LANCASTER, Pa. -- After leading the Marymount University baseball team to another Atlantic East Conference series sweep over Neumann University, Alex Lemery and Ryan Bergenhagen were recognized by the conference as the Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively.

Lemery was a terror for the Knights' pitchers throughout the week. The junior slashed .545/.667/1.455 as he bludgeoned Neumann at the dish. Lemery spattered six hits across the three contests and ended with week 10 RBI and six runs. The Fairfax, Virginia, native slugged three home runs and one double to pick up his second weekly honor of the season. He opened the series with a 2-for-3 day at the dish with two homers in an 11-3 win. In the 11-8 win in the series finale, Lemery tallied a career-best four hits and four RBI.

Bergenhagen shut down Neumann to pick up his fifth win of the year in an 11-3 drubbing. He tossed a season-high seven innings and allowed just one earned run. The most impressive part of Bergenhagen's outing was his command of the strike zone. The product of Chesterfield, Virginia, sat down a career-high 10 batters to roll through the Knights. Bergenhagen is now up to 111 strikeouts for his career.

The Saints have a week-long layoff before they return to action on Friday, April 30, against Immaculata University. Opening pitch against the Mighty Macs is set for 1 p.m.
