Sophomore pitcher Kyle Hart (Burbank, CA) took the hill for the University of Redlands baseball team on Saturday, matching his season-high eight innings while giving up only two runs on three hits against Cal Lutheran University. Beyond fanning four Kingsmen en route to his eighth straight victory, Hart's strong start gave the Bulldogs plenty of comfort, which led to a solid 10-2 performance in Thousand Oaks.

Redlands scored early and often by pushing across two first-inning runs, followed by runs in four subsequent innings.

Junior designated hitter Trenton Lively (La Verne, CA), who stepped up in Friday's late-inning heroics, came through again for the Bulldogs by going 3-for-4 at the dish. He drove in three RBI, scored a run and drew a walk.

Senior left fielder Brandon Owashi (San Diego, CA) and sophomore third baseman Jason Henning (Redlands, CA) each tallied three knocks of their own in the contest.

Junior shortstop Chase Tucker (Poway, CA) enjoyed a solid day at the plate, smacking two hits while connecting on a home run for the Bulldogs. Tucker also swiped a steal, which tied him with Owashi for the team-lead at nine overall.

All of the starting players safely reached base with eight of them collecting a base hit.

UR has now scored 10 or more runs on 13 occasions in 2011.

Redlands (24-8, 18-5) travels to the University of La Verne on Sunday to face off against the Leopards at 1 p.m.
