The Hawks offense continued its hot streak on Thursday defeating West Conn by a 21-3 final in non-conference action. Junior Jackson Ciccone kicked off the scoring in the first inning launching a two-run homer to score sophomore JJ Romatzick who doubled to lead off the inning. In the second the lead got pushed to 7-0 in favor of the visitors. It started with a grand slam for junior John Russell, followed by a RBI ground out for graduate student Jake Santiago. Hartford continued to pour on runs in the top of the fourth as sophomore Alek Popovich got a sacrifice fly, followed by a two-run blast for Santiago. Now trailing by 10 runs the Wolves finally got on the board scoring three runs on four hits in the bottom of the fourth. In the sixth Hartford took the double-digit lead back as Popovich doubled home Ciccone to start things off. A bases loaded walk for junior Ryan Knight added the second run of the inning. Russell followed it up with a two run single followed by a RBI single by Romatzick. Ciccone continued to add the insurance with a two run triple as the Hawks led 17-3. Hartford tacked on four more runs in the seventh as sophomore Peyton West and Russell each homered as the Hawks went on to win 21-3.
Ursinus exploded for 21 hits en route to a 24-2 victory over Valley Forge on Thursday afternoon at Thomas Field. Junior outfielder Mitchell Garber paced the Bears' offense, finishing 4-for-5 with four runs scored and an RBI. Seniors Jude Gilhool and Jakob Cantor each added three hits, while first-year Matthew Callahan tallied a career-high five RBIs. Seniors Cory Burns and Dylan Runsdorf combined for six RBIs and three hits, and sophomore Brandon Sullivan extended his on-base streak to 40 games. The Bers opened their scoring in the first with a pair and was only shutout in the second. A six run fourth set Ursinus on their way to a win with a nine run sixth capped a big offensive day for Ursinus.
Junior Kyle Douin was 4-for-6 at the plate with four runs scored and five RBI to lead a 15-hit attack as the Southern Maine Huskies routed the UMaine Farmington Beavers 21-0 in a non-conference game Thursday afternoon at Ed Flaherty Field. In a planned bullpen day, the Huskies seven different pitchers to hold the Beavers to just two hits in the shutout victory. Sophomore Carson Black earned the win allowing one hit in two innings with a pair of strikeouts. Sophomore Colin McDonald struck out the side in his relief appearance, while junior Kyle Skolfield had four strikeouts in a two-inning appearance. Sophomore Mike Anquillare had four RBI with an eighth inning grand slam to highlight a big offensive day for Southern Maine. Senior Anthony Poole was 3-for-4 at the plate with five runs and a pair of RBI – he also drew three walks. Senior Jack LeBlond, junior Chris Quigley and freshman Drew Scialdone each had two hits. LeBlond had a pair of RBI and a pair of doubles, while Scialdone had a double.
Hardin-Simmons had its best offensive day of the season in a 20-7 run-rule win in seven innings over American Southwest Conference foe Howard Payne on Thursday night at Hunter Field in Abilene. The Cowboys pounded out 24 hits, including 10 straight in an 11-run third inning. Jacob Hollingsworth had a monster game as he tied the HSU single-game record for home runs with three and drove in eight runs in a 4-for-4 effort. Howard Payne jumped out to an early 5-0 lead but it was short lived. Landon Prestage had a two-run home run in the first inning and HPU scored three runs on six hits in the second inning. Cowboy freshman starter Jack Kimsey settled in and did not allow another run until the fifth. He sat down 11 straight in that stretch and he went on to finish the game for his first collegiate win. He allowed seven runs on 11 hits and struck out three. The HSU offense had Kimsey's back as they scored 20 of the games final 22 runs.
Adrian kicked off its series against Hope on the road Thursday afternoon, edging out the Flying Dutchmen in a tightly contested 7-5 win. The Bulldogs held off a late rally by Hope to secure the victory in game one of the series. Adrian struck first in the top of the first inning with an RBI groundout from David Kedrow, taking an early 1-0 lead. Hope responded quickly, tying the game 1-1 in the bottom half. Kedrow struck again in the third, launching a three-run homer to center field to give the Bulldogs a 4-1 lead and tallying his fourth RBI of the game. In the seventh inning, Easton Rogers extended the lead with a sacrifice fly, followed by an infield RBI single from Jake Burns, making it 6-1. Hope plated a run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the seventh, but Rogers answered in the top of the eighth with an RBI single to make it 7-2. The Flying Dutchmen mounted a comeback in the eighth, capitalizing on an Adrian error to score one run and adding two more on a single to left, narrowing the deficit to 7-5. Ryan Davis closed the door in the ninth, pitching a scoreless frame to earn his fourth save of the season and preserve the win.
No. 13 Salve Regina defeated Anna Maria College, 13-6, in non-league action at Reynolds Field on the Newport campus. With their eighth-straight victory, the Seahawks lifted head coach Eric Cirella into the all-time leader list for career wins (319), passing his father, Steve Cirella, who finished his 14-year head coaching stint with 318 wins. Middle infielders Christian Homa and Grady Schopps both went three for four at the plate with the former driving in four and scoring twice and the latter scored three times and knocking in a pair of runners. Nolan Romanowski (W, 3-0) followed starter Brady Shea's three innings of work with four frames and no earned runs. Shea struck out five and Romanowski K'd three. Andrew Wertz pitched two scoreless innings and struck out a pair of AmCats. "I'm lucky to have had a lot of great assistant coaches and players during my tenure as head coach." said Cirella. And I have done enough to not mess up a good thing when we've have it rolling. I am also lucky to have a great mentor (my Dad) to help me out and lean on when things don't come easy. He has more patience than I do. But now I have more wins." This was the 58th meeting on the baseball diamond between Salve Regina and Anna Maria. The Seahawks lead the all-time series with a whopping .896 winning percentage (52-6).
Eastern Mennonite continued their busy final week of the regular season on Thursday, hosting Mary Baldwin for their final home game of the 2025 campaign. The Royals won the first meeting of the season with the Fighting Squirrels in February, and they repeated the feat with a 13-3 win in eight innings to complete the season sweep of the series. In particular, Trevor Gjormand and Hunter Sturgeon enjoyed career days at the ballpark. Gjormand, a sophomore second baseman from Herndon, went a perfect 3-for-3 at the dish while driving in four RBIs. Sturgeon, a senior from Gloucester, went 2-for-3 with a double, his first career multi-hit game in his final game at Royals Field. On the mound, Ryan Gimbel and Colby Eidson collaborated to hold the Fighting Squirrels to just three runs and five hits. Gimbel set a career-high in innings pitched (5.2) and strikeouts (3). The Diamond Royals finished the season with nine home wins, the most victories at Royals Field in a single season since 2019.
Stevenson rallied from a 7-0 deficit after the top of the fourth inning, as the Mustangs (10-26) defeated Wilson (7-24) 11-9 in a non-conference affair on Thursday. The Mustangs took the lead for good with three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning as Jaylon Surell had a two-run single that scored Sam Batiancila and Matt Perri, followed by an RBI single from Dalton Reinhart that scored Graham Sears. Batiancila finished 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI, while Reinhart was 2-for-5 with two runs scored. Liam Houghton had two hits, including a home run to left center in the fifth inning that scored Reinhart and Zack Majeski. Perri and Surell each had two hits in the win. Dhruv Indelicato got the win, allowing one walk in the eighth, while Ari Lonstein got his second save of the season with a 1-2-3 ninth.
Rivier defeated Great Northeast Athletic Conference opponent Lasell by a final score of 4-2 on Thursday afternoon at Harvey Woods Field. The victory marks the program's first over the Lasers since 2016, snapping a 13-game losing streak. It was a pitcher's duel through the first three innings as both squads were held scoreless. Junior righthander Anthony Morro was dominant out of the gate, striking out four batters in that span. While Morro was dealing, Rivier took a 3-0 lead. After a scoreless fifth inning, Lasell recorded its first tally of the contest. In the bottom half of the frame, Rivier responded with a sacrifice fly from first-year Jayce Martinez which allowed the Raiders to regain their three-run lead. The Lasers once again cut the deficit to two runs in the top of the eighth, this time on an RBI double from Connor Freitas. In his second inning of work, junior righthanded reliever Ty Baker shut the door in the top of the ninth, recording his seventh save of the campaign by retiring the side to secure the victory.

Phil Sedalis drove in four runs and Zach Coluccio earned his sixth win as No. 18 Rowan defeated Rutgers-Newark, 10-6, in the first of an NJAC two-game series. The Profs (26-8; 11-4) have won eight in a row as they are in the final week of the regular season. A five-run second inning pushed the Profs ahead early. Tyler Cannon started it off by drawing a bases-loaded walk and Sedalis cleared the bases with a three-run double. Mannino drove in the fifth run with a single to bring home Sedalis. Joey Bogart added one in the third as his sacrifice fly scored Suriani as Rowan was up, 6-0. Rutgers-Newark scored twice in the sixth inning to cut its deficit to 6-2, but the Profs added three runs in the eighth. Kevin Cole scored on a wild pitch, Sedalis drove in Bogart and Mannino hit a sacrifice fly to bring home Karson Harcourt, giving Rowan a 9-2 lead. The Profs added one more in the ninth as Bogart hit a single to score Brayden Davis. Rutgers-Newark made things interesting in the bottom of the ninth as they scored four runs and loaded the bases, before Rice was able to get the final out and secure the win. Sedalis was 2-for-5 at the plate and scored one run with Damon Suriani was also 2-for-5 with two runs while Joey Bogart and Marco Mannino each had two RBI. Coluccio (6-0) was one out short of a complete game as he went 8.2 innings with eight strikeouts. Christian Rice recorded the last out to preserve the win.

Hilbert hosted Alfred State this afternoon in a pair of pivitol AMCC matchups with each team fighting for postseason seeding. When the action began, Hilbert used clutch hitting and seven strong innings from Dylan Moorhouse to earn a 3-2 walk-off win in game one, before falling 14-2 in game two for the split. After allowing two runs in the top of the first (neither earned) Moorhouse settled in and shut down the Pioneers' lineup over the rest of the game to keep the Hawks in it. The senior right-hander, who moved into second on the program's all-time wins list following the contest, went seven innings, allowing just four hits, one walk, and no earned runs, while striking out seven batters. Offensively, Hilbert struggled early on, but following a Dustin Hendrix leadoff double in fifth, Austin Wasily sent his first career home run over the wall in right to tie the game, before Joey Haynes' second hit of the game scored Billy LoBello in the bottom of the seventh to walk-off game one. The Hawks recorded just four hits in the night cap, but Kyle Borrello had himself a huge day at the plate as the senior right fielder went 2-2 with a pair of solo home runs. Harley Hoag and David Earsing each poked a base hit, while five pitchers saw action on the mound in the game for Hilbert with senior Matthew Whelan tossing a scoreless seventh frame.
Eastern Connecticut State leadoff hitter Ray Leonzi continued a remarkable individual season, pushing his batting average over .400 and his on-base percentage over .500 in leading the Warriors to a 15-10 non-conference baseball win over WPI Thursday evening at the Eastern Baseball Stadium. After returning home for the first time in 11 days -- where it won five of six road games over eight days -- Eastern (23-8) won for the 16th time in its last 20 games. In a game that was at once not as close and yet closer than the final score would indicate, Eastern broke a 5-5 tie by scoring nine times in the seventh inning on just three hits (helped immensely by six walks and three errors to take a 14-5, then promptly giving five of them back in the ninth. Two errors opened that WPI ninth (13-20) and with two out, a single, four straight walks and a hit-by-pitch to the next six batters had the tying run on deck before senior righty Tiernan Powers (Haddam Neck) ended the suspense and the game by inducing No. 3 hitter Tommy Burns to fly to Leonzi in medium-deep center field. Leonzi reached base five times for the fourth time this season and scored four runs for the third time (in the last ten games). He singled in his first two bats, and walked and scored in his final three plate appearances.
Ripon scored three runs each in two different innings and allowed just four total hits in a 7-2 win over Marian on Thursday afternoon at Francis Field. After a fast-moving and scoreless first inning, Ripon (13-18) struck first in the bottom of the second. With runners on first and second, a one-out single by Brock Peterson brought home Alex Pankratz for the first run of the game. Two batters later, Jason Clark walked a run in with the bases loaded. The next at-bat, Jack Anderson scored Peterson on a sacrifice fly and quickly, the lead was 3-0. The lead was cut in half in the fifth, as a two-out Ripon error plated Marian's second and final run of the day. However, Ripon scored three more times in the fifth on three consecutive at-bats to go up 6-2. Ripon's final run of the day scored in the seventh as Clark crossed home on a two-out passed ball. Orion Rieden tossed a scoreless ninth and Ripon headed into a critical weekend of Midwest Conference play with a non-conference win.
Ramapo came back to defeat the College of New Jersey, 8-2. The Roadrunners improve to 24-11 overall and 8-7 in the NJAC while the Lions fall to 21-15 overall and 8-7 in the league. Ramapo jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead after two innings of action. Julian Caruso drove in Jesse Swartout when he beat out an infield single before the throw was misplayed by the TCNJ defense allowing Matt Lalomia to score. The Lions tied the game up with two unearned runs in the fourth inning before Ramapo retook the lead in the fifth. Caruso led off the inning with a bunt single before Zack Bailey laced a double down the left field line to put runners at second and third. Dominic Ciani recorded a sac fly to center field which plated Caruso as Bailey moved to third base. Following the second out of the inning, John Higgins laced a single to plate Bailey for the 4-2 lead. In the seventh, Bailey doubled with one out before Ciani was intentionally walked. The Lions got the second out of the inning on a fly out before Higgins walked to load the bases. Bailey later scored on a wild pitch before Ciani scored on an infield single from Swartout, 6-2. Swartout and Higgins each stole before Lalomia laced a single through the left side of the infield to plate both runs, 8-2.
The Augustana Vikings won a high-scoring battle with the Knox Prairie Fire on Thursday by a score of 16-7. The Vikings struck first with a four-spot in their opening at-bat, beginning with a pair of runs off of a fielder's choice and an error. Colton Davis added two more to the early total with a single to left field to make it a 4-0 lead for Augie exiting the first. A double steal in the second and a wild pitch in the third accounted for the next two tallies as the Vikings saw a 6-0 margin entering the fourth. Knox got two back in the fourth, but was met by six from Augustana in the fifth. After an error and hit batter brought in the first two scores, Dymitri Kanellakis cleared the bases with a three-run double and later crossed home plate after a bases-loaded walk was issued to Ryan Theile. The Praire Fire added three in the sixth and one in the seventh to avoid the run rule and extend the game. A fielder's choice by Cole Green and groundout from Grant Biggins each resulted in runs scored in the bottom of the seventh to bring the score to 14-6 entering the eighth. Each team scored in the eighth, with Knox plating one in the top half to cut the differential to seven. A bases-loaded balk and walk accounted for the final two runs of the game for Augie, with a scoreless ninth to follow to complete the 16-7 final. The Vikings had eight hits in the win, led by Kanellakis and Davis each with two.
A.T. DiPina went 5-for-5 with three runs scored to help Wentworth roll to its fourth straight win with a 14-4 triumph over New England College in non-conference action Thursday night. After a scoreless first inning, Wentworth came across the plate four times in the second inning to take a 4-0 lead, adding two in the third to make it 6-0. New England College cut the lead to 7-4 in the seventh only the Leopards come back to restore a seven run lead. Michael Archambault picked up the win (1-2) as he allowed two runs on six hits and struck out four in six innings of work. Tucker Boys allowed a pair of runs (one earned) in an inning of work, while Bennett Leary allowed just one hit in a scoreless eighth, and Jacob DeCoste finished the game by setting down the side in the ninth. DiPina's five hits in a game ties him for the second most in a contest in program history. Christan Roncal finished 2-for-3 (both doubles) with two RBI, while Matthew Favazzo was 2-for-4. This marked the 37th all-time meeting between the two teams and the first since the 2017 season. Winners of the last three meetings, Wentworth holds a 25-12 series advantage.
Senior Aidan Pinto had a two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth, and after junior Elias Brooks tied the game with a two-run single, delivered the game-winning hit as Randolph-Macon nipped Mary Washington 7-6 on Thursday afternoon. UMW scored three unearned runs in the sixth and added two in the seventh before RMC started its comeback in the bottom of the seventh. The Eagles stranded a pair in the top of the eighth before the Yellow Jackets continued to cut into the deficit in the bottom of the frame. Brooks led off the inning with a pinch-hit single. One out later, Pinto launched a homer to left as RMC pulled to within two at 6-4. In the ninth, Carter Schmitt walked and went to second on a single to right by Aaron Lautenschlager. Logan Duff walked to load the bases. Brooks hit the first pitch he saw to knock in Schmitt and Lautenschlager, tying the game at 6-6. Senior pinch-hitter Cole Mallory was hit by a pitch to reload the bases. Against a drawn-in infield, Pinto singled up the middle to plate Duff with the game-winner.
Fifth-year shortstop Izaiah Rivera went 2-for-4, scored two runs and belted the go-ahead two-run homer as Rhode Island College defeated MIT, 8-6, at Pontarelli Field on Thursday afternoon. The Engineers were quick to take a lead as a two-run homer in the second inning and an error by the Anchormen in third gave MIT a 3-0 advantage. Fifth-year catcher David Iannuccilli came to the plate in the fourth frame with the bases loaded and was hit by a pitch to bring in the first run for the Anchormen. RIC tied the game up in the fifth as the hosts scored on a throwing error and fifth-year third baseman Cal Parrillo evened the contest with an RBI single. Both teams scored a run in the sixth and the Anchormen took their first lead in the seventh as Iannuccilli registered an RBI single and junior center fielder Jeren Pimentel scored on an overthrown pickoff attempt. The visitors tied the contest back up in the top of the eighth, but it was Rivera who would put the hosts back on top for good with a two-run blast in the bottom half of the eighth. Parrillo went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Freshman pitcher Jaden Lovell registered his first career win (1-0). Sophomore Alexander Iannuccilli picked up his first career save.
Dean completed their series sweep on Thursday over Gordon, taking the win by a 4-2 score. Dean now moves to 10-26 (5-10) on the season, while Gordon drops to 15-18. The Bulldogs capitalized early, scoring four runs in the first inning. Jadon Murakami (Aiea, HI) reached first on a fielding error by Gordon's first baseman, allowing Bert Maxim to score unearned. Nathan Suncar then singled to left field, driving in Rylan Secovich, who had advanced to third, and Murakami, who had reached base on the error. The inning concluded with Suncar advancing to third on a wild pitch and later scoring on a sacrifice fly by Nick Amendolara, giving Dean a commanding 4–0 lead. Gordon College responded in the fifth inning, breaking the shutout with a single run. The Scots added another run in the eighth inning, narrowing the gap to 4–2. However, Dean's pitching staff, led by Styles Hucul, maintained control throughout the game. Hucul earned the win, improving his record to 1–0, while Owen Critchley secured the save, his first of the season.
Fighting for a berth in the upcoming six-team New Jersey Athletic Conference playoffs, every game on the remaining schedule is important to Rutgers-Camden, and the Scarlet Raptors took care of business here Thursday in the first of their final four regular-season contests. Graduate hurler Ethan Carpenter pitched seven strong innings and the Scarlet Raptors backed him with an 11-hit attack as the Scarlet Raptors defeated Montclair State, 8-3. Carpenter earned his 16th career win, the fourth-highest total in program history and only two behind the two-way tie for first place at 18 victories. He received plenty of defensive help, including a stellar game at shortstop by freshman Chris Smith, an outstanding catch in center field by senior Steven Shaffer and a strong throw from right fielder Brandon Petrick to nab a runner rounding second base following a single. Offensively, in addition to Frankie Romond's 3-for-5, Petrick went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs, while Jack Murphy went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs. Murphy raised his program career record to 142 RBIs. The win lifted the Scarlet Raptors into a three-way tie for sixth place in the conference with Stockton University and Rutgers University-Newark, all with 7-8 NJAC marks.
Graduate student Thomas Parisi, junior Zander Teator and first-year Gabe Cushner combined for eight hits and nine RBI as Babson outslugged Johnson & Wales, 17-12, in non-conference action on Thursday afternoon at Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex. With the win, Babson captured its eighth straight victory and improved to 22-8 overall. Johnson & Wales has alternated wins and losses over its last six games and is now 21-13 on the season. Parisi went 3-for-5 with a double and four RBI, Teater was 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI, and five runs scored, and Cushner had two hits with three RBI and three runs scored after clouting his second home run of the season. Graduate student Tanner Santos added three hits, senior Justin Guest had two hits and an RBI, graduate students Brant Savage had a single and a double and scored three times, and graduate student Jack Julian knocked in a pair of runs. First-year Trafton O'Brien earned his first career win in relief with a two-inning stint, allowing two runs on two hits while striking out two. Senior Xavier Botelho had a monster game for the Wildcats, going 5-for-5 with three RBI. Classmate Ryan St. Jean had three hits and two RBI.
