Catholic blasted its way to victory, hitting six home runs, in a 21-5 win over Arcadia on Tuesday afternoon. The Cardinals improved to 17-7 on the season as Ross Natoli now sits just 10 shy of 800 career victories. Mitchel Johnson cracked a pair of blasts, driving in eight runs to lead Catholic while reigning Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week Logan Eilbacher remained scorching hot at the plate with a pair of bombs and four RBI. Zach Burton and Lance Eilbacher each hit a homer on Tuesday to give Catholic a season-high six big flies.

Senior right-hander Thomas Plunkett threw a complete game shutout and Scranton (16-5) notched a 2-0 victory over the No. 19 Misericordia Cougars (17-8) on Tuesday at Volpe Field in Scranton. Plunkett is the first Royals pitcher to throw a nine-inning complete game since Brian Markowski in a win over Elizabethtown on May 11, 2018. The Mamaroneck, N.Y., native scattered just five hits to go along with two walks and four strikeouts on 104 pitches. He worked around a two-out bunt single in the ninth and struck out the side to preserve the shutout. For Plunkett, his previous career-long outing was 7.0 IP which had been done twice.

Sophomore Nathan Chen was a triple short of the cycle with three hits and three runs as Randolph-Macon won 8-3 at Hampden-Sydney in ODAC action on Tuesday afternoon to give the Yellow Jacket seniors their 100th career victory. This is the seventh RMC class to record 100 victories. Senior Myles Webb went 1 for 5 with a double and extended his hitting streak to 20 games, three away from the program record. He has 163 career hits, the 12th-highest total in program history.

No. 1 nationally ranked Endicott defeated Tufts in a 3-1 battle at North Field on Tuesday afternoon. Endicott jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the bottom half of the first after Danny MacDougall drilled a double into the left field corner, scoring Nicolas Notarangelo from first. The Jumbos quickly responded in the top of the second with an RBI single through the right side of the infield, past the dive of Dylan Pacheco. An inning later, Joey Frammartino barrelled a ball into center field and drove home MacDougall and Notarangelo to reclaim a 3-1 lead for the Gulls. That two-run cushion was all Hale needed to thwart the Jumbos' offense the rest of the way. The freshman right-hander was dominant on the hill, earning his fourth win of the season. In the career-best outing, he went 7.1 strong innings and fanned a career-high 10 Jumbos. Bagshaw relieved him in the eighth and recorded the last five outs consecutively to earn the save and lock down the 21st win of the season for the Blue and Green.

A five-run first inning, highlighted by a two-run double from senior Luke Kelly, led McDaniel College to a 12-6 victory over Gettysburg Tuesday at Preston Field. The Green Terror (14-10, 5-2 CC) have won seven of their last nine overall and six out of nine at home this season. Kelly drove in three runs, going 1-for-3 with a walk and a double while freshman Shea McKenna also had three RBIs as he went 2-for-4 with a double. Junior Brady Bailey picked up his second win of the season on the mound, scattering three hits and allowing just one run over 2.0 innings while striking out three. He was one of seven pitchers for the Green Terror, including junior Conor Henderson who earned his third save of the season.

Rockford University scored 25 runs off 28 hits on Tuesday afternoon and secured a 10-3 and 15-11 sweep of the season series against the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors. Kadin Bergstrom belted a trio of home runs throughout the day, including two in the opener, while Joseph Stagowski got the scoring started with a three-run home in the top of the first. The pitching duo of Nate Burdin and Will Hissong held down the Warrior attack in game one, as Rockford took the opener 10-3. The nightcap was an absolute slugfest. Rockford belted a season-high 20 hits, while the Warriors scored a season-high 11 runs in the Regents' 15-11 win. Rockford had seven players record multiple hits in the game, led by three hits each from Kadin Bergstrom and Alex Perez.

Chase Stewart and Jackson Marcellus combined for six innings of one-run ball in relief, allowing the offense to get going and Guilford College to come from behind and claim a 10-5 victory over Ferrum College in some soggy Old Dominion Athletic Conference action at Panther Field on Tuesday night. The win, the Quakers' fourth in their last five games, brings them to 13-17 on the season, 5-8 against ODAC opponents, and is their seventh straight against their conference rivals who fall to 10-17 on the year, 3-10 against conference competition.

Buena Vista's Jordan Mathewson became the program's all-time hits leader with a go-ahead RBI single in game two of Tuesday's doubleheader as the Beavers celebrated their home opener with a big doubleheader sweep over Wartburg College by scores of 6-5 and 7-2, respectively. The Knights held a 2-0 lead in game two heading to the fourth inning when the BVU bats again erupted for four runs. Fifth-year senior Grant Oseka got it started with a 2-run single to the gap in left center. Mathewson then lifted his third hit of the day to right field that put BVU in front and sent him to the top of the all-time hits chart. Drew Taylor then made it 4-2 with an RBI single to left. Freshman Jake Eddie then capped off his final 3.2 innings of work on the mound in the ninth to record his first career save. The Beavers had to rally in the opener after falling behind 5-1 through three innings. Calvin Harris drove home a run in the fourth to begin the comeback before Drew Taylor launched a 2-run home run in the fifth and Zack Beekman blasted his second solo home run of the game in the sixth to make it 5-5. Bock tacked on an infield single later in the sixth for the eventual game-winning run.

Keystone College snapped their three-game losing streak as they knocked off Rutgers-Camden in a high scoring affair 18-13 Tuesday evening. After the Scarlet Raptors scored two runs in the first inning, the Giants responded in a big way as they tallied 15 runs in the next four innings of play. Rutgers-Camden was able to cut into Keystone's lead as they were able to pour in some runs throughout the primetime showdown. However, the Giants offense was too strong, and they ultimately came away with the victory.

No. 2 Denison University fell in North Coast Athletic Conference action for the first time over the last two seasons as the Battling Bishops brought out the bats against the Big Red and were hot early with six runs scored in the first three innings to win game one 7-4 at the Big Red Baseball Field. Then in game two, the Big Red came out on top by a final score of 8-3. It looked like it was going to be a good day as usual for the Big Red as Jack Rollo (2-1) pitched a 1-2-3 top of the first and Denison got on the board in the bottom of the first. Then in the top of the third inning, the difference in the game came as a two-out rally featuring a triple and a hit by pitch were followed by a huge three-run home run to right center field by Edrick Padilla. Denison outhit OWU 11-9 but finished with nine runners left on base compared to three for the Bishops. Game two was a different story. Denison got on board early and thorughout the game stayed our of the double plays that killed their rallies in the opener. Shutdown pitching in the late innings secured the win and a split on the day. Denison also finished with 11 hits for the second time on the day as Noah Leib was 3-for-4 with two doubles as the top hitter for the Big Red.

St. Olaf College improved to 6-0 in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play for the first time since 2007 by sweeping the College of St. Scholastica with 7-0 and 10-5 victories on Tuesday afternoon at Mark Almli Field. St. Olaf (15-8, 6-0 MIAC) remained the lone undefeated team in conference play with its first sweep of St. Scholastica (13-8, 3-5 MIAC) since the Saints rejoined the MIAC prior to the 2022 season. Senior Sam Lavin led St. Olaf to a win in the opener by striking out 10 in a two-hit shutout while also homering and driving in three runs. Lavin walked just two batters in his 92-pitch shutout, which was the second shutout of his collegiate career. The 10-strikeout performance brought the senior's total to 52 strikeouts in 35.0 innings of work this season. St. Olaf got out to a 4-1 lead in game two before St. Scholastica scored three runs in the sixth to tie the game at 4-4. The Oles used home runs from Glampe and sophomore Christopher Woodside to score six of the game's final seven runs to break the tie and finish off the sweep.

Six Linfield pitchers held visiting Lewis & Clark to only two hits in a 2-1 win on Tuesday evening at Roy Helser Field. Brian Mannion recorded his third save in four games while Hunter Klingelhoffer recorded three of the Wildcats' 10 hits. Elijah Maris, Matthew Lewis and Brett Joner all recorded two hits apiece. Steve Kovac (1-0) earned his first win of the season after pitching two innings in relief and racking up a team-high four strikeouts. The Pioneers also stretched their bullpen, deploying seven total pitchers with Connor Broschard (0-1) being tagged with the loss. Bret Potter and Eli Steinhaus recorded both of Lewis & Clark's hits. Brennen Davis drove in Lewis & Clark's (13-14-1) only RBI. The Pioneers scored their first run before recording their first hit after pushing a runner across in the top of the third. Linfield responded with a single run in the bottom of the fifth inning as Joner came in to score. The Wildcats grabbed their first lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. An errant throw from the Pioneer's third baseman allowed Hoskins to cross home plate as the 'Cats pulled ahead 2-1. Lewis & Clark put a runner in scoring position in the eighth and ninth innings but Gavin Ludlow and Mannion held off the late rally attempts.

Thanks to strong pitching performances and clutch hitting, Rivier prevailed over Eastern Nazarene, 6-2, in a non-conference matchup at Holman Stadium on Tuesday evening. The bats started to heat up for the Raiders in the bottom of the third to give the Raiders a 3-2 lead at the end of the third frame. The Raiders pushed their lead to 5-2 in the bottom of the fourth and a Kyle Hsu hit-by-pitch RBI in the bottom of the fifth would round out the scoring for the Raiders and propel the lead to 6-2. First-year right-hander Anthony Carey impressed in his first collegiate start tossing four innings and only allowing two runs and three walks while tallying four strikeouts. Carey was relieved in the fifth inning by Travis McKeen who pitched four scoreless innings and provided seven strikeouts of his own to earn his first collegiate victory. Ty Baker entered to close things down in the ninth, striking out one of the four batters faced.

Johnson and Wales rallied for five runs in the eighth to defeat the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) 8-3 Tuesday afternoon in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex. The Wildcats (15-6, 6-1 GNAC) trailed 3-1 heading to the seventh before a pair of wild pitches allowed junior Xavier Botelho and sophomore Jack Obert to cross home plate and tie the game. In the eighth, Obert put JWU ahead for the first time with an RBI double that plated senior Riley Hasson. Junior Nicolas Fortes followed with a three-run jack to left to stretch the lead to 7-3. Later in the frame, junior Zachary Amero tacked on another with an RBI single to center. Junior Ben Fosberg picked up the win in relief of sophomore Max Randazzo, working two innings of scoreless relief for his first win of the season. Juan finished the contest with two hits while Obert and Botelho each scored twice.

Becoming just the second player in Christopher Newport baseball history to start 50 games in his career, fifth-year senior Dylan Weber picked up a win in the milestone moment as the nationally-ranked Captains defeated No. 25 North Carolina Wesleyan, 8-5, on Tuesday afternoon. Weber tied Eben Brower (2020-24) for third all-time with 23 career victories after striking out 12 Battling Bishops in the nationally-ranked showdown as Christopher Newport improved to 18-6 overall this season. Taking on a familiar foe in the former conference rivals, the Captains matched up against N.C. Wesleyan for the 103rd time in the all-time series. With the win on Monday, CNU won the seventh straight in the matchup and kicked off a week that includes four games with three coming against nationally-ranked competition. Leading the way on Monday was Weber, who improved to 5-1 on the season in the outing. He looked primed for his 50th career start with a 1-2-3 first inning, striking out the side in order to start the game in front of a growing crowd at Captains Park. He would add another strikeout to start the second inning to open the game with four straight K's and worked swiftly through the early portion of the lineup.

The sun was shining on a gorgeous Tuesday afternoon for Presidents' Athletic Conference baseball as Allegheny College battled with Bethany College, winning both games of a doubleheader at Robert M. Garbark Field. Allegheny won the first game of the series, 11-1, in seven innings before completing the sweep with a 6-1 win in the nightcap. The Gators (14-7, 6-2 PAC) struck first in both games and never looked back. It is the fourth time they have pulled out the broomsticks, sending the Bison (8-17, 1-7 PAC) home empty-handed. In the opener, the offense put up crooked numbers in five of the seven innings played en route to a mercy-rule win. It was another dominant display of pitching for the Gators in the nightcap, featuring another local product. Dawson Thomas (Conneaut, Pa./Conneaut Area) tossed 7.0 innings of one-run ball, surrendering only six hits while picking up five strikeouts and his fourth win of the year.

Gustavus split two hard-fought games in a doubleheader against Bethel Tuesday afternoon, winning the first game 15-11 in 7 innings and losing the second 7-0. Gustavus' record moves to 11-10 on the season and 3-3 in conference play. Game one started off as a one-sided contest, as Bethel took a commanding 7-2 lead after the top of the third inning. This was the last time Bethel held the lead, however, as a 10-hit. 10-run bottom of the third for the Gusties propelled them to victory. The Royals set the tone for game two early, starting off with a solo home run from their lead-off batter. The solo bomb was followed up by a string of hits that led to a 3-0 Bethel lead at the end of the first inning. Bethel's John Solfest kept the Gustie bats in check, pitching a complete game nine-inning shutout for the Royals.

FDU-Florham snapped a five-game skid on Tuesday afternoon as the Devils rolled past John Jay, 11-1 at Vincent J. and Lenda F. Namoli Ballpark. Aaron Santos once again led the way for the Devils offensively when he hit three-for-four with two RBI, two doubles, and two runs scored. The Devils also saw hot bats from Jake Hendershot who also went three-for-four with two RBI, a run scored and a stolen base while Jack Giovenco collected two hits, an RBI, a double and a run scored. The Devils saw six guys got a chance on the mound today with five guys each seeing a strikeout during the game. Christian Weippert got the start and pitched three innings, allowed five hits with no runs and struck out a batter. Michael Dunay was awarded the win when in relief of Weippert. He pitched an inning and allowed no hits and now runs with a strikeout.

Bates scored three times in the fourth inning to take the lead for good in an 8-4 win over the University of Maine at Farmington Tuesday afternoon in a game played at Bowdoin's Pickard Baseball Diamond. In the opener, Bates got an early lead and added insurance iruns late. The Beavers answered with two runs in the top of the ninth, but it was too little too late as the Bobcats secured the win when junior Matthew Shrake got a strikeout and a fly out to end the game. Senior Corbin McAlpine got the start for Bates and tossed three innings of one-run ball, allowing two hits and striking out one. Sophomore Max Dio picked up the win with two and two thirds innings of one-run ball out of the bullpen. Dio (1-0) allowed two hits and struck out one. First-year Theo Zacharia shined out of the bullpen in his collegiate debut, striking out five batters in two shutout innings.

Ithaca College was tasked with a back-and-forth contest against Hamilton College on Tuesday at Freeman Field as the Bombers pulled out a 12-11 victory. Down 12-5, the Continentals offense got hot in the eighth inning as they were able to capitalize on a bases loaded nobody out situation by scoring six runs on three hits. The late game comeback put Hamilton within one run of IC heading into the ninth inning. Hamilton's offense remained steady in the ninth inning as two reversed calls resulted in a bases loaded nobody out situation. Conor Burns was up for the task on the mound as he surrendered no runs and struck out one to close out the game for his fourth save of the season.

Junior Adrian Siravo allowed just three hits in six scoreless innings but the University of Southern Maine scored twice in the bottom of the tenth to hold off Plymouth State University, 5-4, in a Little East Conference game at Pickard Baseball Diamond at Bowdoin College on Tuesday. Neither team was able to jump ahead in the ninth as the game went into extra innings. Sokolski opened the tenth with a clean single up the middle and Flynn was hit by a pitch. PSU attempted to bunt the runners over, but the Huskies were able to cut down the lead runner for the first out. Malgeri reached on a fielder’s choice, but a wild throw by the USM shortstop allowed Flynn to cross the plate with the go-ahead run. The Huskies opened the bottom of the inning with a double and the tying run moved to third on a ground ball. A sacrifice fly tied the game and USM followed with a pair of singles before a miscue loaded the bases. With the winning run on third, Southern Maine tucked a base hit inside the left field line for the walk-off.

UW-La Crosse extended its win streak to five games with a 14-3 win over Luther College Tuesday afternoon. Offensively, UWL finished with 14 runs on six hits, three walks and five errors. Chris VandenHeuvel led the Eagles offensively by going 2-for-3 with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored. Mac Born went 1-for-3 with a walk, home run, four RBIs and a run scored. Mitchel Fassbender (3-0) earned the win on the mound for the Eagles by going 5.0 innings and allowing three runs on five hits and four walks while striking out five. Charles Running (0-3) suffered the loss for Luther College as he allowed 12 runs (two earned) on five hits and one walk in 2.2 innings worked.

Adrian College traveled to Trine University on Tuesday afternoon for game two of the three-game set with the Thunder. The Bulldogs offense came to play ending the game in seven innings by a 14-3 score. Adrian moves to 6-1 in MIAA play. Jack Boike led the offense with a 4-for-4 performance with four RBIs. Landon Kolowski picked up his second win of the season throwing four innings allowing one earned run on three hits. Ambrose Horwath and Ben Bates threw scoreless innings in relief.

Behind four home runs from the top of the lineup and seven shutout innings from Aidan Brinsfield, fourth-ranked Salisbury University opened a busy week with an emphatic 15-1 thumping of the Hood Blazers on Tuesday afternoon at Donnie Williams Sea Gull Baseball Stadium. The Sea Gulls took control from the downbeat as Andrew Kell golfed a leadoff home run to right center in the bottom of the first inning to give SU a 1-0 lead. An inning later Kell came up and blasted a grand slam to left for his second dinger of the game. Kyle Brex tagged the next pitch to right for his own solo homer to make it 7-0. Andrew Kell turned in a monster day at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a double, two home runs, two walks, three runs, and six RBIs. Aidan Brinsfield (3-0) spun a seven-inning masterpiece for his third win of the year. Brinsfield scattered two hits across seven scoreless with two walks and three strikeouts on 94 pitches. The outing is the longest of Brinsfield's brief career and ties for the longest by a Sea Gull starting pitcher this season.

Penn State Abington split a doubleheader at St. Mary's College on Tuesday afternoon at the Hawks Nest. The Nittany Lions took the most important of the two games with a 13-11 victory in the United East Conference matchup which was rescheduled from March. Game two was designated as a non-conference game in which the Seahawks won by the score of 4-3. In the opener, both teams combined for 24 runs and 30 hits with runs scored in every inning except the sixth and seventh frames. The Seahawks managed a single run in the bottom of the ninth after Trevor Smith drove in Eli Shafer with a double. Junior Coleby Lopatic retired the next two batters to hold off any further damage and seal the victory. Lopatic was credited with the save; his first in an Abington uniform. In game two the Nittany Lions trailed 4-1 heading into the final inning of the seven-inning game. Milward led the inning off with a single and then Rollins followed with a walk. Three batters later, Doherty reached on an infield hit to load the bases. Fillman stepped to the plate and connected on a base hit to center field that drove in two runs to bring Abington to within one run of tying the game at 4-3. With the tying run 90-feet away, the Seahawks Ryder Chalk retired the next batter on a ground out close out the game and register a complete game performance.

Washington & Jefferson College totaled 27 runs and 38 hits during a two-game sweep, 10-3 and 17-7, of visiting Franciscan University of Steubenville in a Presidents' Athletic Conference doubleheader Tuesday afternoon at Ross Memorial Park. Drew Garth finished the doubleheader with six hits, six runs scored and four RBI. He hit his fifth home run of the season during a game one victory. The Presidents overcame a slow start to win the opener by a 10-3 margin. Game two was all W&J as the offense scored early and often. The Presidents scored in the first five innings and six of the eight frames. W&J pounded out a season-high 21 hits to score a season-best 17 runs. The sweep improves the Presidents to 8-0 in PAC play and 14-7 overall. W&J has now won 10-straight games. The losses drop the Barons to 3-14 overall and 1-7 in conference play.

Waynesburg University earned a Presidents' Athletic Conference sweep at Westminster on Tuesday afternoon. The Jackets scored in six consecutive innings and never trailed in an 8-5 victory in game one. Waynesburg scored multiple runs in the second, third, eighth and ninth innings to support a nine inning 11-3 win, 145-pitch, complete game performance by Ryan Opfer in the second game. The Jackets run their PAC win streak to five straight games as Waynesburg rises to 15-10 on the season and 8-1 in conference play. Westminster falls to 10-13, 4-4 PAC. With the sweep, Waynesburg surpassed its win total from each of last four seasons. The Jackets are off to their best start to PAC play through nine conference game in over 20 years.

With darkness rapidly approaching, The College of Wooster mounted a furious, and more importantly, time efficient eighth-inning rally to walk off Kenyon College 10-9 in the nightcap of Tuesday's doubleheader at Art Murray Field. Kenyon took the game-one offensive slugfest 15-13. Wooster (13-11, 3-3 North Coast Athletic Conference) trailed 9-4 entering the bottom of the eighth inning, then feasted on Kenyon (16-7, 3-3 NCAC) reliever Noah Rosenberg (1-1). First-year first baseman Zack Barienbrock started and ended the six-run rally. He was hit by a Dillon Cleary pitch with the bases loaded just before 8 p.m. to force in the winning run. The game was then called due to darkness and is an official game. Game one featured plenty of offense and four lead changes. Wooster could not protect a lead, as Kenyon pinned three runs on Alex Gerdenich in the eighth inning. Drew Robinson's two-run homer was the go-ahead hit.

Senior Jack Julian went 3-for-3 with a double, three RBI and three runs scored, and Babson College scored in every inning but the first on the way to defeating the University of Hartford, 22-5 in seven inning, in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon. With its 11th straight win, Babson improves to 14-6 on the year. Hartford has dropped 11 of its last 12 games to slip to 4-15-1 overall. Sophomore Chris Basile went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI and first-year Dante D'Avanzo singled twice and drove in three runs as 13 players recorded a hit while 10 players knocked in at least one run for the Beavers. Junior Justin Guest was 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored, senior Ike Kiely had two singles and scored three times, and classmate Brant Savage added two hits and an RBI in the victory. Senior Jake Santiago went 1-for-3 with two RBI and first-year Zaynn Godbee had an RBI single to give the Hawks a 1-0 lead in the top of the second.
