Westminster (Pa.) completed a Presidents' Athletic Conference sweep of Geneva College Monday afternoon. The Titans claimed a 14-8 win in game one before posting a 12-2 (7 inn.) victory in game two. In game one, Westminster built a 5-1 lead before Geneva plated a pair of runs in the fifth to cut the deficit to 6-4. Two runs in the fifth and three more in the sixth pushed the Titans' lead to 11-4 and the Golden Tornados was out of the game. Junior first baseman Jake Dockum went 3-for-4 with three doubles, two RBIs and a run scored. Westminster totaled 14 hits in its game two run rule win. Randza's two-run single in the third gave the Titans a 2-1 lead. Dockum, the eighth-straight batter to reach in the fourth, delivered a two-run double to cap the five-run frame and push the lead to 7-1. Westminster added another five runs in the sixth to go up 12-1. Geneva scored its second run of the game in the seventh.
Five student-athletes combined to throw a one-hitter as Johnson & Wales blanked Babson 9-0 Monday afternoon in non-conference action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex. Garrett Fusco, Elijah Barber, Justin Markell, Nick Calenda each pitched two innings with Markell getting the win. Ben Fosberg pitched the final inning. Babson's only hit came in the fifth a single up the middle of the infield by Jack Pirkl.
Keystone enjoyed a convincing 17-3 win over Wilkes Monday afternoon at Christy Mathewson Field. With the win, Keystone moves to 20-11 with Wilkes dropping to 14-22. Griffin Yastremski remained hot at the plate as he went 3-for-3 with a grand slam in the bottom of the sixth. In addition, Yastremski started on the mound and got the win as he went 5.2 innings with five strikeouts on 75 pitches. Giovanni Diaz went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run. Robert Estrada belted a solo home run in the seventh. Alex Brinkman and Bobby Pokorney combined for four hits and five RBI. Cam Hale, Jacob Shaw, and Kevin Adamson appeared in relief for the Giants. Keystone was up 5-2 after 5.5 innings before pouring in eight runs in the sixth to put the contest out of reach. The Giants outhit the Colonels, 17-7.

Bethany Lutheran needed just seven innings to defeat Northland on Monday afternoon as they toppled the LumberJacks 12-1. With the win the Vikings move to 14-8 overall and 10-3 in the UMAC. The Northland starter was working with pace in this one until Brad Bickmann changed the direction of the game with one swing in the top of the fourth, as he led off the inning with an opposite field home run off the scoreboard to even things at one. Back-to-back walks followed by a Reed Brown sacrifice bunt would put runners at second and third with Eli Fest paying off the small ball decision with a double to the left field fence to put Bethany up 3-1. Matt Verdugo would then draw a walk to put two runners on for Aidan Russell who nearly replicated his home run from yesterday, driving one into the suites in right at ISG Field for a 6-1 lead after four innings. That would be enought for Brody Curtiss. Curtiss got the win on the bump, going five innings and allowing just one run and four hits while striking out five.
Completing the season sweep of Carroll, North Central (Ill.) won their eighth straight game on Monday night in a 7-1 over the Pioneers at Frame Park. After a scoreless first two innings from starting pitcher Jason Shanner, the Cardinals' offense struck in the third and fourth innings for a 2-0 advantage. Carroll used two hits, a walk, and a wild pitch to plate their first up of the game, bringing them within one run, 2-1 but that was a close as they would get the rest of the way. North Central responded in the sixth for a 6-1 lead. In the ninth, Trey Roach singled and came around to score on a Fitzpatrick double down the left field line. Gawronski did not allow a hit in the ninth as he closed the game for the Cardinals and secured a 7-1 victory.
After delaying the final game of the series due to inclement weather, Greensboro hosted Southern Virginia at Ted Leonard Park. After winning the first two games on Friday, the Pride were looking to earn the sweep to move up in the USA South standings. It would be a game of rallies, but in the end Greensboro broke the tie to win the game by a final score of 8-7. The Knights struck first on a wild pitch that allowed them to take the early lead in the first inning, 1-0. However, Junior Adam Weber tied the game when he stole home in the bottom of the first inning. The Pride would take the lead in the second inning, when Freshman Evan Sykes was hit by a pitch with the bases load to get an RBI, for the one run advantage. Southern Virginia would go out in front again, but Weber, Sykes, Junior Drake Carrick and Freshman Brody Gardner all drove in runs to regain the lead 7-3. In the top of the eighth inning, the Knights rallied to tie the game, but Sykes came to the plate and hit a homerun over the left field fence to secure the win for Greensboro, 8-7. Gardner and Sophomore Myles Vacharasin each finished the game 2-3, while Weber was 2-4 with an RBI and two runs. The Pride pitchers combined for 11 strikeouts, while Freshman Stephan Dunlow picked up the win and Junior Noah Caldwell earned the save.
Lancaster Bible hosted non-conference Rosemont Ravens on Monday afternoon in what was a shootout from the start, the Chargers won 23-18 and improve to 13-22 overall and are 9-9 in conference. The Ravens drop to 15-14 overall and 7-5 in the CSAC. After the Ravens put two runs across due to a home run in the top of the 1st inning, the Chargers answered with eight of their own 1st inning runs. It began with a grand slam from senior James Toney, his first of the game. The Chargers scored three more runs in the 2nd inning as Toney hit his second home run of the game, this time a solo shot. Finding the score at 17-11 headed into the bottom of the 6th inning, senior James Toney sent his third home run bringing in two others with him to make it 20-11. Rosemont used a homer in the 7th to bring it to 21-14 but Toney and Harrison Madagan again sent a home run back-to-back to make it 23-15. Rosemont looked to rally scoring four runs in the 9th but the Chargers finished out the non-conference win 23-18 as 12 homeruns were hit on the evening. James Toney went 5-6 with five hits, four of which were home runs, to total 10 RBI's.
Saint John's senior Max Nyrop broke the program record for career RBI as the Johnnies played to a doubleheader split at Macalester on Monday in St. Paul. The Johnnies (15-12, 6-4 MIAC) let a 2-1 lead slip away in a 3-2 walk-off defeat in game one but took out their frustrations at the plate in a 15-5 win (completed in seven innings due to the 10-run rule) in the nightcap. Nyrop's second-inning grand slam, his fourth home run of the season and 22nd of his career, tied the record of 110 RBI held by Max Jackson and his two-run single in the sixth inning gave him the crown for good. He finished 5-for-7 with six RBI and is now three homers from the SJU record of 25 held by former teammate Ethan Roe. Nyrop's feat was not the only milestone of the afternoon as senior second baseman Owen Dauk became the 37th Johnnie to reach 100 career hits with his leadoff double to start the doubleheader.
