RICHMOND, Va. – Senior Hunter Cole (Norfolk, Va./Granby), the ODAC Player of the Year who missed Thursday's game, had a double and a homer with two RBI as the fourth-seeded and 16th-ranked Randolph-Macon baseball team dropped a 10-3 decision to third-seeded Roanoke on Friday in an elimination game in the ODAC Championship.

How It Happened
- Cole led off the game with a double on the second pitch of the game but was stranded on second base.
- The Maroons put up three in the first and two in the second. Senior Carter Johnson (Southampton, Va./Southampton) had a one-out double in the fourth for the Yellow Jackets but could not advance. RC added single runs in the fourth and fifth to push the lead to 7-0.
- RMC got on the board in the eighth. Junior Matt Myers (Hampstead, Md./Manchester Valley) had a leadoff single and scored when Cole lined a homer to right, his team-leading 12th long ball of the season. Senior Ethan Iannuzzi (Chesterfield, Va./Cosby) went deep to tie Cole with 12 dingers and make the score 7-3. RC plated three in the bottom of the eighth to make the final 10-3.
