Benedictine Rallies to Fourth Straight

AUBURNDALE, FL - Kevin Bushnell hit a pair of homers as the Benedictine University baseball team rallied from deficits of 4-0 and 5-1 to defeat UW-Eau Claire in Florida.

UW-Eau Claire broke open a scoreless game in the top of the third, scoring four runs with two outs
Benedictine was able to get one back in the bottom of the inning
Alex Cameron scored when Bushnell reached on an error with two outs
Another two-out run in the fourth extended the UW-Eau Claire edge to 5-1
Andrew Tenison walked to lead off the bottom of the inning and scored on a single by Cameron
With two outs Ryan Doubek singled to bring Benedictine within 5-3

Bushnell hit his first homer in the sixth, scoring Anthony Lenza in front of him to make the score 9-5
UW-Eau Claire scored a single run in the seventh against the bullpen to cut into the deficit
Bushnell's second homer in the eighth put the game out of reach, a three-run shot after the first two batters reached in front of him
UW-Eau Claire scored twice in the ninth but could get no closer

Robbie Dudzinski made the start and earned the win, working six innings while striking out 10
Ty Liaromatis worked 2.1 innings and Tenison notched the final two outs
