Kemal Deljanin smacked two homers, including a three-run homer in the ninth inning, for a 10-5 victory against the Beavers of CCNY on Friday afternoon.

Deljanin totaled five RBI, while Michael McGroarty, Davic Capellan, and Nicholas Valeriano each had three hits to keep the visiting Bearcats in a comfortable CUNYAC first place standing at 8-2.

Nicholas D'Angelo earned the win in relief with a 1.1 inning effort with no runs and two strikeouts.

The Bearcats started the rally in the ninth with one out and benefited from two errors.

Angelo Alessandro reached base on an error, Cappellan walked, and Valeriano smacked an infield single to plate Alessandro to tie the game.

Valeriano then stole second, but a throwing error on the play enabled Cappelan to walk home for what stood as the winning run.

Deljanin's three-run homer in that ninth inning provided the extra insurance.

Overall, the Bearcats totaled 10 runs on 17 hits in today's win that stretched their win streak to a season-high five.

They have been on fire during the past three wins totaling 35 runs on 46 hits.

The three-game series will resume tomorrow at the updated time of 11:00 a.m. and updated location of Silver Lake Park in West Harrison, New York.

The team will honor nine players in between the games on Bearcats Appreciation Day.
