It happened again. For the second year in a row, the coach of the 2023 Champions stepped down. Lucas Jones said good bye this summer as Eastern Connecticut's Brian Hamm did the year before. Don't expect a lot of step back from the Hornets as they will remain one of the favorites to take the crown in Eastlake Ohio this June.

Repeating is tough and it will be with Johns Hopkins coming back with the core of the team that finished second to Lynchburg in the swan song for Cedar Rapids, Iowa. There will be plenty of more teams to challenge last years top finishers and in each of the regional previews, we dig down into who is back and who is gone, and how each team is expected to do in the 2024 season.
