Wisconsin Lutheran College erupted for seven runs in the fifth inning and finished with 14 hits to defeat Pitt.-Bradford, 16-6, in eight innings on Thursday at Terry Park during the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic. Wisconsin Lutheran regained the advantage in the fourth and broke the game open with a seven-run bottom half. Wisconsin Lutheran took advantage of a throwing error before RBI hits from freshman Will Winiarz and Colt Ratliff highlighted the rally, pushing the lead to 12-3. Junior Ian Rintelman and Ratliff hit back-to-back solo homers later in the inning to stretch the lead to 15-6. WLC ended the game in the eighth when Winiarz doubled down the left-field line to score Burington for the final run. Ratliff led Wisconsin Lutheran at the plate, going 4-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI. Five pitchers combined to limit UPB to nine hits. Trent Bielak paced Pitt.-Bradford (1-9) with three hits and two RBI.
North Park exploded for 16 runs in the first four innings and rode a long outing from left-hander Jason Schmierer to defeat Mount Saint Mary 19-7 in a seven-inning short game to begin the RussMatt Invitational on Thursday morning. The win extends the Vikings' win streak to four-straight games. North Park immediately pressured Mount Saint Mary starter Kyle Fives, producing a three-run first inning and then broke the game open with a five-run burst in the second. With four runs in the third and fourth had North Park rolling. The Vikings scored in six of their eight turns at the plate and posted 15 hits, including six doubles, a triple, and a three-run home run by junior catcher Reyn Matsuzaki.
U.S. Merchant Marine Academy won its third straight game with an 18–4 victory over Heidelberg on Thursday afternoon at Lawnwood Sports Complex. The Mariners improve to 3-1 on the season, while the Student Princes drop to 6-5 overall. The Blue and Gray jumped out to an early lead in the bottom of the first inning when freshman Ryan Melton ripped a two-run double down the left field line to give USMMA a 2–0 advantage. Merchant Marine broke the game open in the fourth inning with four runs. Kings Point continued to pile on as they increased the advantage to 12–1. The Blue and Gray put the game out of reach with a six-run seventh inning. Heidelberg added one final run on an RBI double in the seventh, but the Mariners' offensive explosion was too much as they picked up the 18-4 victory.
Zach Coluccio recorded a career-high 11 strikeouts to lead No 8 Rowan to an 18-1 victory over Keystone in the Profs' opening game of their Spring Break trip at the RussMatt Invitational. Mason Dorsey and Kyle Lamanteer had three hits each, and Damon Suriani drove in four runs, as Rowan (4-0) scored nine runs in the ninth inning to record the rout. Coluccio (2-0) went seven innings and scattered five hits, with the only run coming on a Keystone (6-7) home run by in the seventh inning. Dane Samartino made his Rowan debut and went 1.2 innings without allowing a run or a hit. The Profs went up 3-0 in the third inning as Damon Suriani was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, Jason Schooley hit a sacrifice fly and Nick Struble singled. Rowan added three more in the fifth, two runs in the sixth and seventh innings. Keystone ended the shutout bid in the seventh as Benny Hess homered. In the nine-run final inning, Rowan was helped by six walks or hit batters from the Giants' pitchers. Among the big hits were RBI singles from Suriani and Schooley and a two-run single by Dorsey.
Penn State Behrend registered a 7-1 win over Lasalle on Thursday afternoon in Fort Pierce, Florida. Jake Manendo worked six innings and fanned eight batters for the win with Chase Caricato in relief. He pitched the final three innings, allowing one hit. The Lions went up 3-0 in the second inning and on the strength of a Tyler Burick homer. extend the lead to 6-1. Behrend scored the final run in the seventh when Hank Shaffer walked and Paul Connolly hit a sacrifice fly to send him home.
Marywood scored 26 games in a two-game split on Thursday. The Pacers defeated Washington (Md.) 17-15 and fell to Northwestern (Minn.) 12-9 on their Spring Break trip. In the opener, the Pacers never relinquished an early six-run lead in a bonkers game that featured 32 runs and 28 hits. After Marywood gave up a Brett Connolly home run to lead off the bottom of the ninth, Aidan Dolan came in to shut down three batters for his first save. Evan Bruder became just the ninth batter in Marywood history to finish with five base hits in a single game. He scored two runs and drove in four RBIs. In the nightcap, the Northwestern Eagles used a five-run eighth inning in a comeback win over the Pacers.
Three pitchers combined to throw a two-hit shutout, as Olivet edged Otterbein 1-0 tonight at the Polo Grounds Field and on its final day of the Ripken Baseball Tournament. The Comets scored the only run in the top of fifth inning. Freshman Mario Ricard led off with an infield single. Senior Owen Smith's sacrifice but advanced him to second base. Senior Tyler Duncan then lined a double into the left-center field gap to score Ricard. The three Olivet pitchers did not allow any Cardinal base runners to reach third base. Otterbein retired 1-2-3 in five of the nine innings. Senior Bryan Carney started on the mound and allowed two hits over the first seven innings to improve his season record to 3-1. Junior Austin Wittrock pitched the eighth inning, while junior Logan Lewis threw the ninth to pick-up his third save. The last time Olivet won a game by a 1-0 final score was May 6, 2017, against Alma College. Ricard's four stolen bases ties the most swipes in a game since the 2003 season.
WPI scored six runs in the seventh inning and held off a late rally to defeat Hilbert, 8-6, on Thursday afternoon at Griffith Field as part of the Myrtle Beach Spring Break Tournament. The Engineers improve to 6-0 on the season, while the Hawks fall to 7-6. Matt Shea led the WPI offense with three hits and an RBI, while Jacob Wiberg added two hits, including a double, and drove in a run. Chuck Cappello and Zachary Roethlein (Pomfret Center, CT) each recorded two hits and an RBI, while Camden Willems, Jack Zawacki, and Joe DiMichele also drove in runs for the Engineers. Luke Blandino started on the mound for WPI and tossed four scoreless innings, allowing three hits while striking out five. Alex Hee earned the win in relief to improve to 2-0 after giving up one run over three innings with three strikeouts. Mason Walls closed the game to secure his third save of the season. Hilbert was led by Reed Lesmeister, who went 2-for-3 with a double, a three-run home run, and four RBI. Patrick Evans added two hits and scored three runs, while Shane Pray collected two hits and drove in a run. Gregory Lowry suffered the loss after allowing five runs (four earned) on eight hits over 6.2 innings with six strikeouts.
Senior catcher Colin Leslie upped the pickoff counter to eight, then junior third baseman Zack Barienbrock walked off Allegheny in the 10th inning, as Wooster upped its winning streak to eight with its 8-7 victory on Thursday at Art Murray Field. Wooster (10-2) rallied back to tie Thursday's game at seven in the eighth inning, turning to the intentional rundown for the tying run. First-year right fielder Bennett Grossman was the one tasked with avoiding the tag until sophomore Aidan Krantz sped home from third. Wooster had the winning run on third in the ninth, but a fly ball was tracked down by Allegheny's Liam Irving to send the game to extras. Sophomore second baseman David Guldin lofted a triple into the right field corner to lead off the bottom of the 10th inning. Allegheny (6-5) intentionally walked the bases loaded to turn the lineup over to Barienbrock, a near-.500 hitter. He laced the winning single through the left side of the infield.
Rockford took on the Alfred State College Pioneers in a doubleheader on Thursday. The Regents swept the Pioneers, beating them 6-5 in game one and 3-1 in game two. Trent Lawrence was dynamite with runners in scoring position. He went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. Marcus Taylor kept up his hot week at the plate, going 1-for-2 with a walk and a two-run bomb over the left field wall. Kadin Bergstrom was 2-for-3 with two singles. Zach Fabis earned his third win of the season in just under six innings of action. He struck out six and went into the sixth inning surrendering just one hit. Sidney Atkins took over for the final out of the sixth and got the outs he needed to secure his third save of the year. In the nightcap, Taylor mashed again. He was 2-for-4 with an RBI double and a stolen base. Zach Fabis moved to center field for game two and went 2-for-3 with two singles at the dish. Bartolo Rodriguez was fantastic on the mound. He went the full seven innings, giving up just two hits to the Pioneers and striking out six.
Rochester is winding down its spring break trip in Florida and ended up splitting a doubleheader versus Dickinson on Thursday at the RussMatt Invitational at the Chain of Lakes Sports Complex. Rochester took the opener 9-6, while the Red Devils answered with a victory in game two, winning 8-3. The split sees UR move to 7-2 overall on the season, while Dickinson sits at 8-5 at this point in 2026. Eight of nine batters in the Yellowjacket lineup recorded hits and runs scored as the Yellowjackets took the opener, using two big innings, putting up four runs in both the third and fifth. The Red Devils picked up the game two win, scoring eight runs on eight hits, also capitalizing on four walks and five hit batters from a trio of Yellowjacket pitchers.
Penn State Brandywine recorded a walk-off, 3-2 victory in game one, while Dominican claimed game two by a 9-2 score as the teams split a doubleheader Thursday at the RussMatt Baseball Invitational. Jason Hankins' two-out single walked Brandywine off with a victory to start the day in a 3-2 game one victory. Seven Lions recorded a hit, including Ivano Romaniello, who also stole three bases. Josh Hess struck out four of the seven batters he faced, including the side in the sixth inning, and earned the win. Hess pitched the game's final two frames in relief of Gianni Serenelli, who fanned three and allowed two runs on four hits in five innings. The Stars rebounded to win the nightcap after limiting Brandywine to just three hits. Dominican's offense put runs on the board during every inning except the fourth against a trio of Brandywine pitchers.
Thomas earned their first win of the season, 8-6, in a doubleheader against Western New England in the team's final matchups on their annual spring trip to Florida. WNE won 2-12 in game two. In game one, the Golden Bears were able to battle back, scoring three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to make it five a piece. In the top of the eighth inning a clutch single to right field from Gavin Clark scored Ajay Rychcik and Zeke Rand, giving the Terriers a two run lead with just three outs to go. In the bottom of the inning Brody Walsh got the nod to pitch, only allowing two hits and striking out two batters while earning a save to confirm the 8-6 win. The Golden Bears struck first in game two, hitting a double that gave them a 1-0 lead and went on to score at least one run in every inning. Despite the best efforts of the Terriers, the Golden Bear's consistency went through all seven innings, with the game ending in a 2-12 loss.
Bethany defeated Minnesota-Morris by a final score of 3-1 in a non-conference game at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational at Lake Myrtle Park. At the plate, sophomore center fielder Niko Heidt went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two stolen bases. Freshman catcher Kolton Smittle also added two hits and scored one run. On the mound, Sonny Peluchette struck out five through four innings where he held the Cougars to one earned run on three hits and two walks. Freshman right-hander Billy Sloan got his first career win as he pitched five innings of one-hit ball and had two strikeouts.

Nichols exploded for 19 hits and five home runs on the way to a 17-6 victory over Immaculata in their first game in the Ripken Experience at Socastee High School Field. The Bison scored in six different innings and built an early lead that they never let up. Nichols wasted no time getting on the board and continued to add to their advantage pushing the lead to 8-0. Immaculata got on the board in the third and fourth innings, but Nichols answered immediately in the fourth and fifth inning when Collin Harty, Andrew Rocca, and Charles Macelhiney got RBIs, extending the lead to 11-2. Rocca led the offensive surge with a perfect 4-for-4 performance, scoring three runs and driving in three. Flynn added three runs and two hits, while Galvan recorded two hits and two RBI. Harty, Hackert, and Ladouceur each drove in multiple runs as the Bison finished with 15 RBI in the contest. Ladouceur, Galvan, and Rocca's home runs were the first of their collegiate careers.
Calvin split its doubleheader with Clarkson on Thursday at Northeast Regional Park. Calvin (6-6) won game one 2-0 before Clarkson (4-3) won game two 9-4. Calvin got a shutout from starting pitcher Noah Etnyre and a home run from Landen Mikula to win a quick-moving game one 2-0.Clarkson started strong with nine early runs and held the Knights' offense in check until the final innings on the way to a 9-4 game-two win to secure the split.
Russell Sage continued their spring break trip in Florida on Thursday as they defeated the University of Southern Maine 14-11 in eleven innings. The Gators (4-2) held an 8-1 lead heading into the bottom of the seventh, where the Huskies put up six runs to bring the RSC lead to one. After RSC tacked on a few more and led 11-8 heading into the bottom of the ninth, Southern Maine used two big flies to square the game up at eleven. That score stuck until the eleventh inning, where the Gator offense delivered a three-run inning and picked up the victory on Thursday night. Senior Joe Karpierz drove in five runs on four hits, while junior Jayden Kennedy drove in three runs on three hits.
Buena Vista opened a three-game series against Rhodes, defeating the Lynx 7-6, on Thursday afternoon with a game that was moved to here to USA Baseball Stadium due to rainy conditions throughout the day in Memphis, Tenn. With the game tied at 5-5 going to the eighth inning, the Beavers took their first lead of the day after scoring a pair of runs to go in front 7-5. Sophomore Connor Duong lifted a 2-0 pitch out into left center field to put BVU in front while sophomore Jack Schmaltz came on and sent an RBI single into right for a big insurance run. Rhodes (9-4) loaded the bases with one out in the bottom half of the frame and got one run back on a fielder's choice force out at second base before Dan Meis worked out of the jam by recording his only strikeout over 1.2 innings of relief en route to his first career victory. Junior Jake Eddie came on to pitch the ninth and worked around a one-out single to earn his first save of the year and the second of his career.
Sophomore Justin Orridge cracked a 2-run homer in the top of the 10th inning Thursday, sparking a five-run outburst that carried Amherst to a 15-10 triumph in a wild, seesawing, extra-inning affair at Granger Field. The Mammoths improved to 3-1 on the season and now head to Florida for a six-game spring break trip. First up is Babson Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Lake Myrtle Complex's Main Field. The Cougars fell to 6-3 with the defeat. The turning point came in the top of the seventh, when Amherst sent 12 batters to the plate and scored seven runs to break open what had been a tight contest. Clark answered with four runs in the bottom half of the seventh to knot the score. In the top of the 10th, Amherst delivered its second offensive explosion of the afternoon. Tyler McCord opened the inning with a double, and Orridge followed with a towering two-run home run to snap the 10-10 tie. After a walk and a hit-by-pitch, Amherst added another run on a wild pitch. Moments later, catcher J.J. Grimes, who had entered as a late substitution, launched a two-run homer — his first hit of the season — to put the game out of reach. Reliever Matt Tabet closed the door in the bottom of the inning to secure the victory.
Southwestern sophomore Darion Rogers led the Pirates to a massive bound back 5-2 victory in game one of the three-game series against Muhlenberg College on Thursday night. The Pirates pitching staff desperately needed a big performance after two ugly performances to start the week against nationally ranked squads. Rogers stepped up for a career-night, tossing eight innings with only one earned run on five strikeouts. Southwestern manufactured their first three runs with heads up play on the base paths. Sophomore Chase Adams continues his strong 2026 with an RBI single, while junior Owen Stevenson followed his at bat with another single to improve the Pirates early lead to 5-0 after three innings. The Mules cut the Pirates lead to 5-1 on an unearned run in the fifth. The innings continued to pass as Rogers didn't show any signs of slowing down as the sophomore mowed down three straight Mules in the seventh. Rogers returned in the eighth, surrendering two singles as Head Coach J.C. Bunch showed immense confidence in his sophomore to leave him in. Rogers got the next Mule to fly out to senior Tres Organ to escape the eighth unharmed. The sophomore hurler was trusted to return for the ninth before surrendering an opening single to conclude his night. Organ entered the game, allowing an RBI single. The two-way standout struck out three in the frame to clinch the save and most importantly a Pirates win.
Skidmore used a six-run fourth inning highlighted by three home runs to pull away from Pitt.-Bradford and earn a 10–5 victory Thursday afternoon. The win is Skidmore's fourth in a row and moves the team to 6-1 on year. Jack Riva had a huge day at the plate, going 4-for-4 with two doubles, a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored. He was a triple short of the cycle. Mac Cady and Landon Schwartzman homered back-to-back to put an exclamation point on the huge fourth inning. Riva's and Cady's were two-run bombs. Skidmore scored 10 runs on 13 hits to secure the win. Colby Bohnen earned the win, allowing one run on three hits over five innings while striking out five. Griffin Adams delivered a scoreless inning of relief, and Will Markwood recorded the final six outs, striking out four.
Swarthmore capped off its spring break trip with a 17-10 thumping against SUNY Cobleskill on Thursday afternoon. Leor Kedar capped off one of the best individual weeks in program history with a Centennial Conference record four-homer game. The sophomore became the first player in conference history to hit four home runs in a single game, surpassing the previous mark of three homers shared by 18 Centennial athletes. Kedar went 5-for-6 with five RBI, five runs, and a walk, recording his third five-hit performance of the week. A day earlier, the Garnet leadoff hitter went 5-for-5 and finished a home run shy of the cycle. The reigning Centennial Player of the Week went 23-for-33 (.697) with six home runs, 15 RBI, 16 runs, and four walks during the seven-game stretch. The Garnet leadoff hitter wasn't the only player who partook in the Swarthmore slugfest. Alessandro Propper-Bowring totaled three hits with two homers and a triple, while Aidan Sullivan went 4-for-6 with three runs and two doubles. Nathaniel Kittredge also drove home four RBI in a three-hit performance.
Franklin head coach Lance Marshall had his eye on Drew Helton from the time he entered high school. On Thursday afternoon, Helton showed why. The sophomore first baseman, a native of nearby Whiteland, Indiana who transferred in from Fort Wayne, went 4 for 5 with six runs batted in to lead the Grizzlies to a comfortable 13-2 victory at Wilmington. "It's always tough to go on the road and win, so pleased in that regard," Marshall said. Helton got the Griz on the board in the top of the first, scoring Girvan with a double down the right field line. After Wilmington tied it up in the bottom of the inning, Helton came up with the bases loaded in the second and singled in a pair of runs to make it 3-1. Dyllan Redmon added an RBI single in the fifth and Garrett DeHart scored on a wild pitch in the sixth before Franklin added three more in the seventh — two on a Girvan double that plated Nic Deering and Colin Goley, and one more on a Helton single. After Wilmington scored once more in the bottom of the seventh, the Grizzlies effectively ended the game with a four-run eighth. Girvan doubled to right to score Brady Redman before another Helton two-bagger brought in Deering and Girvan. Jaxon Henke then scored Helton with an RBI triple to right field. All of that offense was more than enough for Griz starter Chase Wagner, who struck out six over six innings while giving up one run on just two hits and a walk. Michael Carter and Anthony Supe each tossed one inning of relief to finish off the win.
