Short Story: Johns Hopkins head coach Bob Babb won his 1,056^th career game, 5-3 over host Dickinson, Friday and it may have been the first time his winning pitcher and closer shared the same last name.Nick Burns got the start for the Blue Jays and was dominant over 8.1 innings, scattering four hits and striking out six, while not allowing a walk. Carter Burns came in with the tying runner on second and two outs and was able to get a groundout to earn his first-career save. Conor Reynolds, Raul Shah andMitch Weaver led the Blue Jays' offense as each recorded two hits and helped lead Hopkins to a season sweep of Dickinson.

Hopkins struck first, tallying a run in the second and third innings to go ahead 2-0. The first JHU run scored when Tommy Mee advanced home on a wild pitch and Shah doubled the lead an inning later when he hit an RBI single.

- Dickinson scored in the bottom of the fourth, marking the first time in 13 innings a Red Devils' runner touched home against JHU pitchers.
- Hopkins quickly answered with a pair of runs with two outs in the top of the fifth inning. Shah once again came up big with an RBI single and it was followed up with another run-scoring single, this time off the bat of Alex Darwiche.
- Ryan Orgielewicz hit his third home run of the season in the top of the eighth to give the Jays a 5-1 lead.
- Dickinson did not go down without a fight in the home half of the ninth inning. The Red Devils scored a pair of runs and had the bases loaded with two outs when Carter Burns entered the game. The senior captain induced a groundball to third base to help clinch the win for JHU.
