-5 and 14-5.

Case Western Reserve University first-year outfielder Nick Harms hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the 10th, his second walk-off home run in as many days, to lift the Spartans to an 8-7 win over Washington University (Mo.) at Nobby's Ballpark in Cleveland, Ohio on Sunday, and clinch at least a share of the 2022 University Athletic Association Championship for CWRU. With the win, the Spartans finish their UAA campaign with a 12-4 record, and will claim the fourth UAA title in the program's history. Emory University shared the University Athletic Association championship with Case Westerm. The Eagles closed out the regular season on a high note, outscoring the Judges 19-10 in the finale.

Lawrence University got another great outing from Quinn Berglin and topped Monmouth College 4-3 Sunday in the Midwest Conference series finale. Berglin extended his scoreless inning streak to 30 before the Scots broke through against him in the seventh inning. Berglin allowed three runs on seven hits over eight innings, struck out five and walked four to improve to 4-1 on the season. Richie LaCien worked the ninth to pick up his fourth save and tied the Lawrence season record.

Benedictine University ran their win streak to nine games while improving to 15-1 in the NACC and 10-0 at home with a sweep of Edgewood. Following a delay of moe than an hour due to consistent rain, the contest started slow with no offense coming until the bottom of the sixth inning. Justin Sosa went the distance, striking out 13, a season high and his second double-digit showing of the year. Benedictine wasted no time in the second game, jumping on the starter for five runs in the first inning. Two of the eight Eagle hits came from Sam Tickel in the leadoff slot, who also scored twice.

Sophomore Cam Seymour was 3-for-5 at the plate and came on in relief to pick up his second save in as many days to help the University of Southern Maine Huskies to a 9-5 win over the Babson College Beavers Sunday afternoon at Ed Flaherty Field in a non-conference game. Sophomore Matt Burnett earned the win in the start for the Huskies going 5.1 innings. Sophomore Lucas Francis had a strong 3.0 inning in middle relief, before Seymour came on to get the final two outs of the game.

Steady pitching mixed with a combined 34 runs over two games surged Utica University on Sunday in a sweep , 17-1 and 17-7, over the Elmira College Soaring Eagles. Utica kept its late-inning momentum from Saturday into game one, striking immediately for a pair of runs in the top of the 1st inning. Ryan Cardone was in control from start to finish, fighting off a leadoff single to retire 12 of the next 13 Soaring Eagle hitters through the 4th inning. Cardone's lone blemish came in the bottom of the 5th on a two-out single to extend the game into the 6th frame at 12-1. In his complete game win, Cardone surrendered six hits and stuck out two while facing just three batters over the minimum. The Pioneers fell into an early 5-0 deficit in game two after two innings but the Utica's bats came alive in the 5th and 6th innings as the team put up 15 runs between the two frames.

Senior DJ Caron ripped a two-run triple in the ninth to break a three-all tie and propel Nichols College to a 7-3 win over Bates College Sunday afternoon in non-conference action at Leahey Field. Graduate student Nathaniel Cormier finished the day 3-for-5 with a solo home run and three runs scored for the Bison (14-15-1), who also received two hits and an RBI from sophomore Johnny Knox and a 2-for-3 effort from junior Brad Ellis. Junior Kyle McCutcheon came on in relief of freshman starter Sean Ryan and struck out three in 2.2 innings of work to record his first win of 2022. Nichols has now won three-straight and four of the last five meetings with Bates (6-22).

Fourth-ranked LaGrange walked off with a Senior Day win and a series sweep of Maryville on Sunday at Cleaveland Field in Williamson Stadium. Senior Rhett Hebert's bunt single with one out in the ninth lifted the Panthers (30-5, 13-2 USA South) to the 9-8 win over the Scots (22-13, 7-8 USA South). Jack Layrisson started the ninth for the Panthers by hitting a pop fly into left center that fell between three Scots for a double. Cael Chatham walked and the Scots brought in Grady Cash for Tommy Musuras. David Smigelski moved both runners up with a sacrifice bunt. Adam Dorn, who had not batted in a game since March 23, coaxed a walk off Cash to load the bases. Hebert followed with a bunt in front of the mound. Layrisson's head first slide beat Cash's throw to the plate as the Panthers celebrated.

Marymount were in full force on the offensive end of the baseball on Sunday, wrapping up the season series with the Gwynedd Mercy Griffins. After some strong comebacks, the Saints ultimately settled for a split to move to 21-12 on the season, 4-8 in the AEC. Staring at a 2-0 deficit heading into the later part of the game, the Saints put up four in the bottom of the fifth to take the lead. The big blow in the contest came off the bat of Ryan Lee, lacing a double down the left field line to push two across and give the Saints the runs they needed to take the first game of the day. After falling behind in the top of the ninth in game two, Marymount continued to battle in the bottom of the frame, highlighted by Kurzrock's pinch hit home run, but ultimately fell short with the tying run on the base paths.

Junior Adam Talwalkar hit a grand slam at the bottom of the eighth inning to help the Vassar team secure a 13-6 victory over RPI in Liberty League play on Sunday afternoon. The Brewers (12-18, 4-10 Liberty) heated up with 13 hits while holding the Engineers (12-14, 4-8 Liberty) to seven. RPI wins the series with a doubleheader sweep on Saturday. Frankie Murphy (1-1) picked up the win on the hill, giving up just two hits over 3.0 innings of relief. He struck out four and walked three. Grathwohl went 5.0 innings with three hits, three runs, and five strikeouts. RPI's Vallee allowed three runs on six hits in 4.0 innings, picking up four strikeouts and one walk.

First-year Caleb Clark and senior Jake Delaney each drove in four runs and Michael Hutchins earned the win as St. Lawrence University staved off a weekend sweep with a 13-6 win over Clarkson University on Sunday afternoon at Tom Fay Field. St. Lawrence improved to 14-13 with the win and 5-10 in Liberty League play. The Golden Knights fell to 7-14 on the season and 4-7 in conference play. "Today was a good team win with a lot of contributors," said head coach Kenny Collins "We were able to put a bunch of good at-bats together every inning. We also had some younger pitchers get some valuable experience pitching in a conference weekend. The guys are playing extremely hard every game and that's all we can ask for." Clark's big day featured the first-year going 4-for-5 with two doubles, one home run, and three runs scored. Delaney went 3-for-5 in the game driving in four runs in the process. Senior Chris Watson was also a hitting machine going 4-for-5 from the dish and driving in a run.

No. 10 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater extended its win streak to eight games and swept its second straight Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference series Sunday by defeating Finlandia (Mich.) in back-to-back games at Prucha Field at James B. Miller Stadium. The Warhawks (23-6 overall, 15-3 WIAC) bested the Lions 13-1 in the first game and 14-4 in the second. Both games were decided after seven innings by run rule. In the opener, six UW-W batters tallied multiple hits and three pitchers teamed up for a 10-strikeout performance. In Game 2, Finlandia (3-28, 0-20) took the lead in the top of the first but never led again after UW-Whitewater scored twice in the bottom half of the opening frame.

The USMMA Mariners walked off with a 3-2 win in the opener before falling in game two of Sunday's home double eader against conference rival Mount St. Mary. Junior Jared Chambers drove in the game winner in game one, which also secured the complete game victory for freshman Jacob Syversen. The Knights earned the split on the day, coming out on top of a 6-1 decision in game two. Mount St. Mary stranded 11 runners on base and helped their cause with two double plays in the nightcap.

Husson University scored 69 runs this weekend as they completed a four game North Atlantic Conference sweep of the University of Maine at Presque Isle Owls on Sunday afternoon at the Harold Alfond Diamond. The Eagles won game one, 14-5, and game two, 16-1. Junior Joshua Scott delivered a grand slam in game one as the Eagles (14-15, 6-1 NAC) won the first game by nine. Sophomore Jackson Curtis and junior Austin Snow each drove in two runs while senior Kobe Rogerson recorded four hits. Game two saw the Owls (6-22, 3-6 NAC) take the lead in the first inning before the Eagles leveled the game at one in the second inning. Husson went on to score 15 unanswered runs including eight in the third.

The College of Wooster ran its run of 20-win full seasons to 39, and senior center fielder Ben Gbur tore the cover off the ball during an 18-7 win over Heidelberg University on Sunday afternoon at Peaceful Valley. Wooster (20-9) and Heidelberg (12-20) were meeting for the first time since the 'Berg eliminated the Fighting Scots in the 2019 NCAA Div. III Super Regional. Wooster's seniors, who were first-years on that team, logged an astounding day this time around, with the class accounting for 15 RBI, 13 runs, and 11 hits. Gbur alone went 4-for-5 with six RBI and five runs scored. The senior became the first Scot since 2018 to score five times in a game. Gbur's milestone home-plate tap was noteworthy itself, as the mathematics major legged out an inside-the-park grand slam in the eighth inning.

NC Wesleyan College cruised to a game two win 17-8 over Mary Baldwin on Sunday afternoon in the first game of the Senior Day doubleheader from Bauer Field. The Bishops then finished off the series sweep with a 13-2 win in game three later Sunday. In game one Wesleyan then sent 12 men to the plate in the third while scoring 8 runs in the third to take a 12-2 lead. Wesleyan got off to another qucik start in the second game of the day leading 6-0 after three innings. Wesleyan is now 23-14 on the year and 15-3 in conference as they sit tied with Methodist for first place in the East Division. The two rivals will now square off next weekend in the final series of the season to determine who will host the East Division 4-team playoffs in May.

Penn State Altoona used a potent offensive performance to break out the broomsticks against Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Pitt-Greensburg on Sunday afternoon at Calandra-Smith Field, totaling 26 runs and 30 hits in a doubleheader sweep of the Bobcats. Penn State Altoona (13-17, 5-7 AMCC) used a 10-run sixth inning to come back and defeat Pitt-Greensburg (3-23, 3-9 AMCC) 12-6 in game one, and the Lions hung on for a 14-12 victory in game two. The Lions trailed 5-2 heading into the bottom of the sixth, but Penn State Altoona rallied for 10 runs to surge ahead and ultimately defeat the Bobcats. Penn State Altoona constructed an 11-0 lead after three innings, but Pitt-Greensburg mounted a valiant comeback effort to tie the score in the top of the eighth. However, the Lions reclaimed the lead in the bottom of the eighth and escaped with the sweep-sealing victory.

Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology junior Ben Christiansen finished 3-for-4 with a home run and five RBIs to lead a 19-hit attack, as the Fightin' Engineers defeated Wilmington College 16-9 on Sunday afternoon. Christiansen blasted his first career home run, two singles and scored twice to go along with his career-high five RBI day. The offense was plenty for reliever Isaac Wanninger to pick up the victory. Wanninger allowed just one run in 3.1 innings of work.

Washington & Jefferson used a 17-hit attack to record a 15-3 victory over visiting Franciscan University in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game Sunday at Ross Memorial Park. Four Presidents registered multi-hit efforts in the victory for the Presidents. John Klein earned the start in center field and finished with three hits and three RBI. Joe Lehner, Tyler Horvat and Peter Kalinski finished with two hits apiece.

Penn State Abington increased its season long winning streak to eight straight games after defeating Wells College in a United East Conference doubleheader on Sunday afternoon. The Nittany Lions took game one by the score of 18-3 and closed out the three-game series with a 16-4 victory in game two. Abington added five runs in the fifth inning of the opener with Sean Doherty recording his second two-run double of the game. The Nittany Lions tacked on three more runs in the seventh inning for good measure as their lead swelled to 18-3. In game two, the Abington offense continued where it left off in game one. Today marked the 10th and 11th meetings between Abington and Wells since the start of the 2018 season. The Nittany Lions are 11-0 versus the Express in the all-time series.

Mitchell College completed a weekend sweep of Lesley University on Sunday afternoon, prevailing by a 17-0 final in New England Collegiate Conference play. Mitchell (23-7 overall, 6-2 NECC) hit up Lesley pitching for 15 hits and fell one run shy of tying its season high. The Mariners won all three games against the Lynx this weekend to take three of four regular season meetings. Mitchell's pitching staff gave up only three hits and didn't allow a runner past first base. Starter Daniel Driscoll surrendered two hits over 5.0 innings and improved to 4-0 on the season. Justin Dennett had two hits to pace the Lynx, who dropped to 13-11-1 overall (1-8-1 NECC).

Carthage College (10-21, 4-9 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) won the rubber game of a three-game series with conference-opponent Elmhurst University (10-17, 3-9) by winning a 12-6 decision over the Bluejays on Sunday at Augie Schmidt Field in Kenosha, Wis. The two wins over the weekend pulled the Firebirds into eighth place in the league. The Firebirds collected 16 hits in the game, with Bryce Prybylinski leading the way by going four-for-four with two runs scored, a double, a home run and five RBI. Colton Klein had three hits in three trips to the plate with four runs scored and a solo home run. Cody Tostrud extended his hitting streak to 11 games with a single in the third.

One day after sweeping a doubleheader at Knox College, Ripon's offense picked up right where it left off, defeating Knox 21-6 in seven innings behind six home runs, to earn the season sweep of the Prairie Fire. The Red Hawks' recorded 17 hits in the game, with 10 going for extra bases, while their 21 runs scored are tied for the 12th-highest single game total in program history. Nick Terrell finished the game 4-for-5 with five RBI and six runs scored, improving his team-leading batting average to .419. Samuel Ott also had a exceptional game, going 3-for-6 with seven RBI, which is tied for the third-most in a single game in program history.

No. 1 ranked Marietta College extended its winning streak to 17 games with a doubleheader sweep of John Carroll University Sunday afternoon at Donges Field on the campus of Ashland University. The Pioneers won the first game, 13-7, and then took game two, 11-6. The Etta Express improves to 31-3 overall and 13-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. John Carroll falls to 15-15 on the season and 9-5 in the conference. With four conference games remaining in the regular season, Marietta has a two-game lead in the OAC standings over second place Baldwin Wallace. Marietta travels to Baldwin Wallace this Saturday for two games. It was a record-setting day for senior closer Sam Mathews. Mathews picked up the save in game two setting Marietta's all-time save record with the 29th of his career. It was also his 12th save of the season tying Kyle Lindquist for the single season school record.

Luther and Buena Vista University wrapped up their three-game series this afternoon in the valley. Trailing 3-0 entering the bottom of the fifth, Luther scored three runs to tie the game at 3-3. The Norse added two more runs in the seventh and one in the eighth to secure the 6-4 come-from-behind victory. Charlie Rubendall and Joshua Matanich led the Norse attack with two rbi each. Rubendall drove in both of his runs with a triple down the right field line in the fifth, that scored Peyton Lindamark and Luke Plunkett who started the frame with back-to-back singles. Rubendall scored on an infield ground ball by Matanich. In the seventh, Matanich drove in the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly to center field that scored Gavin Scurr who had hit a one-out triple to right field. Joe Jersak followed three batters later and drew a bases load walk that gave the Norse a 5-3 lead after seven complete. Mark Prince drove in the final Norse run in the eight with a single.

Led by a career-high 14 strikeouts from junior Tucker Alch, Catholic University posted a 7-3 victory over Scranton on Sunday at Volpe Field. With the win, the Cardinals (25-10, 11-4 LC) regained first place in the Landmark Conference standings with a one-game lead over the Royals. Alch matched the longest outing of his career, scattering six hits and allowing just two earned runs over 8.0 innings to extend his win steak to a career-best seven starts. Over his last six starts, Alch is 7-0 with a 2.81 ERA and 61 strikeouts over 48.1 innings. Meanwhile, Catholic has outscored its opponents, 66-23. Offensively, senior Tommy Antonucci went 3-for-5 with a two-run double in the fourth to put the Cardinals in front, 2-1.

Visiting Ithaca College grabbed a weekend series win over the University of Rochester thanks to a split doubleheader on Sunday afternoon at Towers Field. Rochester took game one by a 7-3 score, thanks to two three run innings late in the game. Ithaca's bats came alive in game two, leading to a 14-8 victory. Both teams are 7-2 in the Division, with Rochester still leading the conference with a 12-2 Liberty League record, while Ithaca is close behind at 10-4. Overall, the Yellowjackets are now 25-7 on the season and Ithaca sits at 22-9.

Brevard College (19-15, 8-9 USA South) earned an emphatic 14-1 victory to close out a three-game sweep over the Berea College Mountaineers (4-30, 1-14 USAS) on Sunday afternoon at Gil Coan Field. After Berea scored the first run of the game in the top of the first inning, Brevard took complete command, scoring 14 unanswered runs to earn the win via run rule in seven innings. Four Tornados had multi-hit performances, while the Brevard pitching staff hurled a combined one-hitter to stifle the Mountaineer bats. Frankie Vasquez led all hitters with a perfect 3-for-3 performance with three RBIs, one double, and a run scored.
