First-place Methodist (21-9, 10-2 USA South) used a seven-run sixth to pull away from Brevard (12-17, 7-5 USAS) by a final of 16-9 on Sunday afternoon at Armstrong-Shelley Field. The two sides combined for 25 total runs and 34 combined hits in the slugfest. Hayden Jennings kept Brevard's alive, drilling a double to left field that scored two, as Brevard surged to a 5-2 edge. Following a Methodist pitching change, Logan Sawyer kept the line moving with a single that plated Jennings, capping off a five-run fourth for the Tornados. Methodist was able to find a counter-punch in the bottom-half of the frame, though, using three RBI singles and an RBI sacrifice bunt to tie the score at six-all. Then, a two-out RBI double chased Thompson out of the game and gave the Monarchs the lead back, 7-6. BC was able to answer right back, scoring two runs in the top of the fifth on a throwing error and an RBI single by Pyle. Methodist turned the tides for good in the sixth inning, putting up a seven-run frame that helped the Monarchs clinch the sweep.

The Crown Polars faced off with the UW-Superior in a doubleheader on Sunday and swept the day winning game one 18-10 and game two 5-2. After the first inning the Yellowjackets took the 2-1 lead. Crown answered with an RBI single from Kyler Thruston and a three run home run from the likes of Bryan Gerbers to take the 5-2 lead. The 4th inning allowed the Polars to tack on five more runs to take the 10-5 lead after a Drew Girtz two run home run and a couple of hits strung together. After a few runs from UW-Superior, Crown opened the game up with a 7 run inning in the top half of the 8th and the Polars finished with the 18-10 win. Aidan Volk-Specht earned his first win of the season pitching 6.1 innings allowing 6 earned runs and striking out 5 batters. Phillip Jackson pitched the final 2.2 innings and allowed just 2 earned runs. Drew Girtz totaled 4 hits and 3 RBIs leading the Crown offense. Gerbers totaled a whopping 6 RBI's on 3 hits. Game two started out with Crown pushing across the first run of the game with a Gerbers home run to take the 1-0 lead. The next run wouldn't come until the bottom half of the 5th inning when the Yellowjackets tied it up at 1-1. Tyler Bloom came up clutch knocking one out of the park to dead center to retake the 3-1 lead in the top of the 6th inning. Crown added two insurance runs and came out on top 5-2. Ryan Vondracek pitched 7 innings allowing just 1 run and struck out 9 batters. Quentin Holmes and Drew Girtz pitched in relief. Tyler Bloom had 3 RBI's on 2 hits in the game. Crown totaled 11 hits as a team.

Scranton took down No. 12 Penn State Harrisburg, 4-3, in a closely contested matchup on Sunday afternoon at Volpe Field in Scranton. Penn State Harrisburg led off the game with a solo home run to take an early 1-0 lead. With runners on second and third and one out, junior Vincent Napolitano drove in the tying run with an RBI ground out. One batter later, sophomore Jared Cassella doubled to drive in the second run of the inning, making it 2-1 Scranton. Two batters after senior Jake Elston drew a one out walk in the third inning, junior John Heitzman drove him in with an RBI triple to extend the Royals' lead to 3-1. A two out, RBI single in the top of the fourth inning for the Lions cut the Scranton lead to 3-2. In the bottom of the eighth inning, Heitzman tripled with one out and then graduate student Matthew Querey executed a perfect suicide squeeze up the first base line that scored Heitzman to extend Scranton's lead to 4-2. The Lions loaded the bases with one out in the top of the ninth inning against junior Logan Mason and scored one run on a sacrifice-fly, but Mason induced a ground ball that sophomore James Nitti made a backhanded play and flipped to second to end the game.

Vassar won a pair of pitchers duels on Sunday afternoon as the Brewers defeated Cobleskill 2-0 in seven innings in game one before senior Luke Barrientos' walkoff infield single propelled Vassar to a 2-1 victory in game two over the Fighting Tigers. Vassar's record improves to 9-11 overall while Cobleskill drops to 5-12 overall on the season. Game one was a pitching duel between Vassar starter sophomore Will Darrell and Cobleskill starter Dylan Schwam as both teams were held off the scoreboard early and often. Darrell earned the win as he went five scoreless innings, allowing three hits and struck out five. Senior Jack Blau tossed a scoreless sixth inning while striking out two. Barrientos picked up his second save of the season with a scoreless inning of relief and struck out three. In game one, senior Ricardo Reyna recorded a hit with his single being his 100th hit of his career. Schwam took the tough luck loss with a complete game six-inning effort, allowing five hits, two runs (one earned), one walk and struck out three. Game two was sent to extra innings as Cobleskill's Jeffrey Gutierrez led off with a double in the eighth and advanced to third on a passed ball with one out. Junior Cade Terada Herzer struck out the next two hitters to strand the runner at third and gave Vassar the chance to walk it off in the bottom half of the inning. Barrientos came to the plate with two outs and singled in between first and second to send Jensen Bergman home for the extra innings victory.

Junior Henry Black hit the game-tying and eventual game-winning solo home runs late in game two, as St. Olaf recorded its second consecutive Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference sweep by defeating Hamline University by scores of 10-1 and 10-6 in 10 innings on Sunday afternoon at CHS Field. St. Olaf (13-5, 4-0 MIAC) cruised to a 10-1 victory in game one by getting multi-hit games from five different hitters and 5.2 innings of one-run ball from junior Kevin Steel. Hamline (5-15, 0-2 MIAC) held a 6-5 lead after seven innings in game two before Black hit a solo home run in the eighth to tie the game and another one to lead off a four-run top of the 10th for the Oles. Black's two-homer game accounted for two of St. Olaf's four home runs on the day, as sophomore Cole Pleimann and junior Frank Lavin both went deep in game one. Lewis & Clark scored early and often, putting up three runs in four different innings en route to a 13-3, seven-inning victory over Occidental College on Sunday afternoon. Sophomore Michael Aikawa, junior Joaquin Sandoval and senior Brennen Davis each hit a three-run home run to lead the Pioneers. All three finished with one hit and three RBI, while Aikawa and Davis each scored twice after drawing walks from Occidental pitchers. Seniors Will Heron and Justin Cavagnaro drove in the remaining runs. Heron went 3 for 4 with three RBI, two runs scored, a sacrifice fly and a stolen base. Cavagnaro added one hit, one RBI, a walk and a run scored. The Pioneers' pitching staff combined for eight strikeouts and held Occidental to just three runs. Sophomore Owen Eisen earned the win, allowing one run on six hits while striking out four over five innings. First-year Dillon Foster and sophomore Shane Buchbinder closed out the game in relief, each striking out two. Buchbinder struck out the final two batters swinging.

Baldwin Wallace celebrated the 40th anniversary of the 1985 Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Championship team as it swept Marietta College in an OAC doubleheader by final scores of 1-0 and 5-4 at Fisher Field. Between games, the baseball team welcomed back members of the 1985 OAC Tournament Championship team that won the first-ever OAC Tournament by defeating two-time national champion Marietta College in the championship series to clinch the program's first NCAA Tournament berth. In game one, senior All-OAC right-hander Vince Dolcemaschio pitched his first-career complete game shutout as he struck out seven, walked one, and limited the Pioneers to only four hits. In game two, junior Academic All-OAC left-hander Brit Kostura took a perfect game into the eighth inning on his way to 10 strikeouts while allowing only three runs on two hits. Senior right-hander Patrick Straub pitched two thirds of the eighth in relief where he struck out two and allowed one run on two hits. Sophomore All-OAC right-hander Jake Heatherington picked up his second straight win as he struck out three of his five batters through 1.1 innings.

William Paterson (16-9, 1-5 NJAC) split a New Jersey Athletic Conference doubleheader with Stockton (11-12, 1-4 NJAC) at Jeff Albies Field. The Pioneers fell 6-5 in game one before bouncing back for a 2-1 victory in game two. In the opener, Stockton jumped out to a 3-0 lead after plating a pair of runs in the opening frame and adding one in the second. The Pioneers opened the sixth with a pair of singles to make it a one-run game (3-2). Austin Jack then launched a three-run home run to center to put the Pioneers ahead, 5-3. Stockton answered with three runs in the top of the seventh to take a 6-5 lead. In the nightcap, the two sides were scoreless until Stockton broke through with a run in the sixth inning. WP loaded the bases in the seventh with one out and senior Giovanni Aresta delivered a two-RBI single to left to give the Pioneers the 2-1 edge. Sophomore Robert Nathan stayed on to pitch the eighth and ninth frames, not allowing a single Osprey to reach base as WP secured the 2-1 come-from-behind win.

Saint Joseph's College (10-11, 3-6) went 1-1 in Sunday's Doubleheader versus Norwich (8-11, 3-4), winning 8-0 in the opener and losing 10-5 in the second game at Larry Mahaney Diamond in Standish, Maine. It was a pitching duel early with both pitchers coming out strong. After five innings the score remained 0-0 with a combined four hits from both teams. The Monks came out swinging in the sixth, scoring seven runs. The Monks cruised to victory from there bringing in another run in the eighth to end the game 8-0. Dylan Brander pitched eight scoreless innings in just 76 pitches for the Monks, securing the victory. Brander only allowed three hits in his eight innings. Josh Weiners pitched a scoreless ninth to complete the shutout. In the nightcap, the Cadets scored in the first inning before the Monks answered with two runs in the bottom of the first. Jared Wilhelm tied the game with a solo homer before Jake Carlisle recorded a RBI double to give the Monks the early lead. Saint Joseph's took the lead back after the game was tied up with a solo homer from Carlisle. The Cadets regained the lead before a two run homer from Wilhelm restored the Monks lead. After that Norwich took control of the game with a grand slam from Michael Sabasteanski in the eighth which made the game 9-5. Norwich added another run in the ninth to make the game 10-5. After six innings of work from Noah Carpenter, Jordan Talbot earned the win in relief, holding down the Monks through an inning and two-thirds. Isaac Parker shut the door in the final inning and a third to nail down the win.

After dropping the first three games of the series, Emory salvaged a win in the finale Sunday afternoon by taking down the Spartans of Case Western Reserve, 5-2, in Cleveland. The Eagles were led by a pair of standout pitching performances as sophomore JT Rattigan and senior Bennett Speicher held CWRU to two runs on seven hits as the Eagles won their 18th game of the season. Rattigan worked into the sixth inning to earn his second win of the season. He battled through the tough Spartans lineup, pitching around five hits and four walks to allow just two runs. He struck out one in the outing. At the plate, the key frame in Sunday's win came in the sixth as the Eagles claimed the lead with a three-run inning. Jack Halloran collected three of the Eagles' eight hits on the day and registered at least one RBI for the third game this weekend. Sunday's RBI brought Halloran's season total to a team-leading 40 as well as his career total to 156 as he moves closer to Ted Karniewicz's program record of 169 career RBI.

No. 10 UW-La Crosse swept No. 24 UW-Oshkosh on Sunday afternoon as they completed the four game sweep, 10-5 and 13-2, of the Titans to remain undefeated in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play. UWL got on the scoreboard first as they took a 2-0 lead in the second inning and continued to ppile up runs moving the score to 8-0 in the sixth inning. UW-Oshkosh did not go down quietly in their half of the ninth inning as they scored four runs on two hits and two walks but it was not enough for a win. In game two, UWL scored first in the second inning only to see UWO keep pace. With one out in the top of the fifth inning, a double steal put the Eagles up 6-2. UWL took a 13-2 lead in the top of the sixth inning as they scored six runs on three hits and four walks to finish the scoring and secure a sweep.

No. 25 Brockport completed a three-game sweep of Elmira, defeating the Soaring Eagles 15-3 in game three on Sunday. The Golden Eagles improved to 18-2-1 overall and 7-0 in Empire 8 contests. Ryan Peters (W, 3-0) was excellent throughout, allowing just two baserunners across six innings of work with a career-high 10 strikeouts. Zach Eldred provided another excellent performance, going three for three at the plate with four RBIs and a run scored. Building a 10-0 advantage, the Golden Eagles would round out their scoring in the fifth inning, plating five more runs. DJ Stoianovich opened the scoring with an RBI double, followed by RBIs from Chris Martin (2RBI) and Timothy Venditti. Elmira would get on the scoreboard with three runs in the seventh inning, but the Golden Eagles would pick up the 12-run win in seven innings. Ten different Golden Eagles would record a hit or better, with eight Brockport players posting an RBI on the day.

No. 6 Endicott swept Western New England, 6-1 and 7-2, in Saturday afternoon's Conference of New England doubleheader at North Field. The Gulls got runs in the first (two), sixth (one), seventh (two), and eighth (one) innings to top the Golden Bears in game one. Charlie Hale was dominant in his six innings of work, fanning eight and stranding several baserunners along the way. Chris Jenkins took over for him in the seventh, and much like last Wednesday, he was able to slam the door shut and earn his second save of the season after his three scoreless innings. The Gulls took a 2-0 lead in game two with runs in the top of the first and second innings, but the Golden Bears scratched two across in the bottom of the second to knot things up. Both bullpens dominated from that point on, dealing seven scoreless innings over the following seven frames and sending the game into extras. In the top of the 10th, the Gulls scrapped together a big rally. Kyle Grabowski led things off with an infield single, and eventually came around to score on John Mulready's go-ahead single later in the frame. A few batters later, Stephenson broke the game wide open with an opposite field grand slam to left field, putting the Blue and Green up 7-2 in the 10th. Grady Vanidestine came on to close things out, and struck out the side to finalize the sweep.

No. 15 Centre wrapped up its series against Berry this weekend, finishing a halted game from Saturday night with a 7-5 win before taking the rubber match with a 5-2 victory. When play resumed, TJ Schira returned to the mound having thrown just seven pitches the previous day and recorded a strikeout to end the inning. In Centre's first trip to the plate on day 2, the Colonels rallied for a 7-3 lead entering the final inning. Berry recorded a two-out rally of their own in the seventh on two singles and a double, and a walk put the go-ahead run at the plate, but Schira dug deep and struck out the last hitter of the game to secure the win. In the regularly scheduled game, the first innings went by quickly. In the bottom of the fourth, Baylor Woodall hustled home on a Aaron Lopez base hit for a 1-0 Centre lead. The lead blossomed to a 5-0 advantage. The Vikings scored runs in each of the next two innings to narrow the gap to 5-2. With one out in the seventh and runners on first and second, Isaac Rone relieved Andrew Zimmerman and got out of the inning unscathed. Rone again got himself into some trouble in the eighth as he faced runners on second and third with one out, but the freshman again got out of the jam with a strikeout and a groundout to maintain the 5-2 lead. Berry went down in order in the ninth as Rone got the 27th out with a backwards K to end it.

Webster continued SLIAC play by hosting Westminster College for a doubleheader on Sunday at GCS Ballpark. The Gorloks earned their third conference sweep of the season by defeating Westminster College by the final scores of 4-1 and 11-6. With both victories, Webster improves to 19-6 overall and 7-1 in conference play. Left-handed starting pitcher Ryan Greifelt took the mound for his seventh start of the season for game one. Greifelt pitched seven complete innings and struckout a season-high 10 batters. Wilson capped off the team total of 12 strikeouts with two strikeouts. WU's Carter Hunt earned his sixth start of the season and recorded a scoreless inning that included a strikeout. Hunt pitched five innings and recorded six strikeouts. Cade Gebhard pitched three innings and one fanned one batter.

Nichols earned a pair of Sunday afternoon wins against Conference of New England opponent Suffolk from East Boston memorial Park. The Bison earned a 2-1 win before a 7-1 win in game two. Senior Karl Miller finished the day going 3-7 with a home run and two RBI. Sophomore Anthony Hackert added two RBI as well. Senior Andrew Croteau etched his name in Baseball program history, as he played in 156th career game, passing former teammate Kyle Bouchard '20, '22, who held the record at 155 games played.

No. 1 UW-Whitewater (17-0, 8-0 WIAC) kept on swinging the bats in the second day of their conference series against the UW-River Falls (8-9, 3-5). In Game 1, UWW secured a decisive 15-6 victory, while in Game 2, they blasted 6 home runs in only 7 innings for a 23-4 win. UWW picked up right where they left off yesterday with two home runs right off the get-go. Aaron Holland started with a lead-off solo home run to left center, followed by an Adam Cootway two-run homer, giving UWW an early 3-0 lead after just the first inning. UW-River Falls managed to add two more over the sixth & seventh innings while keeping the Warhawks off the base path. The Falcons managed to close in under 10 runs, keeping the game going for the full 9 innings. But the Warhawks used the innings to add four more runs in the 9th to give the Warhawks the 15-6 victory. It was all the Warhawks in the second game, scoring in every single inning but one. The Warhawks racked up 23 runs on 21 hits with six home runs.

No. 8 Trinity (Texas) survived a back-and-forth Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference battle with Schreiner on Sunday afternoon, clinching the weekend series with a 5-4 comeback win. The Tigers (23-7, 18-3 SCAC) had to rally twice to complete the victory over the Mountaineers (9-21, 7-17 SCAC) in today's game. Trinity scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to reclaim the lead and then stranded the tying run at third base in the top of the ninth to clinch the win. Schreiner scored two runs in the first inning for the first lead, then Trinity tied it in the third and took a slim 3-2 lead in the fourth. Schreiner tied things up in the seventh, then pulled back in front with another run in the eighth – setting up Trinity's comeback in the bottom of the inning. Jack Bussard got the starting nod and struck out four Schreiner batters in 2.1 innings of work before making way for Jake Beck. Beck tossed 3.2 shutout innings in relief, allowing just three hits and recording a pair of strikeouts. Brandon Morio got the win to improve to 4-0 and matched Beck with two strikeouts. Jack Briese came on with two outs in the ninth and the tying run at third, inducing a game-ending fly out to right field to finish off the win and collect his second save of the season. Maddox McDonald went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI to lead a trio of Tigers with multi-hit games. Kaleb Woodward was 2-for-5 with two runs scored and one RBI, while Khalfani Coney was 2-for-4 with two runs scored.

An offensive outburst of 29 runs propelled No. 20 Gustavus to a MIAC sweep at Saint John's on Sunday afternoon. The Gusties claimed victories of 17-5 and 12-4, improving to 19-4 overall and 5-0 in the league. Overcoming an early lead in game one, Gustavus poured it on with six runs in the fourth, two in the fifth and four in the subsequent innings. Benny Mcdonald nearly had a complete game on the mound, but was pulled with two outs in the bottom of the seventh. Mcdonald improved to 3-0 after allowing five earned runs on seven hits with three strikeouts. Cody Johnson, making his first appearance of the season, was able to get the final out to secure the win.Game two featured more offense for the Gusties. The Gusties erupted for five runs in the second and this was all they needed. Making his 34th career start on the mound, Luke Siegle tied Rod Swenson '99 for second in program history for starts. Siegle finished the day by earning his fourth win of the season after six innings of work. He struck out three, becoming the fourth pitcher in program history to eclipse 150 career strikeouts, and now has 151 total. Sam Baker pitched the ninth and closed out the game to secure the sweep.

Taking a break from CCIW play, North Central (Ill.) scored 11 runs over two innings to earn a 12-6 victory over the Illinois Tech to sweep the season series on Sunday afternoon at Ed Glancy Field. A solo shot from the Scarlet Hawks evened the score at 1-1 before a double steal gave the hosts a 2-1 edge after one inning. Justin Lang, Jackson Bland and Sucmaci all reached to load the bases for Weinke, who knotted the contest at 2-2 with a sacrifice fly. Henry Saul drove in Bland and Scumaci to double up IIT. A single from Parker Wyatt and an IIT error off the bat of Andre Medina added two additional runs to give North Central a 6-2 lead. The Scarlet Hawks tacked on an unearned run in the bottom of the second inning. With runners on second and third, Wienke scored Bland and Peyton Burgh. Matthew Falzone and Caleb Coberley joined the base paths for Wyatt who launched a grand slam over the outfield fence to put the Cardinals up by nine, 12-3. The Scarlet Hawks scored a run in the sixth, seventh and ninth inning, but North Central secured the 12-6 victory as they improve to 11-13 on the year, winning eight of their last 10 games.

Mitchell pounded out 17 hits and scored 18 runs on Sunday afternoon, routing Dean, 18-2, in Great Northeast Athletic Action action at Alumni Field. After the two squads traded runs in the first inning, the Mariners broke out for five runs in the top of the second, fueled by an RBI double off the bat of Adam Vartanian, a bases loaded walk by Nicholas Bracale, and a sacrifice fly by Michael Ficocelli. Mitchell tacked on two more runs in the fourth, as Michael Gajda and Chas Terni Jr. collected RBI singles, before adding another run in the fifth when Kenneth Miller Jr. drove home Bracale with a run scoring single, making it an 8-1 ballgame. The Bulldogs scraped across a run in the sixth, but the Mariners punched back in a big way, plating nine runs in the top of the seventh, highlighted by a grand slam off the bat of Braiden Alaimo. Sophomore Joshua Scamman tossed three innings of one-run ball to pick up the win. Senior Eddie Kaftan worked three innings of one-run ball out of the bullpen. Ryan Secovich was 2-2 with a pair of runs scored for the Bulldogs. Nick Swain shouldered the loss after allowing six runs in one and two third innings.

Allegheny slugged its way to a 17-7 victory over Franciscan in the second half of their Presidents' Athletic Conference series on Sunday at Robert M. Garbark '32 Field. Sunday's contest was a makeup of the nightcap from Wednesday, which was postponed after the opening game was delayed by more than three hours due to rain throughout the early afternoon. With the win, the Gators (15-8, 8-0 PAC) continued their undefeated streak against PAC opponents, sweeping the first four conference series of 2025. Allegheny once again flexed its muscle at the plate. Two days after hitting a trio of home runs in a doubleheader sweep of Thiel, the Gators smacked three more homers against the Barons (6-13, 1-5 PAC). Tommy Landsnes left the yard for the third time in as many games with a three-run shot in the second inning, while Tyler Skaggs extended his home run streak to two consecutive games with a two-run dinger in the seventh. Leading 16-7 in the bottom of the eighth, Tyson Bryant-Dawson quickly enacted the PAC's 10-run mercy rule, pulverizing the first pitch of the inning over the wall in left to end the game.

Senior Kyle Mulville dished out eight strikeouts in seven innings to lift Elizabethtown, 5-1 over Lycoming to compete the Landmark Conference series sweep. Nick Fiorini hit his first career home run out to right field as he went 3-4 on the day while tallying three RBIs. Fiorini was just a triple short of the cycle. Sawyer Martin went 2-3 with one run, and a RBI. Mulville made quick work of the first two innings on the mound for the Blue Jays to keep the game scoreless until the bottom of the second. Martin led off the inning with a single to left field and advanced on a sacrifice bunt. Fiorini hit a RBI-single to bring home, Martin. After three scoreless innings, Etown added two more runs in the sixth to take a 3-0 lead. Mason Woolwine was brought home on a sacrifice fly for the Jays second run of the game. Fiorini hit a double to left center to score Tommy Kanakos after he reached base via a single. With two outs on the board in the seventh, Woolwine singled to center field and then stole second. AJ Lipscomb singled to third to score Woolwine which extended Etown's lead, 4-0. In the eighth, Fiorini hit a solo shot to right field for the Blue Jays fifth and final run. Lycoming got their lone run across on a ground out in the ninth.
