FRANKLIN, Mass. – Dean College Director of Athletics George Martin has announced the hiring of Endy Morales as the next head coach of the baseball program.

"I am honored and humbled to be hired as the new head baseball coach at Dean College," said Morales. "The Dean community is very family oriented, and everyone involved is motivated to give our students the best college experience. The campus itself blew me away with its rich history and facilities. I am excited to bring this baseball team a new life and vision. My past experiences as a player and coach will allow me to bring the leadership and knowledge needed to build this program and take it to new heights. Many thanks to my past schools for preparing me for this moment. Lastly, thank you to our AD George Martin for allowing me to have this opportunity and be a part of the Bulldog family. Go Dawgs!"

"I am pleased to welcome Endy Morales to Dean College as the next baseball head coach," said Martin. "Endy stood out from the beginning of the search process with his vision and enthusiasm. I am excited to see where Endy can take the program."

Morales joins the Dean family after coaching the 2023 season at Amherst College where he worked with the pitching staff and assisted in recruiting. In the 2022 season, Morales was an assistant at Western New England University. Prior to that, Morales served as a volunteer pitching coach at Elms College for the 2021 season.

Before his coaching career, Morales was a starting pitcher at Southern New Hampshire University. He posted a 3.13 ERA in 24 appearances and went 11-4. Prior to SNHU, Morales spent two years at West Virginia University. He made six appearances in his freshman season.

Morales is no stranger to baseball in Massachusetts. In high school, he was ranked the number one right-handed pitcher (RHP) in Massachusetts for the 2015 class. He also pitched three seasons with the Valley Blue Sox in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL), located in his hometown, Holyoke. In 2018, he won the best starting pitcher award in the NECBL and recently had his jersey number retired in summer of 2023.

Morales brings unique baseball experience, having played in Division I and II and coached for three seasons in Division III. Experience at all NCAA levels will allow him to provide the best college experiences for his athletes on and off the field. He prides himself on building strong relationships with his student-athletes and forming a bond that goes beyond the baseball field.
